Staff guy was really friendly but there seemed to be alot of machines out of order. The only time I need a laundromat is when I have more loads than usual and it's too many trips for the two machines in my building. So I come needing a few extra large machines. When i arrive and there's none to be found between machines being used and ones out of order...i get cranky. Pretty much a spoiled girl /developed nation problem. But still.. it's not cheap to use these places, and I guess we expect what's advertised to bee available. It's a bummer when it's not. There are snacks and drinks and stuff... which is nice. With a dive bar atmosphere...which is perfect when doing laundry. Best part is the staff. Didn't catch his name but it was 5pm on a Thursday afternoon. Really helpful and friendly.

This place provides you with the basics of what you need to do laundry. There's signs that this place used to be something a bit more novel back in the day (cafe, pinball machine, gumball machines, and other various neato things), but these are all out of order and no longer work.

Open 7 days a week, Lots of washers and dryers. food and drinks available for purchase. Can also purchase laundry detergeant and softer. Workers are very helpful to newcomers and can also provide change if you didn't bring enough.

Friendly staff with food and drinks available. Also available is laundry soap both liquid and pods. Coin activated 1.00 machine for 2 laundy sheets. Has big machines that take 6 loads of laundry $8.00(not many tho). Next size mschine is $5.50 and it does 3 loads aprox ( more of these machines than tge $8.00 ones). Rest are all $3.00 machines that do a regular size loads. These machines are in silver with lock frontload, the others are white frontload but lock when in use. There are plenty of these. Dryers are very large drying types at .25 for 3min and then smaller dryers at .25 for 5min. It's a busy location for sure due to the surrounding apt. buildings. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. If I have any bad things to say it's this: They constantly have broken down machines that from what I've encountered take seemingly forever to fix. This can frustrate people! So either the ask the other customers who's up next or maybe you are but have to wait for your desired machine to be available next. Prices are fair as far as laundromats go, TV is there in entertainment side with pinball game plus tons of books for kids and parents. You also have the ability to drop off and collect your laundry that you pay for by the staff. Outside smoking area with picnic tables to sit on while waiting for laundry. Washroom is on site and has been upgraded by owners (clean too). I go there due to it's close proximity to my home. I also go at irregular times and days. I usually choose Wednesdays, Thursdays and I go either in mornings or afternoons because I found it's a dead zone times and days. However that doesn't mean that going on a tuesday or Saturday at sometime and you find nobody's there really well then you lucked out. In summary I rate it a 4/5 due to the frequency of my visits and the friendly, helpful staff!

Although machines are old but they are better than the new ones. I went to another laundromat last week which was newly opened but it didn’t dry my cloths properly and they charged extra for getting coins. This DJ Laundry Cafe has very competitive prices, their machines work great and excellent customer service.

This place used to be beautiful when it first opened up. Now, it's a dump. Prices are much lower than the other Laundromats and their machines take real money, not tokens. The gentleman working there appears hyper, but he's alone, doing dry cleaning, folding, looking after customers, etc. So, he's quite busy. A lot of the machines are broken. The place is congested and run down.

It is airconditioned which is nice, and there is a worker on site to help out if you have a problem. However, that is where the positives end. 6 machines were out of order, the laundromat was in need of a serious cleaning, there was wash and fold clothing hanging everywhere taking up room and crowding folding tables, and the food/bar area was basically non existant. This place has potential but needs a major overhaul.

Used to come here all the time. First return in about 4 months - 80% of machines are broken and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Will look elsewhere for our next wash

Its in my neighborhood. I've been going there off & on over the years. I understood but was not happy with having to wait outside while my laundry was in the machines. I won't do that in the winter. Prices are very reasonable.

Had to be the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I had 1 item to wash. A dog bed. They stopped me at the door before even entering to inspect the bed. They said ok it’s fine. I went to an empty washer and was quickly followed and told I couldn’t use that one because someone else is about to use it. Went to anther washer that costs $2.50 more than the $5.50 one I wanted. Then had an altercation with both staff ( I’m pretty sure one was the owner) and a customer about keeping the 6ft socially distancing when I am fully vaccinated and had my mask on and was simply trying to put 8 loonies in their machine. I was threatened I would be punched in the face when I left and then couldn’t wait inside for my wash to complete. Told to leave and come back in 25 minutes when the washer was done. Ridiculous. If you can find anywhere else to have your laundry done it’s worth the extra drive.

Great attentive friendly owner. Provides cash back for small change to use the machines. Has a snack bar and dining area with plenty of chairs. Linen service as well. Very clean and well-taken-care over-all, an immacculate washroom! :-) Best to go early because it can get a bit crowded later in the day.

Although the staff are generally friendly, consistently we have seen that many machines are out of service (with some having been down for more than a couple of months). In addition, the few large machines that are working are usually being used by the staff for the business' associsted linen services and cannot be used by customers. This results in having to use multiple smaller machines for one laundry load, which increases the total cost per load by a fair bit. Location is generally clean and has snacks/drinks on site and also easily within short walking distance of other fast food locations.

I've come here several times over the past few months and the number of broken machines keeps increasing as none get fixed. Currently with 15 broken washing machines, and With a majority of the larger machines broken, it makes it hard to clean large loads and feels like an intentional cash grab to make people use more smaller machines and thus spend more money. 1/5

Worst customer service ever. The lady was very rude throughout the entire visit and we didn’t realize we could not fold our clothes as it was the first time we had been in since before Covid and instead of asking politely and telling us that this was in place due to the restrictions she was so rude and was like did you read the sign. She only said that to us when other customers were sitting and waiting and she said nothing to them. Won’t be coming back. She clearly needs to be retrained in customer service and this says a lot about the company if this is how the manager acts.

Asked why not wearing one. Told me to shut up and wear my mask. Walked out. Reported them. Not putting up with the attitude towards a customer.

Always a pleasure to drop off our outsized laundry (comforters, duvets, dog blankets etc.) here. Friendly and efficient staff and very quick turnaround! They also have food and coffee available as well - what else do you need? Wait... they have a pinball machine as well - FTW!
