I googled a place to clean my wedding dress and Riverbend Cleaners came up. I called them and they provided me a quote that was less than I was expecting, they even offered to pick it up from my house. The very next day a pleasant gentleman came to my door and picked up my dress. After he left I began to think this was too good to be true and I became convinced that I would likely never see my dress again... however, lo and behold, two weeks later I give them a call and they let me know it is all ready! They even offered to drop it off to me! My final charge ended up being less than the quoted price and my dress was squeaky clean. The bottom of my dress after my wedding was almost black with dirt and I was shocked at how good it looked after they cleaned it. I definitely would recommend this company.

They are amazing! I did a number on my wedding dress, it was covered in curry stains and grass stains and so I wasn't expecting miracles. However, they cleaned it completely and it is bright white again like the day I bought it. I highly recommend!

Absolutely the worst dry cleaner I’ve been to. Bought in four pieces a trench coat, suit and dress shirt. The trench coat is still stained and they've ruined the belt resulting in ruining the entire jacket. The suit and dress shirt are not pressed correctly at all. Worst experience I've ever had at a dry cleaner. Will never return.

Great Service and Very accommodating!! Called all over the city to have my Dad's suit dry cleaned last minute on a Saturday needed for the next day. All I can saw is WOW what amazing service and cleaning job. I sent my king comforter to be cleaned. The white had faded, there was a rip and snagged strings hanging off. When I unpacked it and put it on my bed. It looked brand new. The white details looked new again. They stitched the hole for me No charge, and also cut off all the little strings. I am extremely pleased with the work and would recommend to anyone. For such a small price they did an over and above job, did work I needed but didn’t request and did it for no charge. Thank you so much ! Will be back again and again.

Customers may be happy, but not so much the employees as the owner Nish uses them. She is a micro manager, user and true to emotionally blackmail employees her tittle as a owner to get her way. As business owners are cheep didn't even have a license to run boilers. Talk to employees through other employees and this place as a high turn over for employees. If you are looking at work, guarantee it will be for a short while.

Nish the owner, who is certainly more than a friendly and smiling face, took my gown with care and gave it their premium attention and care. Upon my return (in the timeliest manner), they returned it with a complimentary garmet bag and secured in a wonderful box, looking as beautiful as it did the day I took it home from the store. After googling and searching for a place to clean my wedding dress, I came across this place. I checked reviews, the website and went in store to see how it looked. The store was clean, neat and tidy. The people were friendly and helpful. The manager even called me to tell me about a promotion going on. I left my dress there and it was cleaned in about a week and a half, placed in an acid free box and tissue. I was shocked at how clean it had came and it looked brand new again. (My dress had a ton of crinoline, lace, and beads and it was so well taken care of) I highly recommend this place to get your bridal dress cleaned.

Brought in a $400 Black Michael Kors Wool Jacket to have cleaned, had a bit on stain the bottom and some lint/cat hair stuck to it. The first time I picked it up it was still pretty linty/hairy and still had the stain on it.. and the label on it was completely unreadable as black dye had run into it... I asked that the stain be removed and a better job on removing the hair as that’s the reason I brought it there in the first place and had just paid them $40.. I asked that they try to fix the label as it was an expensive name branded jacket and it doesn’t really mean much when you can’t even read the label anymore. They said I signed a waiver but they would try. I signed a waiver yes, but I was not informed that there was a possibility of this happening or never would have gone throug with dry cleaning it. Picked it up in slightly better shape but the label is still ruined. Will never go back here.

After reading reviews from all the dry cleaners in Edmonton, I chose Riverbend Cleaners to bring my wedding dress to be cleaned. Pearl was extremely helpful and I was more than impressed with the customer service I received as well as the results of the dry cleaning. My dress had numerous stains/marks and they managed to get everything out apart from one mark in the back. Pearl even gave my a discount and I was only charged approximately $200 (I was quoted $400 by two other dry cleaners in Vancouver). The service was also very timely; I dropped the dress off on a Sunday afternoon and Pearl called me on the following Tuesday to pick it up! I highly recommend this dry cleaners for anyone with a wedding gown or special garment.

