The only good thing I can say about Service Master is that they came right over the next morning after my basement flooded on January 24 and got a dehumidifier going. After that, good luck getting a straight, timely and precise answer about anything. A three week job took over two months and it's still not done a month and a half after I signed off on it (now May 22). The new kitchen counter and bathroom vanity require the seam put around it (5 minute job for someone) and should have been done when things were installed in the first place. Mind you, I had the bill for the insurance deductible here within a couple of days after they finished, so they are quick at invoicing I guess. Sean said things just to talk and appease me I think. I was told one thing only to be told something different a week later. I was more than fair and did not complain, my bad in the long run. Even to save them time, I explained that a part of the wall needed to have a decrease in it for the toilet to fit, otherwise, I'm sure it would have been another week's work. If you do have the unfortunate luck of having to deal with them, I guess be annoying and demanding and things might work out for you! Good luck, I'll never use them again...

They don't teach how to make a homeowners insurance claims in school, so the angels created ServiceMaster Restore, (Fredericton). I was shown compassion, kindness & understanding during my recent insurance claim. I appreciated everything that ServiceMaster has done on my behalf. When Mike & Laura arrived at my home within an hour of my call to my insurance company & said they'll handle everything & restore my roof, I truly felt like I could exhale & leave it in their hands... Guess what? They handled everything!!! Your business card is on my fridge, I pray I'll never need it, but you'll certainly be my first call if I do. Best service EVER...

We highly recommend Chis Brown and the Staff at Fredericton ServiceMaster. A family run business that works hard , responds fast, and delivers professional services. Having worked with and used their services for over twenty years we can recommend them for all insurance and cleaning services. One of the things that has made a huge impression is their desire to help and support other local individuals(often employing them) , business , youth and teams. Many of these deeds are done without the community even being aware .They are a business making a real difference in the lives of Fredericton Residents.

Unfortunately for myself , my house had a major flood three years ago in my basement and last week I had a small fire in my basement as well ... but ... FORTUNATELY ServiceMaster had been assigned from my insurance company both times and this team does an amazing, spectacular, fast and professional job! They were very quick to get in contact as soon as they were notified of the incident and also began cleanup ASAP . They made the entire process of dealing with insurance, claims , and having an emergency that deals with your personal things, feel rest assured that it will be ok and they walk you through it all easily step by step, plus all the and cleaning is superb! I couldn’t be more happy and highly recommend !

REFUSE THIS COMPANY!!! our home burnt down and prior to this company coming in our adjuster and ourselves took pictures. They were NOT allowed to remove anything from our home except food.(which we had to rent a dumpster to rid of the food)???? Once they were finished and allowed back in we are now missing massive amounts of content. Kitchen aid and all attachments (gone) Our 3rd laptop (gone) All of our winter boots and runners including 2 pairs of Baffin mens boots (gone) Tools, tool box (they said it was melted but yet in the pictures we have its clearly not melted, even clothing is gone. I can keep writing out this list but I'm sure you see where I am going with this. We were to trust in this company with what was left of our home only to be kicked in the gutt again. So now we are left with how are we to "trust" this company with the job they did regarding our content. Talking to the manager and owner and we are told they never took anything out of the home but garbage, then we are told oh the Stanley tool box came to the office to get a be6look but it was melted, Then way out of context we are told the "Service Master " employees in the past have all taken polygraph test and have all passed? We feel robbed, we just lost our home to only have people steal on top of what we are going through. Dont get me wrong we are very grateful we were not home when the fire happened but no one has the right to steal from you then lie right to your face about it. Yes they were probably garbage (smoke damaged) but we should of had a say on certain things that may have been salvageable or atleast attempt to have clothing, boots etc cleaned. Angela

To bad I cant put half a star but anyways I will never have service master come do anything for me again its just been one problem after another with them, I had water damage in the downstairs of my house so they came and fixed it, in doing so they had to remove the bathroom toilet and after they were done I came to find out out they didn't put the toilet or sink and vanity back in the bathroom, so I called them they came and put the sink back after a week then called a plumber for the toilet, come to find out a few weeks later the toilet wasn't put on right or something it overflowed again, so I called them to come out and fix it since the new flooring and rugs got wet, and they came and "fixed it" put the dehumidifier hose in a small sink instead of the big one and a few hours later that overflowed yet again another mess and when i called them oh they couldn't come cause they were already here once so I had to clean up their mess.....bottom line if you want the job done right call someone else.

Restoration of finished basement. Preventative mould treatment. Inspection of all items and assessment of damaged items. Cleaning of area rugs, clothing,etc. All items cleaned before being returned.

My kitchen had water damage Sept 19 ,they came in to access the damage on Monday.That was quick but after that it was all down hill. My wife had to drive to their office to drop of the paperwork . Asked if they use a certain company to do the cupboards and counter the project manager stated no they have an agreement with a company as they get deals. Well he was caught in a lie in front of the vice president of servicemaster. Now I did all the leg work, got appraisal from the company they use and Kitchen creations. Guess what Kitchen Creations was less expensive better quality of work and customer service was excellent ,so I went with them. Had to call my insurance to find out what the amount they allowed for the work because I was getting no answers from the project manager , sent multiple emails to him about other things and he never responded.I had to drive to the office, well I know the amount that the insurance allowed and when I asked the project manager he gave me a lower amount ,he got caught in another lie and I told him the amount that was given then he questioned me on how did I get the info , I told him that since I was getting no answers from him I had to go to my insurance( which they are not to please with them right now). I just got an email from kitchen creations stating that they got the go ahead with the job. So now my kitchen cupboards and counters should be done by Nov 22. So to sum it up, my kitchen is starting to stink under the cupboards where the water went, have to keep javex in the cupboards . I have to use my own heater to dry up the basement and kitchen. I will be back once everything is done to update on the job. So for right now my opion is that I would never recommend this company.
