How a business can operate without being able to speak the primary language of English is beyond me. Walked in and got asked 'what do you want?" Not a great start. Initially asked about buying a few t-shirt covers which any place would sell or offer extras to a customer. They wouldn't even give me one. Was going to bring my drycleaning but after that brief experience I can't imagine the work is any better than the service

All of their sign says “dry cleaning” and also their website. Went there and said, “oh we dont do dry cleaning” uhhh... the sign on the front and the big head sign and the website says dry cleaning.. so just take note people.

These people are so wonderful! My husband got his suits dry cleaned and I had a newborn at home and was not able to pick up his clothing for him as he is busy working. The lady that works there offered to deliver his suits at our house as we literally live down the street. Such great, caring people. I completely forgot to leave a review for this business as I am busy with my baby.. happy I remembered 3 months later! Excellent customer service.. went above and beyond our expectations.. we will definitely be going here over and over. Very surprised to see some negative comments as my experience was phenomenal that I just can't imagine anything but good from this business. My husband and I have had such a positive experience.. we are so thankful for your services. Thank you!

Great place nice people, have never had any problems with them being rude or getting change BUT 8$ for big washer an you need 2 dryers for 1 big washer fully loaded, an the dryers are 1$ for 16 minutes an you need to have the stuff in the dryer for 45-60 min. 1 big washer=8$ needs 2 dryers on for 48mins each so 4$ each dryer so 16$ for washer an dryer..... could be alot cheaper but beggers cant be choosers

I needed some alterations done in a pinch and the tailor at the desk was very accommodating and had stuff done by the end of the day for me. The work was quality and I'm very satisfied with the service. I don't normally go to laundromats but this one had a clean interior and the machines looked new.

Used to be the best laundry in all of cloverdale, probably won’t ever go back now that all the prices were raised for no good reason. Absolutely no reason to do this when it’s CONSTANTLY busy and the owners are in no way needing the extra funding.

We always come here. The family are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and tidy and we have never had issues with any of the machines. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I paid $70 (ridiculous price) for them to do my laundry while my husband & I ran errands. The woman did not know what a "delicates wash bag" was, so she emptied all of my delicates out of their bags, into the washers. This not only wrecked some of my pricey bras/underwear, but it also mixed all of my socks into the rest of my laundry, leaving me to search through everything to find the matching socks. Having someone else do your laundry should NOT result in YOU having to do MORE work. They also do not carry unscented detergent, so you have to supply your own. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone if you are paying for them to do your laundry. Not only is it expensive, but they don't even know how to do laundry properly.

Super kind family owned business! There's been a few times, where I put few loads in the washing machines but came back late by their closing time and they kindly left our clothes in the machines (untouched and safe) for us to come back the next day to throw them in the dryer. Very nice of them considering some other laundry businesses just will throw your clothes outside In garbage bags. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO SOUTH SURREY/CLOVERDALE RESIDENTS.

This is a great laundromat as they are very friendly and they walk around keeping the place clean and giving you the occasional candy even. Awesome people with a great location downtown Cloverdale. I'm sure you have seen this laundromat in some movies or TV shows as they film lots on this street.

Good clean facility but hours of operation not sufficient. Did a drop off laundry service, went back at 4:50pm to pick up on Saturday, they were already closed when hours listed on Google as open til 7pm.

They charged extremely high amount for such a small amount of clothes. They kept my laundry basket and returned my clothes in garbage bag!!!! I asked gor my basket they argued with me and kept saying no! I am fustrated with the poor customer service, kanguage barrier, and lack of professionalism, will never come back here again!!!!! 2 thumbs down????????

This is the worst Alterations place I've ever been. I ran out of time to finish hemming my curtains so I brought my last 6 in to be done. The lady could not tell me how much it would cost and said it would be cheap. I return a weak later and am charged a whopping $126, seriously for the easiest sewing job possible, that a seamstress could do in no time (they have all the equipment). I take them home and hang them. One pair is measured wrong. So I return with an example curtain (that I hemmed) for them to copy. I explain that i told the staff i needed the curtain to Hang 83". Therefore they needed to take into account the tabs and the width of the rod (ie: start the measurement an inch from the top of the hanging tab)... the staff argue that its my fault because the person accepting the work order doesnt know how to sew. And wouldnt know where the start the measurement since ppl measure from different spots. So i tell them, you didnt know so you just assumed rather then calling me? Then j say if i know nothing about sewing, which is a very likely reasons someone would take something in to sew, wouldnt it be reasonable to have the person who is being paid for the profession to ask all the questions necessary in order to do the job right. We got into a big argument and though they're going to fix it. They treated me disrespectfully, kept telling me to be quiet, and wouldnt listen to my side. I told them im not paying for the fix. But they will fix it. The most disrespectful, rude staff ive encountered. I will never go back. Exorbitant prices for terrible service.

Like the other review claims, the washing machines are indeed set on cold for the entire wash cycle. I made a point of checking a few times during the washing cycle and the water was always cold.

Nice place with good people. Very clean, tidy and spacious store. Lots of big machines so you don't have to wait. Always sports on their tv which is nice, and I always like grabbing a bite next door at panago pizza. Will definitely bring my business here for a while.

If you're in Cloverdale are and need to do laundry come here don't go to The Clothespeg, theres a reason these guys are always busy and Clothespeg isn't. Same great machines, more machines.