Service was lovely and prompted & the price was right so I was hoping to love their work. However, after picking up my King sized UGG comforter I noticed that the stain (which originally prompted me to bring in the item) was still there. I check the slip attached to see if there was a memo about not being able to remove the stain , nothing. I looked closer and it appeared as if the stain wasn’t even faded, it had not been touched. I took some hot water and oxy clean to the fluffy comforter and viola- stain gone. Granted this is something I could have done myself to begin with but the blanket is about 3 months old now and I figured it could use a spring cleaning. I chalked it up to an honest mistake- it is a very large blanket. Upon further inspection I noticed that the comforter pattern which is created with the threading was ruined in 9 spots. The blanket had been so mishandled that the threading had ripped in 9 different spots that I could see. While I do enjoy spending money on the quality of items, I don’t normally get upset over materialistic things however this is still extremely disappointing to See an expensive 3 month old blanket loose it’s integrity over mishandling. I can’t speak to anything but this particular situation, I would say - don’t bring your comforter here if you value it’s quality.

The only reason I gave it one star cause it wouldn't let me give 0 stars. Since May have had three garments ruined by these people. They did not even tell me had to find out when I went to put the garments on, there is no quality control in this place. Worst Cleaners Ever.

Fantastic service! I was originally quoted August 12 for a garment that had a lot of beading, and required special handling. I ended up needing the item 3 days earlier, and they very graciously were able to accommodate my request. I was expecting to have to bring my item to another cleaner, or pay an extra fee for the speediness. I was pleasantly surprised!

I brought my wedding dress in for a fewvsmall alterations and a steam. I was told it would be done in a week and a half which would've been fantastic. But, I received a call 2 days later and it was done. Great job on tightening up the lace and belt. Looks fantastic!

I picked this place to have my wedding dress cleaned and preserved due to the great ratings. Overall, there was some communications issues with one of the newer staff (saying that my dress may have gotten lost), in which the owner of the business did end up contacting me to apologize and she mentioned that she will have a chat with that staff member. I was very happy with how the owner personally contacted me to apologize and seemed very sincere about the miscommunication issue. In regards to the dress, they cleaned and preserved it very nicely.

Riverbend Cleaners completely ruined the backing on my drapes. They took no responsibility for the damage and they did not even offer my a refund on my cleaning! I have since learned that most other cleaners will test a small portion of the fabric to ensure it is not damaged in the cleaning process. Riverbend Cleaners did not take this precaution. My drapes are completely damaged and will need to be replaced at an approximate cost of $1,200. Very poor service indeed!

I have been a very long time customer and have seen the customer service degrade in the last year or so. Staff are not friendly and are not trained to assess clothing and advise on what can be dry cleaned. Recently my clothes started to come back with a floral scent. I prefer my clothes to have no scent. I was not advised nor asked if this was something I desired. Sad to see this once great dry cleaning company degrade. Hopefully, they will address the issues. I will no longer be using there services.

I was going out of town and made the mistake of taking several summer shirts, jacket and pants there, all Armani and Versace. I should have tried their service with one shirt first. The staff is not trained at all with customer service or on processing garments. 1. I was shocked to see 8 long sleeve cotton shirts priced at $16.75 each. They were entered as sweaters and the lady said thats what they are in the computer. I finally convinced her to call the owner to confirm before she changed the price. 2. Got home and put on one of my shirts, it was put on the tensioning press and streteched way longer than my arms! Not just one, but ALL the cotton shirts. 3. I had asked them to soak my shirts and two of them came back with bleach marks. 4. I was charged for dry cleaning my black cotton dress shirt however it was clearly put on the shirt press with a shine on collars and cuffs. 5. Finally I had asked for no crease in my white pants and they came back with a hard crease. How many screw-up could you possibly have on your first and only visit? I went in twice to see the owner and left two phone messages. They are never there! I have pictures and receipts and will be filing a claim!
