I recently brought three new pairs of pants to Mic Mac Tailors and was given an initial turnaround of three days. It turned out I needed one of the pants next day and they really stepped up, offering same day for the same price. Such great work, amazing quality and equal customer service. Mic Mac Tailors is the best in the city.

I'm 6 foot 8, most of the cloths I buy do not fit correctly. I have taken lots of item to this tailor shop, always very impressed. The last item was a hoody, they replaced the cuffs with longer ones, made other adjustments, the most amazing job. They really know what they are doing. I have gone to other tailors in the past, this tailor is by far best I've used.

Fixed multiple problems on many items at very reasonable prices and super fast! So pleased to’ve found them! And they also do dry cleaning, I read. Looked so long and hard for a place where you try on the pants and they make the hem pinning and found them after Years of searching! Hurrah!!

Took advantage of my husband asking for a small piece of material 12" x 6" to have some velcro sewn onto. I could have done this myself within minutes on my sewing machine. This was was overpriced and unreasonable considering how basic it was, and it only took minutes to complete. We will not use your service for anything else, or recommend with your high prices just because someone didn't know what's involved. ???????????? That's terrible customer service.

Pants hemmed, shirts brought in, a decade-old winter coat revived - all of it important work, done to ensure the lifespan of your cherished fabrics. Not only are the craftsmen and craftswomen here masterful both in consultation and execution, they're also direct and expedient. A tailor you can rely on ranks among the most important relationships one can have on hand at any given time, and I can't imagine a more formidable tailor in all of Halifax or Dartmouth.

I bought a very expensive Barbour Jacket and it didn't fit properly. After consulting with Mic Mac Tailors, they provided a few solutions to take the jacket in, provided a quote for their work, and took my number when we agreed on the path forward. Within a few days I had my newly tailored jacket that fit like a glove, without any sign of alterations. The price charged was the price quoted and the work was performed to the highest standard. I dropped off my travel backpack and a sweater on Friday the 9th of November. Each item had a tear in it, and they were not in places easily hidden or repaired. They gave me a projected cost for doing the repairs, and I left. They called back on Saturday to let me know they had finished, but I could not make it in until today. I am beyond impressed with the quality of work, the service, and the overall experience of working with the team at Micmac Tailors. Their work is excellent. Will certainly be back!

Great value for your tailoring. Having a family member that designs most of her own clothes, I've developed an eye for really good quality tailoring. I've only used Mic Mac Tailors for a few things so far, but will be going here a lot more often once I realised the reasonable prices for high quality alterations. It's so tough to find for men's clothes in this area, so I am quite happy to have been referred here.

I got a custom suit altered at Mic Mac Tailors after I lost 25 pounds. I was hesitant that it would not retain its perfect form and fit when i initially got it but to my surprise it fit like a brand new custom suit. This is the best tailor alteration I've ever had and i can say with confidence you won't find a better tailor in Halifax.

This is my go-to place for alterations! Especially happy with the work they do for hemming jeans, but I’ve had several other things done here as well. I do wish they had the same hours as the mall. If you are stopping by to drop off/pick up, remember that they are closed Saturday nights and Sundays. Other that that, I completley recommend!

Nice people and skillful, however the prices are quite high sometimes. There was once when I was given the option to pay first or after I came to pick up my item so I decided to pay first when I dropped off my item. When I came to pick it up, they asked me to pay again because there was no proof that I've already paid. I got into this huge argument with the owner. Other than that experience, most times were positive.

I melted the front of my North Face jacket on a wood stove and someone at MEC recommended I get it fixed here. I'm glad he did - they did a superb job fixing it! They sewed on a patch in such a way that it looked like it was part of the jacket design. The quality was excellent. While the repair wasn't cheap, it was good value for the amount of work required.

I needed last minute alterations to my bridesmaid dress that was frumpy as frumpy could be on me, after my sister had to cancel her wedding from last year due to covid. In the end, a dress I didnt even really like, fit like a glove. I felt beautiful and the dress was ready on time. They did not charge me a rush fee and I felt the fee was incredibly reasonable.
