Completely ruined our Moose and gave us bs about how it's "defected" from Moose's factory, when our jacket was worn for 2 years with not a hint of damage until they washed it. It obviously looks like it was jammed and pulled in their machines which caused this damage. The worker there just tells us that we have to take it to Moose if we want it fixed and they never even apologized from start to finish. We didn't take their bs and demand them to compensate/repair it and they start yelling at us and demanded us to pay for the other jackets first. This was ridiculous! Eventually they called the "owner" at 135 Ottawa St, who didn't even treat it seriously and jokes that it's at the end of its lifetime? What kind of business owner speaks like this? What kind of business treats their customers like this? If they can destroy our jacket with not a single apology or compensation, what gives them the right to stay in business? Don't wash here.

The King Street location for NewTex is just excellent. Great service. Tailoring and cleaning is second to none. I take all of my shirts and pants there for laundering. They are also great with delicate items. I highly recommend them.

I was really skeptical about going to just any dry cleaner to get my jacket cleaned. I did my research and Newtex had the best reviews. I can proudly say that I am glad I chose to bring my jacket here because they did an astonishing job. The staff themselves are very kind and honest. I appreciate the business they do and will continue to bring my items here for dry cleaning. I highly recommend coming here!

They were very friendly and helpful. Pretty quick turn around and my light grey Canada Goose jacket went in brown and came out as clean as it's been in a few years. They did what other cleaners couldn't it seems!! Only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because it was pretty expensive, however they said it went through 3x and the prices have gone up everywhere for Canada Goose jackets to reflect the price of the item. I think I'll continue to use the services!

Janet, the seamstress at Newtex, completed the alterations of my wedding dress. She did an incredible job! She was very kind and the price was reasonable. Janet was very attentive to the details of my dress and executed my expressed needs perfectly. She worked on the dress until I was completely satisfied. The dress looked beautiful and I had so many positive comments on it (as well as the fit of it). Thank you so much, Janet, for your hard work and incredible skill!
