Excellent customer service. Cleaning always ready when promised. Clothing is consistently cared for, cleaned using eco-friendly solvent free process, pressed and professionally packaged. Free delivery to and from home or work. It's always a pleasure to wear clothing freshly cleaned by Hamilton Cleaners. Clothes are returned looking and smelling like new! Would highly recommend! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my clothing.

Some terribly dishonest people working here, especially Lori who lied to me repeatedly, when they destroyed a $600 coat of mine earlier this year (shrinking it several sizes then tearing off and destroying the wood toggles). I used to live in Hamilton for many years, pains me to leave a bad review for a local business but people should know they're dealing with liars here. To give credit where it's due, I believe they typically do good work at this cleaner but if they ever damage something of yours, beware. Lori was very friendly all the while lying repeatedly to try and get them out of responsibility. Most dishonest customer service person I've ever dealt with. When I first discovered the damage they did to the coat, I wasn't even going to say anything until I noticed whoever did the damage attempted to cover it up by attempting to re-stitch one of the toggles back on (something the cleaner eventually admitted to doing). This coat had been dry-cleaned numerous times elsewhere with no issue, but I had been staying in town at a hotel who sent the coat to Hamilton Cleaners. Once I informed Hamilton Cleaners of the damage, I was put in contact with Lori and the lies began. I told her they had torn off and destroyed the toggles then tried to stitch one back on, she told me that was impossible because they've never attempted anything like that until consulting with a customer first. That turned out to be a lie. After bringing the coat back in, they fessed up to the damage when the cleaner admitted to doing it, and said they would repair the toggles. Lori's next lie came after she got cheap plastic toggles made to look like fake wood and claimed that she couldn't get wood toggles because "wood toggles aren't available anymore", which a simple google search proves is a lie. Next, Lori told me they couldn't give me a refund for the cleaning that ruined the coat because "their accountant wouldn't allow it"? Finally, she stalked my facebook page, found a three year old photo of me wearing the coat in dark lighting and tried to claim she could see the coat was already damaged and that I was the one lying! I then directed her to a recent photo of me wearing the coat, where she could see clearly the coat was fine before I brought it into them. Had they simply apologized for damaging the coat and handled it like any decent business would, that would of been fine. But to be deceitful about it, trying to cover up the damage, then lying repeatedly the way Lori did, is what made her and the whole ordeal so horrible. I tend not to leave reviews but was just so disgusted by how dishonestly this was handled.

My bridesmaid dress was ruined here. I brought in a midnight blue silk and velvet Vera Wang dress to be cleaned and hemmed. When I came in for the alterations the colour was taken out of the silk all over the front and back of the gown. It looked as if someone took a stick of deoderant to it or kicked it around on a dirty floor. When I asked the staff about it they honestly didn't care and provided many excuses including that the dress was cheaply made.

I've been coming here for years. My first trip, I brought in a few items of clothes that I had stained in my washer with ink by washing a pen. They explained to me that since I had already dried the clothing it would be difficult to try and get the stains out but that they would do their best. I came back to pick the clothes up and the stains were GONE. I then made another laundry mistake and washed my fleece blanket with my favourite Lululemon sweater, collecting all these little white fluffs on my sweater. I brought it in to be dealt with, and they had all of them removed. They always take care of my standard dry cleaning as well. They're always honest and I've never left unhappy. Thanks again!!

Writing a review for a positive experience is hardly something I do. But I have to say that over the years and up until the present day, I am lucky to have Hamilton Cleaners for my cleaning. I travel very often and have to use other companies while abroad so I know the comparisons. Having a piece of clothing come back softer and more alive is a treat. Knowing that their washing is eco friendly is a bonus. The front staff are wonderful and it's nice knowing that this is a family business. It's not very often that you receive a shirt back with a couple of brand new buttons with them knowing full well that the buttons were not damaged due to their processes. I had a shirt with a couple of cracked buttons (lower part) and they replaced them without hesitation and at no cost. What service! I recommend Hamilton Cleaners to all friends and family.

Found this place based on google reviews. Even if it seems a little far for your dry cleaning needs, I would highly recommend. The staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful (I don't dry clean often). I had a total of 9 garments to get done, including 2 suits, one of which was my wedding suit, and everything was done is a reasonable time and for under $90. Will definitely be a returning customer!

We trusted these guys most of my Wives clothes .These were exclusive hand made dresses bought solely from overseas.We were promised they would be looked as they were so called experts ??after so we reluctantly handed them over.When they were returned to us most of the dresses have been SHRUNK so badly that they will not fit her anymore so they are TOTALLY ruined .We have meeting with the HC rep who fail to see their mistake let alone take responsibilty . We even presented photographic proof of the dresses before and after to prove beyond doubt that her clothes have been shrunl after being returned Most of her collection is now ruined beyond repair we are so upset by this .I would NOT recommend this business at all DO NOT USE

I had one bad experience where they shrunk an unlined business type woman's jacket about one and half dress sizes. They would even entertain any likely of culpability. Because the jacket dimensions were not measured prior to them accepting it as an item to be dry cleaned, I had no proof of the sizing of the jacket pre-cleaning. I was most disappointed that they would even entertain the possibility that they could have shrunk the jacket. The jacket was clean but I can no longer wear it. They have cleaned other items for me (different type of fabric) and they were cleaned well.

Brought in a leather purse for cleaning, showed the customer service rep what needed to be cleaned. They assured it wouldn't be a problem. About 4 weeks after drop off they tell me its ready, wanted me to pay first but I asked to see the purse and it wasn't cleaned properly. They sent it back last week and they said they couldn't do anything. Still charging the full amount for attempting to clean it without success. Now I have to pay to pick it up. If they had let me know they couldn't get it done I would have stopped it.

In Appreciation of Great Quality I have been living abroad for over a year and a relocation unfortunately demands new relationships to be made that include car repair, doctor, dentist and even dry cleaner. I never truly appreciated how awesome the cleaning and service was at Hamilton Cleaners until I experienced a couple of companies abroad. Shirts were not pressed as nice and the attention to cleaning with a determination to get a stain out was simply not there. Seeing that I was returning to Hamilton for a couple of weeks I decided to bring my "cleaning" home. At Hamilton Cleaners there is still a note on file for me "Attention to Collars and Cuffs". I picked up the clothing just today and sure enough, the usual attention to collars and cuffs was tackled, stain removed and clothing softer than ever. If only I had a dry cleaners where I live that offered the same service and product!
