Not only is it under construction but the construction has stopped. There are no folding tables only used shelves that aren't table height. The lounge chairs are dirty, the place is a mess, which I could understand if it was being worked on, but it's not, none of the building material mess change at all week to week. The card system is just a hassle that isn't necessary, coin operated machines are much easier.

It's a great place to wash my sheets, comforters and quilts because they have big oversized machines in the back. The attendant is next door at the Soltice Tanning Salon so once in a while the card machine doesn't accept my cash so I must head over to switch to different bills. The location and machines are fantastic. Wish that it was open for longer hours but it's still good. It's a little weird to see they have stuff from their renovations or the tanning salon around one area of the laundromat but as long as the machines are good, it doesn't really matter to me. I just pop in my laundry and head down to the Restore or the consignment shop. I find the price is not too high or too low, pretty similar to the other laundromats in Westbank. I bring my own liquid detergent and I find that my clothes come out clean & I love that it's not packed with people. Most of the time it's just me in there or maybe one or two other people. Bathroom sometimes runs out of toilet paper & it looks like it's still under renovations...but maybe that's because the last person using the toilet paper was too lazy to ask for more or sometimes ppl steal the toilet paper? Not a fancy place but I love I get clean laundry for a fair price, been under $20 for a few loads each trip.

This place is great!, I went here one weekend when i first moved little confusing at first but if you passed elementry school you should be able to figure it out! The owner even stuck around to kick my ass some old school arcade game.

We come here often as I loath doing laundry and like the convenience of getting it all done in a couple hours. I do have to agree the broken down tanning equipment and lack of folding space or even rolling carts is a little alarming. It could be so much more enjoyable if the place didn’t act as a storage facility for the business next door. However, machines are usually pretty clean (the detergent drawer could use cleaning more often) but I bring some Lysol wipes and clean the ones I’m using anyways and I have only ever seen MAYBE 2-4 machines not working in the months I’ve been going. The girls next door are lovely and I like the charge card idea over carrying around hoards or coin. Just recently I over looked the attendant assist a mother doing her very large family’s laundry and it was humbling to watch.

The machines work well... not too clean.... but heaven forbid if your clothes fall on the floor! DEFINITELY need more counters or tables to fold laundry and more wheeled carts available to customers. Loading a money card is a great idea and saves people from handling coins while doing laundry.

Glen Wakefield

Fantastic, use it every week! Best deal in town.

Tristahx

Walked way out of my way to come here as a friend told me it was 2.50 a wash and free dry.....I've spent my last 10.00 on getting this ridiculous laundry card. I could have just stayed in my area and paid 5.00 at the laundry place by Timmies, Dollarama and McDonalds. Such a wacky way of doing things. THIS LOCATION DOES NOT TAKE COINS....you're a laundromat what the heck??? You're definitely not a high class place so why can I still do coin laundry at a place that's a lot nicer and also offers free WiFi?

Convenient, appreciated, dependable & good....????????????????????????????

They over charge for dryer time. Last time I went here I ended up spending 16 on dryers alone. The dryers here suck Plus my wash load. I ended up spending 21 bucks. They should charge less or give you more time

Gotta great laundry place... And tanning next door too!

Chip Zelinsky

Nice helpful staff

Michael Lozinski

A little confusing off the hop, but the signs explain everything well. The owner is super helpful. Machines are well kept and don't take long for a quality wash. Just make sure you don't over-fill them (common sense).

Tracy Teal

Easy to use, once you learn how, machines work well, quiet, efficient, girls at salon next door are very helpful and friendly, all in all a nice place. Also close by me!

Rolling Through Reality

Terrible. No staff, and the place is full of hazards. Hence the stop work order posted to the front door. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Shawna Klassen

Best laundrymat in West Kelowna, cheapest price in town, and great machines. Owner is super nice and friendly. The staff is next door at the tanning salon and they are amazing and always helpful if needed.

Wendy Pan

Friendly staff, very helpfull. Like the idea of using a card to pay for washers & free dryers. Shaw WiFi.

Hal Press

Nice economical place to do laundry. No cash used here, payment is made by using a card you can preload next door.

Confusing... Kind of icky...

Lori Carter

The machines have different times on them ...ie: start all the machines u are using at same time or w/in 5 secs of eachother and all the machines are set at least 2-4 mins different and same with dryers its kinda a rip off to me the place is junkey and dirty ill never use the washroom there.. Gross!!! But what can u do .. U gotta do ur laundry and its close to where i live.

ladyamanda123

The payment system is a little confusing at first. Machines don’t take coins, bills or credit cards. You have to purchase a card (there is a machine that takes only $5 bills, or you can purchase a card at the tanning salon next door) There is a $5 deposit for the card which you get back if/when you return the card. You can then add money to the card using the machine in the laundromat. If you can get that far the rest is great. Lots of machines, and only $2.50 a load with FREE dryers! Can’t beat that. Did my laundry last week at another laundromat nearby at it cost me nearly $50! Just did the same number of loads for $10. Will definitely be coming here from now on.

