Clean place .. Friendly staff .. And I've been coming here every week since I moved to Hamilton April 2019 .. I wanted to try another laundry in downtown because it was bigger and uses cards instead of coins .. I went back to my regular one immediately without thinking .. Big clean organized places are worthless if staff is rude and not welcoming .. Laundromats are not only for washing clothes .. They're places were you meet nice people and social environments that make you want to come again .. .. Hamilton coin laundry is the right place for me .. and for many people obviously ..

Hamilton Coin Laundry is everything you need in a laundry mat. It has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the owner was quick to greet us and ask if we needed any help. There is an abundance of soap, snacks, and other items available for purchase, and the cost of the washers and driers are very reasonable. They even have a television plus reading material to keep you occupied while waiting. I would definitely recommend Hamilton Laundry for anyone seeking clean clothes and a relaxing afternoon!

I had gone in to wash & dry my king comforter. No broken machines, and all were super clean and well taken care of. Facility is well maintained, super clean with a nice sitting area that I was able to connect to the WIFI and do some work from. Helpful & friendly staff. This is my go to place for all my laundry needs!

This gentleman came rushing outside to my car when he saw me struggling with all my bags of laundry I had carrying so many in at once it blew my mind and I had to open the door for him. He was very polite and humorous while giving me the 411 on all the quirks of operating their wonderful big new shiny machines. After some math he showed me a single load in one if thier machines worked out to about $1.60. The big dryers hold alot and dried my laundry in about 40 - 50 minutes but I had all my Jean's in them too.They have all different kinds of laundry soaps, softeners, bleach and fabric sheets that can be obtained from thier vending machine if there's no attendants there with the usual pops and snacks. There is also an ABM and a change making machine that even took my $20. I found this place to be very, very clean and smelled really very nice. There is good A/C while the old place I used to go to was so hot I thought I would pass out sometimes. There is a TV and a very good sounding stereo system that the gentleman would change the station or channel on if anyone asked. I learned from my friend who told me about this place that this particular gentlemans name is Johnny the maintenance man and he always goes well out his way stopping what ever he is doing while he flys around doing something or other always has the time to ask how we are doing, talking to us making us laugh while asking if he can help to us just to ask him. He is quite a well versed and intelligent gentleman also and I wonder if hes married lol. Seriously though next time I go in there and I certainly will be a regular from now on I may just ask him! If you ask me it's the best place in all Hamilton to do your laundry and certainly worth the drive. Keep up the good work Johnny I'll be seeing you sooner than you know lol!!! ;)

The staff is amazing, very friendly & helping. They offer triple & double loaders only that also accept toonies not just loonies & quarters. They also have a vending machine that offers a bunch and when the counter is open they for a cheap price offer liquid soaps, pods, dryer sheets, dryer beads and even large clear garbage bags. I left a load in the washer (was very busy & tired) I called in just in time the guy working was about to bag it up. Thankfully they are open even after staff leaves so I was able to dry my forgotten load.

You don't expect much of a laundromat, but Hamilton Coin Wash definitely went above and beyond my expectations. The store is clean and as are the machines. I had taken advantage of the coin wash only, but observed the wash and fold well on the premises, it appeared to be done well. The general washing machines are 3.00$ a load, which is standard, and the dryers are 25 cents for five minutes, but easily accommodate two loads. The Hamilton Coin Wash is now under new management and it appears that the new manager is looking to gain your business. If your looking for a laundromat, and your on the east mountain, there open 9am and last load is at 830pm.

Extremely rude customer service. By accident the emergency button was pressed because my bf didn't know that the laundry detergent can be added anytime. So the guy behind the counter gives attitude about how did you not know why did you press it. Was unhappy that I disturbed his conversation with his buddy on the phone. Then goes on with chatting away not offering any help. Then the machine started leaking and it's clearly creating a puddle...bf goes to get his help again attitude raising his voice and saying press the emergency button and is irritable that he was asked for help. Tells his friend sorry I'm gonna have to call back later finally comes to help and is irritated at me for not going to him for help. Worst laundromat I have been to (don't go to too many but still). Not returning again to be brushed away and given the cold shoulder.

