Good walk and hike to the light house

Great historical active archaeological area. There is a museum on the site as well. It is a great area to see and envision how the early 1600's settlement looked like. The early stone pier has been uncovered in recent years and the tides once again come right up to it. There are a few foundations uncovered as well. The guides are quite helpful and knowledgeable. With a short drive and a bit at a hike, the Ferryland Lighthouse is located here as well.

Ross Taggart

The guided tour was well reasonably priced and added details that we would not have known if we had just wandered around the site. The recovered artifacts added to the experience.
