I more felt that I was bothering her by being in the store. I initially went to Reddhart to buy a similar pair of boots that my buddy purchased. After explaining what i was trying to accomplish, Deb help me try them on and suggested another style. After trying the Red Wing boots that Deb suggested i immediately elected to purchase them. Deb's attention made the entire experience pleasant and her knowledge of the products was very impressive. The Red Wing boots are pricey in general but they are of very high quality. The Reddhart pricing was considerably less than online/internet list price. I went to reddhart because a school mate of mine told me they have 20% on carhartt gear (which is what the whole store sells), all the time. So naturally when I needed work wear I went to go check them out. That's where I met Deb. Who was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I have since recommended everyone who need work wear to go here. It was a very good experience. Did I mention 20% off always?

First experience here was better than the rest (~5 visits). First visit she was very helpful and friendly and asked we wrote a 5-star review on Google to get a discount, also got free merch. Since first visit haven't received nearly the same attention. Now it's mostly condescending tones and like it's a hassle to help. Also no more free merch for big purchases is a bit sad but understandable. COVID is hard on everyone, it shows for this company unfortunately...

Abrasive service. Minimal patience with my questions. It was a packaged item I was interested in and the employee had little knowledge about the product and said she had never seen or felt it before (I had questions about the fabric and fit). Maybe she was just having an off day but it was very off putting and unfortunately I didn't get the clarity I needed to feel comfortable buying a non-refundable product. Regardless of all of the above, a kind approach shouldn't be too much to expect as a customer.

I've been shopping here for a few years. I am an electrician by trade and hard on my gear, so I can appreciate the quality brands that are sold here. The sales staff are genuinely nice people and care about putting you into the right gear, they are experienced and really know their stuff! I like to shop around so that I get my best value and I will say that the everyday price at this store is WAY better than Mark's "sale" prices; plus, there is an awesome points system here which adds to the value! All the 1 star people seem like salty douches who would complain no matter what... can't make everyone happy I suppose. Do yourself a favor, at least walk through the doors and have a good look when shopping for your work gear, it's worth the stop.

Deb and her staff really helpful but Deb is by far the most knowledgeable. My boots had an issue and I was a few days out of warranty. Deb looked after me and helped me to get back in a pair of boots. Was sold faulty boots and spent the day with freezing wet feet. Went in for return and was denied any kind of deal. They wouldn't even let me use my flippin points I earned there. What a joke! And to top it all off the manager was awful to deal with (no sympathy or responsibility for the products they sell). I would give a lower rating if it was possible. Cannot stress enough how much I would recommend avoiding this store.

After driving two hours to get here, specifically because the website said they have the brand we are looking for, made in Canada, we were greeted at the door with a statement only 4 persons allowed in the store at a time, 3 of whom were teenagers just browsing. No problem with that, except after 15 mins of wait time, they left without purchase. I then went inside where I was told they did not have the brand in store but did have a brand made in Vietnam . I explained I specifically wanted the made in Canada brand and was told by this personnel they didn’t care what they had on the website but could order from them if I really wanted the boots. THIS is the reason stores are loosing so much business. Such bad customer service that I will never shop there again and will tell anyone who asks me about shopping there, what they can expect.

Great service. Would highly recommend. Staff took the time to properly measure my feet and make recommendations on boots from there, going so far as to make sure the boots would be tough enough to stand up to the rigours of my job. After trying on multiple pairs/sizes of boots to get the correct fit and multiple types of insoles, I have the best fitting boots I've ever had. Price was good as well, and got a free ball cap with purchase.

As soon as I walked in I was drawn to the Canadian Flag beneath the Viberg and Canada West wall display. After talking to Deb (very informative & helpful as always) I tried on a pair of Viberg 6'' Reddhart Purcell's (SOLD). The fit, quality of leather, factory toe protector, waterproof, Vibram fire & ice sole from a CANADIAN CO. for less $ than my usual Red Wings and I don't have to buy and apply a toe protector to a brand new boot!!!!!