We regularly go there to do our business laundry when Jonah the very polite helpful man in the baseball cap was there but today this big very loud obnoxious fellow was there in everyone's space upsetting us! People said he is the new owner and the place looked unclean smelling like paint thinner? The machine took our money but didn't work and this very vain guy said all the bottom dryers dont work either? I guess Jonah doesn't work there anymore because he always kept the place spotless and the machines running? My husband watched him work hard to turn that place around from the dirty dive it was. This guy should mind his own business and put change in the change machine not make us go to him at the counter ringing that annoying bell all the time. I am sorry to say that we won't be coming back anymore

Great place to go. The place is clean and the staff are helpful and great to talk to. Dry cleaning option is a bonus as well. Some food options in the plaza as well so you really can't go wrong if you need your laundry done.

Drove out of my way from Jarvis to visit this very clean and friendly laundromat. The double and triple load washing machines or a huge benefit. The dryers are massive they will take two loads from the washing machines. I used one dryer from one washer and it cost me about $2.50 per dry. The triple loaders are $5 and the double loaders are $4. From the time I walked in until the time I finished folding four loads of laundry took me 2 hours.The guy running the place, Johnny, is friendly. If my washing machine never breaks down again I will definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Amazingly great place...the staff(guess the owner) super great offering great assistance around. Very affordable prices too ($3.50 for double washer and $4.50 for triple washer. Drier 25 cents for 4 minutes). They have dry cleaning services too. Another thing, they have all types of laundry detergents, bleach and softeners for a dollar. My dirty laundry has found home....God Blessings. I give them 5 stars and add my own stars ** to make it 7 stars

I hadn't been to a laundromat in years and was concerned it might not be clean. When I called to get information the voice on the other end was very kind and professional. When I got there, he was pleasant and helpful and when I finished, he actually helped me load my several garbage bags into my trunk. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had to pop in a half hour before closing because my dryer decided to stop working. Incredibly clean, free wifi, tvs, and an extremely friendly owner! Reasonably priced with large sized washers and dryers. The previous great reviews are still an understatement on how nice this place is.

I don't do laundry at night first time. There is a sign on the door open 9am last load 8pm,so i had thought last load meant you can put in your laundry at 8 and no after. Well i was wrong he took my $20 with a happy smile and i steped out and came back with door closed lights out . I would like to know why when i came in at 8:05 pm and say I'm sorry but we are closing. Dryers are bad eats away your money and owner is late expect to wait . After this i will never go to this laundry facility again.

My girlfriend told me about this great place to do laundry and about the service from the Super nice man who works there. No sooner than I get my 5 bags of clothes out of my car Super laundry man appears in the parking lot greeting me with a wonderful compliment and the big smile I could see in his beautiful blue eyes! I am totally blown away at his banter and the way he whisked my laundry and me into his place right up to the huge shiny machines giving me the full tutorial and even a candy! I watched him put a machine back together then he dissapeared and returned dressed in nice clothes and a baseball cap too mop the floor. He is an angel making sure everyone was happily satisfied and his place is bright smelling like flowers. I recommend this place very highly and wish my husband was like him lol. Even when my washing machine is fixed I will still be coming back because it's just a real nice friendly place to be at. Thank you Superman, you made my day.

Of the laundry Mats in Hamilton, this is my favourite. It’s personable. The owner, along with the other man that works there is always so friendly and helpful with everything. They take pride in their work and your business is much respected and appreciated there. I won’t go anywhere else. I use the fold and dry service there to save myself time to run other errands. I rarely use laundromats, but I had some items that were too big to go in my machines at home. I'm so grateful I picked this laundromat to use. The gentleman working was so kind, friendly and helpful. I've used laundromats in the past without any employees working at them and zero chance of getting any help with anything. This place was impeccably clean, had great baskets on wheels, vending machine with snacks and drinks, tv (with a remote!), and wifi. AND the employee was so sweet, he saw me coming up to the storefront and rushed to open the door for me. Thank you so much for your acts of kindness! I wish all my customer service interactions were that good!!!
