Best pet shop in the area! Not only are the staff knowledgeable and friendly, they carry a huge variety of products that you wouldn't see anywhere else! Anything from Reptiles to Spiders and even Aquatic Plants! Not only will they take the time to help you get the most value out of your purchase but they work hard to ensure the success of your animals. This store has been a blessing to Kirkland Lake and area!

When you buy cat food and the sales sticker said $45.99 and when they ran it up it came to over $60. I told the clerk about the sale sticker, her & my bf went to look. They wouldnt honor the sale price then decided to explain that there is taxes. Will never shop there????

Just tried to exchange an item I bought last winter. True I don’t have the receipt but the item is in its original packaging with the original tag and this stores price tag. I didn’t want my $ back just to exchange item for a larger size to fit my dog. No way no how without a receipt. Lost a long time customer. I won’t be back.

It's difficult to find our dogs Merrick lamb and sweet potato. This outlet mostly has it in stock. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Staying open late is a huge bonus!

This store has a wide variety of supplies and food. They had a couple of kittens tonight, but sometimes have none, depending on if they have some from the local shelter. There were three fish and some (algae) for sale, plus lots of frozen rodents. I personally find this location has less than the frozen raw food than the one in Greenwood, but perhaps they will order it if you request it. Our dog loves it when we give her a bath here!

I called your store tonight and was told "open till 9 pm". I drive through a blizzard to get rabbit food, and get here at 7:50 pm. Store is all locked up. An hour to drive home and a hungry bunny. The only good thing about this store is the size. Staff is not knowledgeable at all and sometime very rude. They keep trying to push their home brand of food (PERFORMATRIN) that is over priced and only average food. Much better food out there for that price range. Acana, Orijen. Pets are in small cages "to small for them" without water or food. Not pleased with my visit to this store.

Employees no very little about proper care tequniques for animals as well as a lack of knowledge about the rules and regulations of owning a dog\licensing required in our city. Store has 3 products for fish other than tanks, very little equipment for anything but a dog or cat. Unhelpful in advice. Should be called dogvalu as 90% of products on the shelf are 20 different kinds of box brand foods, and very little holistic options, and NO RAW DIET OPTIONS I would reccomend any other pet store in fort st john as they have knowledgable and helpful staff. A WIDE range of products, and not a store full of staff who "like" animals! only "plus" about this store is that YOU can pay 10$ so YOU can wash your pet.

I went in on Sunday at around 5:00pm and brought my dog in to use the dog wash, I walk to the back and they have the whole place torn apart vacuuming and cleaning. I look confused and ask the lady working if we can still use the dog wash as it was only 5 and they close at 9. She says to me well I’m cleaning so could I give you a coupon for next time? I only get one day off a week so Sunday was the only day I could have washed my dog and that’s how the experience went. No I’m sorry, nothing. Just a coupon for a free dog wash when my dogs next wash was free anyways because of the reward program. It’s easy to say I was less then impressed with the customer service and the professionalism of the employees working.

Love the dog wash!! Perfect size and height of tub; shampoo, conditioner, and towels provided!! Also, the air dryer is very powerful which the pup is not a big fan of but it gets the job done pretty quick! Excellent value for what you pay, we will be returning regularly :)
