My washing machine decided to quit, so I went to The Clothes Pin in Westbank today (March 8 2019) to get laundry done. What I didn't expect is the extraordinary service! Easily the best laundromat on the Westside. Cheryl, the lady who owns it, is personable, fun, and helpful as all be all. My partner forgot soap once, she took care of him, and she always has spare change. There are top and front loading machines ($5 per wash) and the front loading dryers offer 5 minutes per $0.25 (need about $2 to dry. If your lucky, the big industrial dryers will be available and dry you clothes almost twice as fast ($2 for 12 minutes and add quarters to top up). The other customers are always really nice and up for a chat if you are. Oh, and free WiFi completes the awesomeness of this place. A true gem.

I’m in a bit of a shock with this place as I just spent 80 dollars dry cleaning my suit and my wife’s dress and I figured I would put in some ties too what could go wrong ? Being new to the area I love to support local and find those hidden gems. This is just unfortunate not only did they not get our dry cleaning done at the specified time they had written down (3pm) they then proceeded to tell me to call back when it is there … after having to wear a different suit and my wife dress to my grandfathers funeral we shrugged it off thinking it’s just an off day. We picked it up brought it home and opened up to find none of my ties are cleaned or pressed and my shirt has an iron burn line on it. Definitely will not be coming back and will begin to deter others also. Pic of the ties, shirts already in the garbage ????????????????

This laundromat is super clean and well cared for and the owner is very friendly and helpful. A wash is $3.50 a load, it costs about $2.00 to dry (takes quarters so less if you have a smaller load). There is a Ton Horton's right out the front door, so you can have a coffee while you wait.

Staff are pleasant and nice to deal with. Brought in a bridesmaid dress that was SO dirty from a rainy outdoor wedding, I did not have high hopes it would come clean. Somehow they got it perfectly clean and looking brand new! I was shocked and so pleased with the results. Definitely recommend.

I was in town for vacation and they promised to have my laundry dried and returns to me today at noon (Thursday) when I dropped off my clothes on Tuesday. On their site they say they do same day but I was told they were too busy and with stat the best they could do was Thursday at noon, and specifically wrote that down on my slip. We showed up at noon and they hadn’t even began to wash my clothes. While on vacation, and not to mention the gas, I was forced to drive back in to town to grab my clothes. The best they could offer was 10% off ($2.70) off. Completely disappointed and inconvenienced while on vacation not to mention I needed those clothes back for my for my 2yr child. Definitely would not recommend!

We went to this laundromat to drop off laundry for them to do. they wanted over $100 to wash and dry 7 items. Went to another laundromat and did drop off and it was $24 for same items. Not sure why the exorbitant cost to put in a washer take out and put in dryer. Would definitely not recommend.

Amazing results. I dropped my very delicate lace trimmed wedding dress off with low expectations of it coming clean. I WISH I had a before photo as it’s almost unbelievable it was able to be cleaned. Good as new, would highly recommend.

OMG Wendy was just amazing. Located in the town of West Bank near Kelowna B.C. is a small, warm and cozy laundromat quaintly named "Clothes Pin Laundromat ". It has several normal sized and 2 supersized washing machines. Driers as well (although I didn't use them). Plenty of parking. Don't let the small size fool you, this facility is clean and fully equipt. The laundromat offers self-service and drop off options. How nice is that!?! What else could you want? What I really liked about this place are the 2 ladies that run it. They were welcoming, professional and quietly entertaining/funny. I'm not a professional laundromat frequenter, but I believe the prices per load are at par with other facilities I've been to. The huge item that I washed, that had years of stains and dirt, came out clean! ????

I am the manager of a 40-bed venue in West Kelowna. We have been working with Cheryl at the Clothes Pin Laundry for 4 years now. In that time our laundry has always been cleaned to perfection and returned on time. I know what you are thinking...many laundries can do that. What makes the Clothes Pin Laundry exceptional is the degree of service they provide. Our laundry is generally gathered up by our cleaners in big bags. There is no rhyme nor reason to the contents. But when it is returned, everything is folded neatly and bagged in sizes and in areas, so our cleaners know quickly what each sheet size is and what area of the venue it came from. This saves a tremendous amount of time when remaking so many beds. We have sent stained laundry which I was certain could not be cleaned, however, Cheryl is a wonder and will retreat stains if they don’t come out the first time. There are times when our cleaning schedule can change quickly, and Cheryl is always accommodating and cheerful. This eliminates extra stress in what can be a stressful situation. The Clothes Pin Laundry is also competitively priced which is a necessity for small business. I know we are getting value for our dollar. It is a pleasure to work with Cheryl and the Clothes Pin Laundry because they have a genuine desire to work with us as a team, providing a professional, efficient and friendly service. Had a little tiny bit of clothing a few T-shirts a towel and a pair of socks! From out of town very hard for me to find places. Walk in there around 5:05 online it said closes at 6 pm. She refused me washing my clothes! How long does a washer last maybe 20 mins? To dry them wouldn't of taken more then 30 mins tops! Maybe can tell people online when LAST WASH is. I could of been in and out of there before 6 pm. Guess these laundromat places are making a killing refusing customers?
