Typically, I prefer to support the small, local, mom n pop businesses over the large, national corporations. At the same time, I require a quality product/service and at a reasonable price. Eco Choice delivered on all fronts. To be clear, I did my research. I called most of the carpet cleaning companies in the Kelowna area and requested quotes from all of them... and yes, I had all pertinent info ready... number of stairs, square footage of all rooms, hallways, and specialty areas, any pet stains that required special attention, etc. And I received quotes that were wildly different, as much as a 100% between lowest and highest figure. Eco Choice's quote was towards the lower end. Now, I understand that some establishment will try to justify their higher cost by educating the consumer with how awesome their product is and that it is hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, non-staining, pet-friendly... yada, yada, yada. And this justifies their exorbitant prices. But at the end of the day, I just want clean carpets... along with all the above descriptors. And Eco Choice again delivers. Their system utilizes eco friendly products and HOT steam water (over 100 degrees Celsius) to pull all the dirt and stains out. After they were finished my carpets were as new and their product is also pet-friendly... I ensured it as we have a dog. The one exception is the cat stain remover which apparently we want to keep the dog away from until after it dries... not a big deal. Bottom line: the carpets look great. As for the service/punctuality/ personality: I called on a Saturday; I had my carpets cleaned the following Thursday... five days later. Other companies are booking into the New Year. They said they would be at my home at 10:00 am; they were 10 minutes early. And as for personality: Jack and Lorraine are down home, real people. They are a married couple who laugh and prod each other like most other married couples. They like to share stories and get to know their clients... the reason I prefer small, mom and pop companies... they are real. And I like that. In the end, Lorraine told me I need to clean my carpets more often than I have been. As long as I can continue using Eco Choice, I will gladly follow her advice. 5 stars.

I read all of the reviews here, and I am shocked. This company sent a french crew here that went through my house in under an hour. No furniture moved to get behind or under it. Bought wife a new shampooer less than two months since Eco Choice was here, and water was black. What a waste of money and time!!! These people will not be my choice in the future!! Reply to eco choices response. Two dogs in the house, and they did clean up. But when I hire someone to come and clean my carpets and they don’t actually clean them, that means that you haven’t completed the job that we paid you for!

Excellent company who did a fantastic job on our carpets. I called around and this company not only had the best price, they had the best reviews and best availability. Our cat peed on our carpet and Lorraine and her husband came and treated the spots as well as cleaned the rest of our carpets. Lorraine called the next day to make sure the cat pee smell was gone. It was still lingering so they came back with an intense treatment (at no charge) to make sure we were satisfied. I can’t see another run of the mill carpet company doing that!
