Good place to take your clothes and get it done!!!!
My favorite laundromat in Waterloo. Very clean and well lit with plenty of seating and tabels to fold at. Plus a great selection of washers in various sizes, all the way up to 80lbs. And a WHOLE WALL of dryers! I've never had to wait for someone else to finish up their laundry in order to get mine in a dryer. I also love the little detail of how all the washers and dryers have names like "Wally" and "Big Ben," it makes me smile.
This is one of the CLEANEST laundromats I have ever been to, every other week.
Clean, good assortment of washer sizes, reasonably priced and great Wi-Fi. Oh, and a bathroom.
Clean washrooms... lots of machines ... usually not busy enough to wait for machines... hardly any out of service signs on the machines.
Clean, quite and convienent. A bit pricey, but worth it
Very clean and spacious with lots of different size and type of washing machines and dryers.
Best in town
Could really have used some air conditioning, otherwise fairly typical laundry. Clean.
My dryer is being repaired so I had to come here, I was pleased to see how clean this establishment is. Everything was operable and in good working order..the price is what it is, but I would say it’s worth it because 2 loads only took me about 1 hour to wash and dry, will probably com back to do large loads, bedding and duvet covers in the future as the value makes sense
Good prices, nice people, lots of machines, only bummer is that there is no atm inside. Other than that, about as much fun as doing laundry can be.
My washer broke the week before Christmas, so ended up doing laundry here. I got there around 4ish and only two other people were there. Not busy at all and I was alone for a large majority of my 2.5hours there. These are a list of items that I observed while I was there. Washers - lots in working order about 4 not at the time. I used one of the larger $7.00 machines for all my lights and whites. The smaller $4.50 for my darks. Wash time was 28 minutes each machine. The compartments for the detergent seemed fine, but the section for fabric softener was so gunked up of fabric softener that the fabric softener section was full of water spilling the softener into the detergent compartment. The detergent and softener compartments could use a good cleaning. I know I had the same issues with my washer at home, but cleaning it fixed my issue. Clothes did not come out as dry as they do from my washer at home. Not sure what RPMs the washers are, but I was in a bind so got over it. Dryers - all but one were working, so no issues there. $0.25 for four minutes. Took about an hour and a half to dry clothes using 2 dryers. I think I used about $9 or so to dry clothes. Cleanliness - the floors at the time were pretty dirty, but understandable since it's winter and people wear boots. I had to make sure I didn't drop clothes on the floor. Overall the place was clean. Vending machine - decent snacks, a little pricey on the snacks, but drinks were $1. Change machines - one machine was supposed to give out only loonies, but I got quarters as well. Both machines worked fine. Bathroom - pretty clean, but only used it to wash my hands. WiFi - worked well using the password provided. I was streaming Netflix while working and it was decent. Tables and seating - several tables for folding and cafe like seating and tables at the back. Even had a kid section with mats. Comfy seating. Overall, this place works when you are in a bind. I don't think I would personally go on a regular basis. Hope this review helps.
Cleanest laundromat I have ever seen! Lots of big machines and plenty of space to fold too!
Clean and well maintained
Clean! Stainless steel machines of all sizes. Trolleys avail to shuttle to and from the car as parking is about 60 ft away. (Our home laundry is currently awaiting repair part but a good spot to find in the interim!) Being open a later on a weekday than other places we had considered was very helpful.
Clean and washers available!
I really don't understand why there's a few comments saying "we don't need inspirational posters and paint". Are you kidding?? The paint and posters give it a fresh, updated look as the "old" laundry mat was dirty, out of date and needed a make over. I love doing my laundry here now and I find the prices to be very reasonable, considering you can do like 8 loads in the larger machines. Overall a great place to go as they even have snacks, wifi and nice tables to sit at and flyers and books to read while waiting and an area for children. Thank you for giving it the awesome makeover it needed!!!
good place
Super clean,wifi..ac..snack machine, and someone is there in the morning best in town
Okay place. I'd go back, especially for the large format washers.
Very clean facility, staff (Teresa) was very helpful and friendly, great customer service. 5 stars overall.
Under new management and the place has really been cleaned up. All the machines were working and there was a lady on site cleaning. A little more expensive then some other facilities in town. $20 for 3 loads $12 to wash and $8 to dry. No air conditioning so expect to sweat on those hot summer days. Very warm inside.
Clean and air conditioned!!!
Very clean!
Great place, a good variety of washers, get you in and out fast. The only thing I can think of is that, if you have equipment that only accepts loonies, you should have a loonie change machine. It was our first time there. Had plenty of quarters and tonnies, had to run across the street to the Petro to change toonies into loonies. We'll know better for next time.
Great laundromat. Very clean. Come here every couple months and do a few loads and bedding. I like the dryer system of 4 minutes to a quarter because some of my stuff dries faster than others. It’s always really clean as well. The woman who works there is very nice and helpful.
