It was ok. I wasn't very impressed because the item that I bought was on a 20% off rack and there were several more there the same style. I was forced to pay full price because they said that item number wasn't listed on the sale, yet there were more than half a dozen of the same style on the 20% off rack. I have to say I was not impressed. If an employee is going to place items on a sale rack then it should be sold for the sale price.

Not very impressed with the staff at the Parry Sound store. I’m from Squamish BC and my family and I were at our cottage for the month of July. I bought swim shorts for my husband, along with a few other items and SPECIFICALLY asked if the shorts could be exchanged for something else if my husband didn’t like them because he is very picky with shorts. The guy said no problem and gave me an individual gift receipt for them. Fast forward to today and I tried to exchange them. I had my five year old girls with me and they couldn’t figure it out, finally told me I couldn’t return because of it being in a buy one, get one free deal and told me they couldn’t help me. I offered to just grab a different colour short in same style or a shirt in the same buy one get one free deal and they said they couldn’t figure it out and wouldn’t do it. I wish the person I had bought them off had said that and not given me a specific gift receipt for them!

Pros: got some carharts and some nice work gear. Awesome Cons: internet/P.O.S system was down/slow, so the whole purchasing part of this trip was incredibly slow (no biggie, things happen). What was really annoying, and worth reviewing about was the reciept situation: Normally not being given a paper reciept wouldnt bother me so much, i get it emailed reciepts, yada yada. But this being a "workwear" store, paper recipts should be given out regardless, many like me are using buisness cards and need the paper trail come year end. So not giving out a reciept, coupled with already annoying wait times with the P.O.S system caused an already bad situation to become a lot worse. (+-20 mins to checkout) Reciepts. Something to work on forsure guys.

Asked for help and was told the person that does boots was not in today, and they were not sure when their next shift was. So I guess I cannot buy boots until this one employee comes back to work. Very strange business practice at this location.

Horrible customer service. The employees talk very unprofessional about their coworkers and the job. Especially the manager and Patrick. Everytime I've been here they have no idea about their sales, policies, and returns. It's always a complete joke compared to other Mark's which have always been a delight. I'd rather order online or pay any other work stores extra just to avoid this place of chaos. There's only one girl in the whole store that always comes to save the day with her professionalism and knowledge of the job and unfortunately she isn't the manager.

Came in to return a pair of Caterpillar boots that had a defect on its 3M thinsulate lining. Associate denies me refund saying its well over 100 days even without calculating them. When I calculate 98 days infront of her, she asks me to wait for 10 mins as I did not have the receipt. I give the transaction details to her to track the receipt, I am asked to come back because the server is down. I come in later the same day after a few hours, the server, apparently is still down and I am asked to come later. The associate goes in to find physical copy of receipt, could not find it. I come in the next day, manager is standing right behind the desk. This time I have a digital copy of the receipt. The manager goes back in the office, brings in the receipt, refunds me the full amount. Well done Mrs. associate, I cant imagine what you do at work when your manager is not around.

this company has been nothing but rude and abusive to me . I was trying to solve an error that occurred in a refund situation and unfortunately i was met with abusive and out right rude staff because they did not know how to solve there mistake they became abusive and even when i asked for them to phone another store for manager assistance the manager from the other store was so rude and in the end hung up on me mid conversation i am very disappointed with this stores behavior and there lack of training to deal with this situation . they have accepted no responsibility and it took head office intervening to come to a viable conclusion to solve this issue . i thank head office and say shame on you store staff and your management team for treating a long standing customer this way i have recently pulled my accounts form these stores and advised all my staff and employees to avoid these locations at all costs i personally will never step foot in another marks location and this is unfortunate as i love the selection in products and until this incident had enjoyed speaking with the managers and staff at the 780 and 880 locations in kamloops bc . but they have done like every other failing customer service industry has and that is shown there true colors once put to a conflicting problem they could not solve due to poor training and in general a poor attitude this situation was resolved but again my relationship has been altered now due to this behavior and i will not subject my staff to having to deal this abusive behavior and again have recommended they use alternative stores to purchase there ppe and work attire . Hopefully this company can rectify these issues so they do not incur any more unhappy accounts that with not deem this as acceptable behavior shame on you 2 stores in kamloops north hills in kamloops and Aberdeen in kamloops

Was glancing around and noticed 3 young ladies leaning on clothes racks having a gossip. Left the lineup, approached them and sure enough all 3 worked in store. Not one employee asked if I needed any assistance. And they wonder why we shop online and not local.

Was planning to buy new pair of boots and socks which is supposed to be 30% off & 7.50 for 2 respectively. Apparently, the cashier did not know this and punched in the original SRP which was fine. However, once I said that the socks were 2 for 7.50, the staff basically didn't believe me and I had to go back and reassure to her that it is indeed at that price. Fine. Then, they tried changing it in the till to reflect said amount which took about 3 people to do it and I had to wait in line for 20 minutes. The "supervisor" then came and asked the cashier again infront of me if she was sure that it was really at a discounted rate. That's when I walked out. Instead of them finishing a customer's transaction, they were so fixated on adjusting the discounts on the till. PS: they could've just removed the 2nd pair of socks to which they already charged me 7.50 for the 1st quantity. But they had to fix their inventory infront of a long line of customers.

Marks has a great selection for women wear and men wear. You can get dressy and clothes for comfort. They have sales on a regular basis. You have a great amount of time allowed if you have problems with tbe piece of clothing or you decide you dont like it

They always have stock rolling in but you gotta act fast as it goes just as quick as it comes in. I couldn't find what I was looking for (out of stock) but knew more would be coming in. So to avoid compromise on what I wanted to get my brother's I decided to get them a gift card instead which was an awesome alternative as they can now get exactly what they want. Maybe even later when the season changes.

Had what I was looking for. Clean....ish Staff were brass and kinda rude to be honest. Meh .... it’s hard. If there was another Mark’s here I’d say something like, I’d rather not come to this location. I’m not that lucky. Small town, one mark’s ... funny thing is, as I started writing this review it was up to four stars. The more I type the more I see, how crummy this place is. Two stars. Maybe if the staff were friendlier it would have been three stars.

Had terrible customer service. Had to find a service agent, who was busy chatting to a coworker, and playing on his phone. Asked if they had a certain size in a winter boot, all he said was no and walked away before I had a chance to ask any other questions. It was like it was a complete bother to ask for help finding options.
