A nice little place to set up a tent. Interesting elevated deck platforms for placing the tents. We were up near the solstice and the sun did not set while we were there.

For the traveller passing through this is the camp spot to try to get into. Easy walking distance from downtown and is maintained well and the tent platforms are VERY nice if needed.

A clean place to stay. I wouldn't agree that it's secure, since the fence does not enclose the place, only blocks the view from the tent decks. In fact there is a worn foot path into the campground going right around the fence and past all the tent deck sites. But they do secure the place by locking all the bathrooms, laundry, and showers after 9ish. So that's very convenient to track down the one person working there just to use the john. At least she was usually nearby the bathrooms working on them most of the time we were there. Still, a pretty location right on the water, and in town. A baby bald eagle landed on a telephone pole right over our tents in the morning.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Rudest staff we've met - hung up on us when we rang ahead. Worst showers I've experienced and we've been on the road since Vancouver. You have to press a nob every 10 seconds for water and it's luke warm at best. Instructions to turn the nob to adjust water temperature - doesn't work. Dirty bathrooms are freezing cold. I was shivering the whole time. If eagle plains in the middle of no where can manage hot showers in heated bathrooms, this place has no excuse. Only one of the 2 showers was working. The RV ground was so slanted we could hardly function and there's only a power hook up with a common single water and sanidump.

Place to rest and set up camp. Some sites have electricity. No sites have water. Shared water and sanitation dump at the front area. Laundry and washrooms and the front area.

Clean, nice campsites... Not too buggy compared to the other stops on the dempster. The showers are worth every penny after that drive. Tenting sites T1-T6 are walk in sites and don't have space for vehicles... Awesome caretakers took care of us and put us in a regular site without any hassle.

Absolutely the worst campground experience I’ve ever had. Awful facilities with no hot water. I was told that day use for showers was $5 so I gave my card to the employee but when I got out found out that I was charged $23.75 without even being told. In the US we call this false advertisement and most establishments will work to correct this wrong but the owners at this place wanted no part of making amends and forced me to pay the absurd charge. Do not give your business to this preposterous bogus business.

Laundry! After 7 days of camping along the Dempster, the laundry and shower were amazing! Get site 10 if you can! And bring bug spray. Staff is awesome.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. Has all the amenities you need. The lady at the check in was incredibly helpful and was much appreciated. Inuvik isn't a hot spot for RV camping but the site is well maintained, clean bathrooms and showers and a well set up sani-dump

This is a great little campground considering it is right downtown. The sites have more privacy than I would have expected. The bathrooms are clean and heated. The water for the showers is piping hot. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience.

I am not from land of maple. So this review will have no bias. From where I come we have much cold winters and much cold summers, my wife last year was killed by a gobi bear trying to save my child from harsh flood that destroyed my village and compered to valley happy it was far more happy, happy valley is so not the happy that you will want the gobi bear to kill you and your child next time. Never come to valley park happy the workers at park are pure evil, while I try to claim kill on local large deer heard they spray magic pain spray at me so I miss my shot, if you ever visit workers are very weak with small baby muscles they have large fur cloth to make fake muscle. Valley of happy is more like Happy not valley of, many thank good bye.
