We've got the opinions of real people who know the services of Laundry Land (Laundry) near to the area of Churchill (Canada).
As of day this firm receives a rating of 3.6 out of 5 and that rating is based on 87 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is high, and it's based on a very large number of scores, so we may be pretty sure that the evaluation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are happy with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
Meh. Seemed a bit pricey. Pretty cramped inside
In my experience they are the best cleaners in Ottawa, they were able to remove very difficult stains from several items I put in for cleaning. I have been going to them for several years.
Clean. Easy. Nice people.
It's my second time at this laundromat locations. I've been to another laundromat not well taken care of ,will not name that place. Used number 6 dryer with about 5 pounds of clothing put the temperature setting on hot for 18 min. and was actually hot, had to put the setting to warm for the few remaining minutes.
I went there on a weekly basis when I lived nearby. One day the washing machine took all eight quarters and indicated I was short 25 cents. I went to the counter to mention it and the woman who owns the laundromat came to the machine with the key and counted the coins in the coin box to see if I was lying. She then added a quarter to activate the washer. I also notice that some upright washers do not fill with water in the rinse cycle. The clothes comes out slimy with soap. I told them and they said I used too much soap. The next time I stood there and watched the machine during each cycle. There was no water in the rinse cycle. The man came over and stopped the machine so I could move my clothes to another machine. I do not go there any more. They think that the customers are out there to cheat them but its the other way around.
Miss going here...
Lots of machines and free parking (stop by on your way for a coffee and make an adventure of it)
Tailoring services fairly quick, dryers are super fast.
Great service, at one time. Not anymore. Shirts are still damp, clothes are wrinkled. Do not use their wash and fold service not worth it
Clean and quick... never had a problem and I enjoy that they have a change machine
Double and triple load washers that do a great job cleaning and do it fast.
Not the best prices. But they're open late!
Basic laundry, does the work. However, the dryer could dry better (6 min each .50), and you only can choose the water temperature on the top loader washers.
Liars and kinda rude.. feel like I'm being watched the whole time. Very hot inside but!! More importantly they have a recycling box in the store that would suggest that they recycle all of the detergent bottles left by customers. If you think about a laundromat, I am sure you can only imagine how many laundry bottles they collect each day. However, I found them all in the big dumpster garbage can they have on the side of their building. I have taken pictures. For a Westboro environmentally friendly place they do not recycle and it's just not okay. They just want you to think they do. Don't go here anymore please
I travel often, it's part of my job. When I'm in Ottawa this has been my go-to place. Yesterday I went in and one of the dryers took four quarters and didn't add the time. When the lady came over to assist she asked me to feed the machine a fifth quarter to demonstrate the issue. After pushing the button a dozen times she begrudgingly admitted it was broken. However when I asked her for my five quarters back she began to argue with me and said she didn't have proof that I had put that many in the machine...five... There's an economy game changer. She even tried to haggle and offer me 50 cents! I told her that I was insulted and that she was being ridiculous, why would a well dressed woman with a nice car who just dropped $30 on the services need to lie about something so stupid?! It's the principle of the thing; I don't appreciate having my integrity questioned. Her colleague had to step in and process the refund. Then the older woman showed up and she and the first woman stared me down the whole time I was folding laundry, pointing and arguing. Wow. I'm no stranger to rudeness (I've used kijiji) but this took on a whole new meaning to the word. Having a thousand dollar jacket I guess isn't enough of a clue that one is not on a mission to rip off a laundromat by five whole shiny quarters. Guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere and they're gonna lose All MY big shiny quarters :p *sheesh* I just can't believe this even happened its so ridiculous.
The laundry facilities get the job done relatively quick for a decent price. It would be nice if there was more folding area.
Very friendly and reasonable!
Went here while my machine was broken. The owner lent me a quarter that I was missing. Machines were fast. What me can you ask for :)
I don't trust many dry cleaners, but I trust these guys. They also do good alterations at a fair price.
Staff is helpful and machines are kept clean. Great place for oversize duvets, comforters.....in extra large machines. Handy change machine right is located just as you enter on left.
Its a laundry mat. The machines worked and did the job. The price was like anywhere else.
Usually laundry places are dives. This one isn't. You don't feel cramped and it's not dirty.
It's a laundromat. It is what it is
pretty good. The washroom is a bit of a hole. But I go and get the job done. People haven't been mean to me like some of the reviews. But maybe I was lucky. Didn't mind it.
I been going to this place for years and I love it!
