This place is a joke and the reviews are clearly lying. I’ve come to this laundry mat for years and have seen plenty of different owners. Things have become so bad that for starters the machines are always out of order, the bottom dryers do not work well and on my last encounter I legit walked into seeing a man sleeping on the floor. I even took pictures because of my disbelief. Myself and plenty of other patrons called the owners multiple times and nobody answered. Customers should be able to do their laundry in a safe space without the worry of a drunk homeless harassing them.

December 2017... Elite Coin Laundry has recently changed ownership. Wash price remains the same. New owners don't run the A/C as cool as previous owners... this could be a 'deal breaker' for me next summer. No washroom facilities. ATM and change machines available. Fast forward to April 5th, 2018... Owner: Yes, I understand that the A/C is off now for the Winter, however when you first took over Elite Coin Wash last Fall (2017), we had a heat wave for a few days and your shop was Stifling Hot. I checked the A/C unit and it was barely cool... You and your Wife were in the shop at the time doing renovations. I don't know how you could work in that heat when you could have turned up the A/C. A bit of advice to you... It would better for you to clean the shop after-hours. Have someone come in after 11pm to clean up. That way the shop is Clean and Tidy for 7am and you don't have to work around your customers. One day, I arrived at ECL at 7am to find a mess. Softener sheets on the floor, garbages were full and the laundry baskets were everywhere and in the way. I pushed all the baskets to the rear of the shop. You and your Wife arrived at about 9am to clean up. Yeah... cleaning up after-hours would be much better IMO. You are adding Washroom facilities... that's great... Glad to hear! Hope the A/C is on, and nice'n cool this summer... Please and Thank you!

I stopped going here because I lost so much money on non-functional machines. Also many machines take the coins and don't credit you. Nowhere to complain.

Laundry became necessary today and this was where I was. The place is filthy. I used one extra large machine and one small machine and neither one of them spin the laundry out enough. It's not the first time I've washed these and I know that when you spin them they come out a whole lot dryer. I probably would never come back here and try and find a better place

Small but convenient- No one around the laundromat to help. The coin dispensing machine does not accept bills even if they are slightly folded. No coffee, no TV, no wi-fi and no return from the machine if you put in extra coins. Only a single bench to sit. But the positive is only that the machines are good and they also have easy dispensing detergent machines so they serve the purpose and hence the four stars.

In regards to a negative review posted from Muhammed I find it false as girl who work there and manages location would and has never refused any customers when monies have been lost in our machines. We always strive in providing the best customer service to our customers and I find this Muhammed guy is making these false accusations and on the same note promoting another local laundry location seems pretty fishy to me. Called me back, supported an appointment, and securely cared for my laundry. Fast and professional but CASH ONLY. ATM in the facility may charge a fee reduces the annoyance of this.

I was locked inside at 11pm. I had to call the police to let me out as there were no phone numbers inside that were posted for support. The police and neighbour informed me that this happened before to others customers. I was out at 01:15AM after police got in touch with the owner.

Just visited this place, great location very convenient with surrounding food/shops to keep me busy while my clothes washed/dried. The place was clean and the machines work great, much better then some places I've visited in the past. Met the two new owners and their two babies as they were coming by to check on things, super nice family. They may/plan on adding fold and wash services in the future which I look forward to it since sometimes my wife or I would just drop off and pick the clothes up later. Great customer service. Definitely coming back.

So sad to see this place deteriorate. Very poorly kept promises. Previous owner took pride at maintaining the machines and premises. Normally dont use but only when we need to clean comforters. Really disgusted and disappointed business in my neighborhood is maintained this way. Sad.

Brought all my big blankets and comforters and used their biggest washers and dryers too. Machines were clean and easy to use for a first-timer. Will definitely be back next week with winter jackets and chair covers!

I have been going to this laundry for about 2 years. My husband, who usually goes, used to come back saying what a lovely young hard-working couple the owners were. When I went I was very impressed with how they had cleaned up the place and had all machines in working order compared to the previous owners. They now have several brand new machines. I was also quite impressed with how personable the owner was to me, treating and speaking to me with respect. I had visited a brand new coin laundry previously where the prices were much higher and the owner spoke to me condescendingly like a second class citizen. This young couple are obviously hard working individuals and do business with integrity. So not only is the price the best we have seen for the dryers, it is the fact that the owners are honest and friendly that we will continue to go there as long as we need to use the dryers. I highly recommend this coin laundry if you are in the area. Sita H. I am Sita's husband, Mike, and often to to the Elite Coin Laundry. I have found the place to be clean, the price has always been good and the staff are always polite and helpful. I come back there time and time again . I would recommend it to anyone.

Went here for the first and last time today. One of the machines ate my money upon a technicality. Asked for a reimbursement and the girl working there would not. I never had this issue at other laundry places. Put a sign up so people will know about it. Besides that it's so cramped there you are bound to bump into people, machines and tables every time. Even with 2-3 people it feels packed in there. And only 3 cheap, lawn chairs to sit in. Prices average-high but machines were good. You'd be better off going to the one on confederation just south of Burnhamthorpe. Lots of room, good selection of machines, proper service and price is alright.

I have gone here before, before new owners it was very clean and machines were attended to. Recently there has been new management and the place is usually always dirty (garbage everywhere, floors dirty) i assume some of the mess is due to people who cannot clean up after themselves, the service desk is never open and they have removed the coffee machine