Kurtis Williams

Not bad, reasonable prices but lost a star because you can't put in exact change so if you aren't going to come back over and over you lost whatever is left on their card when you hand it in to get your deposit back.

Last load at 5:00 pm. Washer didn’t work properly and clothes were wet going into dryer. Attendant came in at 5:58 saying they were closing. I mentioned I had two minutes remaining, she stormed out. I now have a load of soaking wet clothes to hang up around my trailer.

DO NOT use their laundry service. We did and they lost 1 beach towel , 1 hand towel, 1 face cloth and a hair towel. I thought the service was great for $10 until I got home and sorted everything and they were not able to track the lost items. It cost me $40.00 replacing what they lost.

Kelly Bee

First of all - having to load a card up with $$ in order to use the machines - ridiculous! I was back and forth between the laundry shop and the tanning salon (same owner apparently) several times to work out issues with the card machine and also with machines themselves. I never did get a dryer to work. The space is not all that clean - needless to say, if you can make the drive to another location, would strongly encourage you to do so. If i could provide 0 stars i would.

Lucy Wieser

I don't think the negative reviews are warranted. The payment system really isn't that difficult to figure out. And during the week I strategically use larger bills to pay for coffee etc. so I have some 5's to use. The price is right, the machines are abundant. Sure, it isn't the nicest place to look at, but I'm doing laundry. I don't need a 'nice' place with an attendant hovering over me commenting on how to use their machines.

Don't understand the bad reviews , nothing wrong with this laundromat . I like this place always machines available they are big fast cheap and do a good job . The card is perfect much easier then change I highly recommend hot Sox !

VERY EFFICIENT HIGH VOLUME MACHINES. LITERALLY THE MOST AFFORDABLE LAUNDROMAT I HAVE USED SINCE LEAVING THE COAST FOUR YEARS AGO, BY AT LEAST THIRTY PERCENT. AS SHOWN THIS IS VERY MUCH A WORK IN PROGRESS, HOWEVER, THE REMAINING COSMETIC FINISHES DO NOT AFFECT ACCESSIBILITY. THE MACHINES ARE OPERATED BY A USER CARD WHICH IS LOADED AT A MACHINE IN FRONT OF THE STORE. IF YOU HAVE ANY DIFFICULTIES THE STAFF NEXT DOOR , AT SOLSTICE, CAN HELP. I BELIEVE THIS LAUNDROMAT IS ONE OF THE BEST KEPT SECRETS IN KELOWNA LOL I HAVE YET TO WAIT FOR A MACHINE. MY ONLY CRITICISM WOULD BE TO ASK FOR MORE ROLLING LAUNDRY BASKETS .

Nic

I don't understand the 1-star reviews others have given here. The machines are clean, there are lots available, and the prices are the best around. The payment system is different to the typical coin operated machines, but once you understand the system, it is far more convenient than carrying a bag full of loonies and quarters. Instructions posted in the laundromat are very clear and easy to follow, and for any too lazy to read, the staff at the salon next door are very friendly and willing to help/explain/change money. I paid $10 on arrival for a card + $5 credit. One load in a front loading machine cost me $2.50 to wash, and $1.50 to dry. I returned my card to the salon next door when I was done and recieved $6 back ($5 for the card +$1 refund for the balance remaining on the card). At a grand total of $4, this was by far my cheapest laundry visit in some time. The fact I didn't have to carry coins around was an added bonus.

Kamau Lawrence

Very dependable place if you need to get your laundry washed on time and on budget.

Donna N

Cheap wash, free dryers. Not very clean. If you don't care about ambience it's a good deal. More than half the washers are out of order too.

Chelsey Vogt

Brent Babcock

Very Shady place

Christina Minich

Great place to laundry

Nanette Spragins

Filthy. Will not be back.

Russell Belcourt

It's a great place for you to do your laundry

Dan King

It was very nice to use their facilities there. Clean and respectful.

Kathleen Tinning

I had to shake my head a bit after reading numerous reviews previously left by others, I personally think that the reloadable card method is not only convenient but pretty simple. No need to fumble a pocket full of change or having to go and break larger bills into a million effing quarters. I always recommend this laundromat to people and when I can, I'll drive a little further just to come to hot sox. Its the only laundromat as far as I know, that you can wash your clothes for 2.50 and then dry them in a massive gas powered dryer for free that completely drys a huge load of clothes in under half an hour.... And everyone's biggest conplaint is that you cant use coins and no wifi?! Well with the time you save not having to go change a 10 bill 3 or 4 times, then Bend over and pick up the handfull of change you just dropped for the 3rd time and waiting an hour for an armfulls worth of clothes to dry... There's not much free time between loads to sit and use WiFi snap chatting your TERRIBLE laundromat experience. Lol lighten up people. ;p

Awesome pricing lots of machines good location ????

Mark Anderson

DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT. These are not coin operated machines, so you need to buy a balance card from a machine in order to operate the washers and dryers. DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT. After following the instructions explicitly, the washer did not work(big surprise). DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT. There was no attendant on duty so no way to get a refund; the place is very dark and seedy. I should have known it was bad when I went in there and was only a couple of people in there. DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT. I would give zero stars if possible.