Good machines Good parking Good price
Had an absolutely horrible experience. The owner is extremely extremely rude. I would never ever step foot in this place ever again. Plenty of other laundromats with kind people working and better prices. Please stay away from this place!
Machines often are out of order. Staff are standoffish and small crowded space.
I just moved here and wanted to find a laundry mat that would be my ongoing place... I started to go here and I found that is wasn't as clean as I thought it was. I really don't want to give a bad review but when I was there I ended up seeing ants on the counters where you fold your clothes. They almost went on my towels... I quickly took my clothes and left. I almost took ants home... The dry cleaning service is okay but over priced.
Dirty old run down place
The first time I came here, the staffs were not very friendly but over time that changed; this place is the best place to do laundry.
Stay far away from this place unless you like getting disrespected and talked down to. Never quite seen a place that had such a childish and petulant group of people in charge of it. It's not just me either. You can scroll through the likely fake 5 star reviews and notice that there is a pattern of people complaining about the rudeness of the staff over here. They will ignore you, mock you, and talk about you in Chinese if they suspect you will not understand. Only cowards do that. There was a guy working in the back who was sarcastic and extremely unhelpful as well. He is literally a representation of how useless the employees of this establishment are. He ignored me and another customer when we were asking a few simple questions. The state of this place isn't much better. Washers are dirty, the dryers are overpriced, and the bathroom is terrible. Not recommended for anyone who is not interested in getting cussed out in Chinese by a group of elderly foreign women who have no respect for anyone or themselves.
Big machines for duvets and sleeping bags will cost you $9.00 in quarters. They do have a change machine. $2.50 gets you 30 minutes drying time. It's very hot in here so vacate to the air con Equator cafe next door if you have any money left.
We had to go here once when our washing machine was broken. The coin system on the machine was a bit confusing, but it's a laundromat, so there's not much to expect. Also fairly warm, but they have big fans going.
Plenty of machines for all you laundry.
This older coin laundry is actually really good. Laundry Land has been here for over 50 years and yes, it’s a little dated but they have huge machines and the lady who works here provided some sage advice on how to wash my down comforter. Is this a high class place? nope, but all the machines worked, the place was clean and well organized. It’s a cash only, no modern tap or credit cards, so bring bills or quarters. If you are washing super large items this is the place!
Clean and tidy. Helpful if you have questions.
This was the first laundromat I've ever been too. The ladies working there were super friendly and helpful. Lots of places to fold clothes. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Overall I enjoyed this experience a lot more than I was expecting to.
Expensive, dirty.
Not satisfied with the service they offer, they do the laundry on their own, so there is no more self service available and their price are higher than the normal fee, don't bother your self to go there is you're looking for self service laundry.
They also messed up my dry cleaning and pressing so often that I now go somewhere else. I simply used their wash and fold... but they managed to burn 3 pieces of clothing (simple wash not even dry clean - how do you do that???) Found another place for pressing.. now stuck to find another place for washing and waste my time
Been coming here for many years, the wash and fold service is great due to my busy sheduale and is always ready on the time they say..Fantastic service fantastic staff.
I used the wash and fold service twice and both times the result was great. Very clear, well folded with a neutral smell.
At this current time, they are a drop off only laundromat!!!!!!!!
Very friendly service and quick turnaround on drycleaing - Thank you
It's almost as good as lunch lady land at laundry land. One l short.
I've been coming to this place for my dry cleaning for 8 years now (and I live in Barrhaven). The prices are average, but they are open 7 days a week, and until 10 pm! The owners are lovely people.
Fast service, great price!
If you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all.
This place used to be great...but now they’re only open for laundry drop off which is overpriced and not worth it. It would be nice if we had a good laundromat option in the neighbourhood again.
Just picked up clothes that had been dry cleaned and quite honestly the lady behind the counter had to be as welcoming as a piece of 4 by 4. Most unpleasant attitude with fewer words and none existing facial expression
They don't provide a way to pay with bank cards, and they act like they don't even care ( She just told me, you need to go to the bank not even doing visual contact????)
I have gone to this laundromat for 4 years. The ladies here used to be friendly and helpful. Recently though, their customer service has dropped dramatically, to the point that they have become very rude. They seem to only care for the customer who drop their laundry off and their dry cleaning customers, not those who come in to wash their cloths themselves. I was waiting at a table, because my driers were almost done, and a lady who I know speaks English walked up to me, gave me a dirty look and pointed for me to move... All the other tables were open,so I moved but it was rude and unnecessary. Looking for another establishment
They make change if you need it. Machines are good, a little tricky to understand. The staff don't speak English very well. Hard to approach.
