Great staff. We had a nice reception waiting when we got there. The room was great and very clean... Fairly close to downtown... Only a $10 cab ride so a great location with parking too. Definitely recommend.

The services were great and considering that the hotel is under renovations the staff are doing a wonderful job. The stay was not compromised by the renovations in the least.

Awesome experience overall, as usual. Not enough parking lot spaces. Had do not disturb sign on door, but was awoken before I needed to be by housekeeping banging on doors that did not and saying “Housekeeping “ in a loud voice. There has to be a quieter way...Love to see some decor updates.

Holiday Inn is a wonderful place to stay regardless of the reason why you are there - business or play. They have very welcoming and warm staff. The rooms are clean and very cozy. I will definitely go back again soon. :) Oh, and they have a great Valentine's day package as well.

Simply this hotel is very outdated. Pool closed too early when traveling with a group of kids. You certainly have much better hotel choices in St. John’s for the price we paid. Even as a group rate we could have stayed elsewhere with more modern amenities.

Our stay at Holiday Inn was a comfort right from the beginning. We thoroughly enjoyed the warm comfortable beds and the fact that our breakfast was included each morning with the price of our stay. The pool was a hit with the kids and I would definitely reccomend this hotel to others.

The room was fine. Beds are relatively soft but nothing special. Some things in the room didn't work properly but overall it was fine. Having the tassimo-style coffee maker was very convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was there for a weightlifting event and they kept all of the areas tidy as they could and us well stocked with ice water. Very nice.

Accommodated checking in early as one of us was ill. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Willing to help and assist. Room was large and had a wonderful view of Signal Hill. Everything was very clean. Had good breakfasts and a lunch and drinks in lounge. While there was construction going on outside you could not hear it in the room.

Great venue for a Xmas craft show even though its still under going renovations. The conference rooms were completed and provided a good space for the booths as well as cozy environment.

Been going to this Holiday Inn for many years. Convenient location and good restaurant. Staff is very attentive and helpful. If you are looking for a softer mattress then you will not have any issues sleeping. I like mine firmer. Same for pillow, way to soft. If you like a firm pillow like I do, ask the reception for one.

We were tucked away in Salon F. It was pleasant enough, but seemed as though the inn provided only the barest of necessities. Could have felt a little more hospitable had they been a little more generous.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. This experience, however, will be my last. My daughter saw a mouse. The bed sheets smelled like stinky armpits and there was a long fingernail stuck to it. On top of that, we blew a fuse (yes I know that could happen anywhere, but it just topped off the stay).

I booked direct from the website. The pool was closed for maintenance and there was substantial renovations happening. There was no mention of either of these on the website. My children were looking forward to the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great.

This hotel was chosen because it had a pool and free breakfast. I booked two rooms for two nights on August 13 & 14, 2021. When we checked in the hotel failed to inform us of any Covid related restrictions. We later found that pool bookings were required with only two people at a time and there were no bookings available. Breakfast consisted of orange juice and a snack bar in a bag with a small danish or cinnamon bun with no place to eat. No one entered the room to replenish the coffee or supply dry towels. The manager dismissed all my complaints due to Covid. However, Newfoundland has removed Covid restrictions and even masks are not required. I have never before published a negative hotel review but I have stayed in one star hotels that were better. The only good thing I can say is that the beds were comfortable.

Stayed for one night. Had some meetings nearby and I am familiar with this location. Cleaning and comfortable accommodations. Never got a chance to use the swimming pool or fitness center on this visit. Usually use the water slides and swimming pool when we visit.
