The machines are great. Larger washers and dryers available for heavy blankets but run at about twice the price of a normal machine. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

$1.50 per dryer load, runs for 30min, so really $3.00 because those 1980 dryers are not drying anything in 30 minutes. Socks came out of washer exactly how they went in just wet (bleach or no bleach).

Local laundry mat with drop off service. Very friendly staff with reasonable rates. Between the two of us doing laundry once every two weeks, it costs us less than $40 a month to do laundry here. We do bring our own detergent and dryer sheets. If you use the drop off service there is an additional cost, but they folder it for you!

OH MY GOD!!! broken down washer and dryer signs on almost every machine. Lady told me to use the dryer she just used cause it was still time available and the guy came over and reset it! The hell its not your money in the machine!! Won't be returning

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. The old lady working here is as miserable as they come. I backpacked across the country from Victoria to st.johns and did my laundry here. There wasn’t a sole in the laundromat when my laundry was done. I asked if I could leave my bag in the corner for a couple of hours she was more than happy to refuse my request. It would be understandable if she was swamped with customers. But no she was just chainsmoking cigarettes and watching law and order. Yuck.

Wonderful experience using this laundromat. The establishment was clean and tidy, The staff were awesome - quick to help out both with their knowledge and also to pitch in physically. They were very friendly and treated you as if you were a longtime patron! Thanks!

Absolutely the best service, I highly recommend Avalon Laundry for all your laundry needs. Self serve, drop off, pick up service, even drop off of items to be dry cleaned. Fantastic staff that are friendly and go above and beyond, they will advise you on what you need. 3 sizes of washers, and dryers, it's no trouble bringing your oversize comforters to be done. You have the option to bring your own laundry detergent and fabric softener but they do have a full selection of products for sale. Plenty of seats available in a comfortable seating area, free wi-fi, big screen tv, you don't need to be bored while waiting on your laundry to finish, and the decor is beautiful, not the average cold, stark room of washers and dryers, theres even a machine with various drinks and snacks. Definitely a very pleasant experience, I will use Avalon Laundry for all my future laundry needs

Googled a laundry mat and came here to do my laundry. Drive 8 kms to a closed store and no signage in the window about being closed. Won't be returning there.