It is a bit pricey compared to other laundry shops, especially near the campus areas, however the place was clean and well maintained. There were plenty of machines to use and they worked well and were large enough to fit everything in one load. My kids enjoyed the little play area and they even had toys. We rarely do laundry outside of our home but next time we need to we're definitely coming back here! Oh and there's also free wifi ;)
Quarters is great! A very convenient and central location with ample parking. They offer a nice, wide variety of machines for all your needs. They have high load capacity machines, which is perfect because I can't fit my comforters in my home washing machine. An entire wall of dryers is available for you as well. They have change machines and I have never had a problem or been short changed. They have soap, softener and any laundry needs available in case you forget. This place is always clean and neat. Well lit and lots of tables for folding. This is by far the best laundromat I have ever had to go to.
Our dryer broke and I had to come here to finish my laundry. It is clean and bright but I was surprised by the number of broken machines.
They name their machines male and female names. It's funny to see who will wash and dry ur clothes
Pretty good overall. A few notes. Fair number of broken machines but they have so many it's okay. My particular machine, dubbed "chuck", was a little whiny especially in a quiet place. Costs were a little more than my buildings usual rate but came out close due to using a large machine. Some okay seating and a few snack machines help time go by but better bring something to do alongside. Oh yeah wifi seems to not work tried a few different options and no luck.
The wifi password is quarters25 they have alot of washers and dryers. Big ones too. The change machine never rips me off and its clean inside
Lovely facility, clean, and well maintained.
This place is a rip off the timmers are mess on the dryers i had cloths in the dryer for over 20 min and its still damp.thats how they take people's money !!!! Somone needs to look in to this place !!!!
Best laundromat ever! I was forced to use a laundromat regularly for the first time last year. The place was bright and consistently clean, the staff was cheery and helpful, and they even have a lending library there. It totally boosted my impression of laundromats. I was almost sorry when our sewage issues at home were fixed! Almost. ????
I loved going her Until they changed there hours I am an early person and 6 am was great for doing laundry 8 is to late and now I have to find a new place to go. I don’t understand they stayed open thru the whole COVID and now that everything is starting to open up the shorten there hours. Now there will be more people in at a time with shortened hours.
Great space, folding tables, consistent machine service but random high traffic times where people use 5 dryers each
Welcome to Quarters Coin Laundry A Quarter of Machines Don't Work A Quarter of Our Machines Take Quarters A Quarter (of a dollar) is what's spent on maintenance per year And by going elsewhere you'll spend a quarter of the price Oh but we do have free WiFi about the only plus
New management has made great improvements. WiFi functionality varies. Otherwise not a bad place.
Only go about once a year but always clean
Its too expensive, machines are always broken. The place has gone downhill with the new owners.
Well maintained, 4 sizes of washing machines. Change machines provide quarters and loonies required. Some people use too much soap in larger machines. A problem for people allergic to fragranced products who come after.
Clean location but VERY expensive and disappointing. The washer either wasn't working or doesn't have a spin cycle so my clothes were soaking wet. The dryers work okay but not great and no staff were on site (from what I could see the hour I was there). Super disappointing experience and quite an expensive to be leaving with still damp clothing.
The most well maintained and clean laundromat in the area. Can be a little busy on the weekends and you might have to wait to get a dryer. But that speaks to how good it is here.
Been going her for over two years. Best and cleanest laundry mat in all of kW. Trust me been to all kinds. The price is fair. My favourite machine is the 80lbs load washer. Good for large blankets. Took the advise off the wall and added a dry towel to my dryers and found out you do save on drying time. Staff are friendly and if the machine eats your money just drop a slip under the door before you leave and they will call you back to refund the money even if it is only a small amount. Keep up the good work.
The washers are decent they get the job done quick, as for the dryer they seem to take longer to dry not enough heat coming from them. Which in the end cost you more to dry.. not a bad place if you are in a pinch, I wouldn't make it a weekly thing considering I have kids who go through close non stop I'd practically live there if that was the case .
Good laundromat, nice and clean. Machines well looked after.
A little more expensive than some of the other laundromats nearby, but also much larger, with more machines, and overall a nicer place. Definitely worth paying a little more if you have multiple loads to wash as the odds of all the machines being in use is low. Also offers multiple coin dispensers, vending machines, a washroom, and free Wi-Fi. If you're looking for a basin basin sink to handwash in, it's in the back corner past the dryers.
Expensive and very hot inside.
Extremely clean! Very impressed! I definitely recommend this place. ????????
10/10 clean AF. Tiny Tim put in work.
The Quarters Coin Laundry recently had a change in management. The old management really let the place go down the tubes. The new management has put in a lot of new machines - and significantly increased the prices, nearly double the price of any other laundromat in town, but highly efficient! It is not "quarters only" anymore. Most of the washers only accept loonies (the dryers are still quarter only), but there are 2 change machines, so you can get all the right change you need. Do not ask the hair salon next door for change. They have big sign posted saying they will not provide any change for the laundromat! The vending machines have been upgraded so you can actually get a snack if you want. Still no coffee machine though : ( The location is great. You have shopping and restaurants nearby (basically across the street from Conestoga Mall) if you don't want to watch the dryer spin. There is free WiFi. The place is huge, so you don't have to worry about social distancing or not finding an empty washer or dryer. I love it! It is not the closest to my home, but I gladly drive the extra distance. I highly recommend this place!
Not as wonderful as it use to be but the do have free internet now. Many machines are down for repairs but are clearly marked so you don't accidently use a broken one. All machines have been given a human name which is kind of fun.
