I have been using total carpet for 10 years. They are the first company I recommend to any of my friends as well. The guys that's come over are friendly and fantastic. The carpet looks brand new. In fact if anyone comes to our home they state it's in great shape for having pets. Finally the owner Rick....when I call to book, he is great. We even chat about things that have nothing to do with cleaning carpets lol (house Reno's etc) and if a stain does come back after the job is done they will come back and try again without any problem Great company hands down, hense using them for 10 years plus

I had to move out of my apartment to a new place and totally forgot about calling for a professional carpet cleaning as part of my lease before moving out. My friend gave me Total Carpet, Upholstery & Vent Cleaning contact. I called them in the morning and luckily Darryl came in the afternoon to clean all the carpets. He was very efficient, did a great job. The carpets were all clean and didn’t have any chemical or weird smell at all. First time I hired them and definitely will use them again in the future. Don't believe the other reviews, this company is absolutely awful. We were told by the owner to read how good the reviews are before we booked a cleaning. They must all be from friends and family because this is not even close to the best carpet cleaning company in Kamloops. I just moved into my new home and wanted to get the previous owners carpets cleaned. It was a new plush, fluffy carpet before total carpet care arrived. When I arrived home my carpet was soaking wet and now the fluffy, plush feel my carpet use to have is completely gone. I called up the owner and he wanted to do absolutely nothing to fix the mess they made. Now I've had to pay $132 to get my carpet destroyed by total carpet care. I rarely write reviews but I want to save all the other good people out there from using terrible services like this one.

Just had the vents and carpets cleaned on Friday.(Oct.4) Dan did a fantastic job. The cleaning system even removed candle wax and an old wine stain on my light carpet. The carpet now looks like new (and it's more than 10 years old).

These guys were excellent - very thorough and reasonably priced. Due to a toddler infestation, the upholstery on our dining room chairs WAS NASTY, and now they look and smell like new! He also cleaned out our vents and area rug, and I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend TOTAL CARPET :)

He was an old man who wanted to pay for the "service" you provided and you threaten and call him names? Absolutely disgusting and appalling behaviour for a business to have. Great service and very reasonably priced. Saved me from a jam, I had two rental properties to do same day so was in a time frame, I had to cancel Rainbow Restoration from doing 2nd property because it was such a bad experience and way overpriced. Total Carpet was so accommodating and got my place done within the next few hours, very profesional and did a wonderful job and for a much more reasonable price. These guys have done my carpets twice, once for a maintenance clean and then a move out cleaning. He did an excellent job, on time, friendly, carpets are like new after he was done. He got out tough pet and coffee stains. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing their carpets done! :)

I would like to start off by saying how quick and professional Total Vent was! My fiancé and I had been doing renovations and were on to finishing touches, when replacing a broken heat register, I had reached down to recover a screw but pulled out relics from decades passed... Called in for a quote expecting to pay big and have to wait a week or longer but had informed me he had a service tech in our area and could assist us with a vent cleaning same day! We were booking to have all of our vents and ducts cleaned out and since that would take a few hours, we were booking for about 5 days away. I was asked if my dryer was working properly and it wasn't (I had been suspicious it would be a blocked duct). They were concerned and sent someone out that day to clear the dryer duct at no extra charge! I was very impressed and then Dan did a great job when he came back to do the whole house. He was very polite, considerate, professional and efficient. The customer service was great. We will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

Not sure where these old 5 star reviews are coming from. I would like to rate this company and 0 star but I'm forced to give it a 1. I just had my carpets cleaned by total carpet care last week and I'm beyond disappointed. They did such a terrible job I'm debating ripping out the carpet and putting down laminate now. I called up the owner of total carpet care and never had such terrible customer service in my life. He wanted to do absolutely nothing to fix the mess they made. I'm very disappointed with total carpet care and wouldn't recommend anyone in the Kamloops area to use them.
