I bring all our formal garments regularly to be dry-cleaned and we're very satisfied with the results. They also dry-clean our coats, comforters and sleeping bags. Super friendly service. They even save the "green" candies for our kids when we pick-up.

I'll get straight to the point: a couple years ago I took in a very expensive silk scarf to get cleaned. This scarf cost around $400. The woman working told me she could clean and press it without a problem. This was very important to me because I was selling it on eBay. When I got the scarf back everything seemed fine, but after I sent it away to the buyer, I was told the scarf had 2 pulls and flat, ruined hems. She was a collector and very scrutinous. I had to apologize profusely and offer her a partial refund. Bottom line.... DO NOT TAKE EXPENSIVE ITEMS TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL DRY CLEANERS!!

When I saw the earlier review regarding the silk scarf I was a little concerned but I live very close to them and I decided to risk it because I saw there were also very positive reviews and I was under a short time line to get a very important item looked after. Not only did they look after it right away when I explained the time constraint but they did so perfectly. I am giving them 5 stars because of their excellent customer service! They also told me they guarantee their work

I've been using 5 Star for the last 3 or 4 years. Never had any issues. My suits etc. have never been late, and they've always been able to turn them around quickly, when I needed it. For me, their name has held up true, as my experience there has been perfect.

Update July 3 2019: I emailed the owner back to get this resolved, it’s been 5 days now and no response. I brought my $250 Ralph Lauren comforter in to be cleaned. Upon pick up the employee informed me that it was melted resulting in a massive hole in the comforter. Upon contacting the owner he informed me that their policy is to give you $50 but would give me $100 because the comforter was only 4 years old and in good shape. I am beyond disgusted that they would not pay the replacement cost for my comforter. As they clearly did not follow the wash and dry instructions on the tag. I am unable to replace it for less than $300. I can not even get a cheap king size comforter for $100. This was the Vedder location in Chilliwack BC.

Awesome service! The staff there are amazing. Shawna and Diane are very helpful and so polite! Took a garment in that had a nasty stain. I was told that they would be more than happy to clean it for me. I was skeptical about them removing the stain, but my skepticism wasn't needed, they removed the stain! Thank you so much!

Took a jacket in to be dry cleaned that had a stain on the sleeve. Got it home realized it hadn’t even been cleaned. Still had the stain, covered in hair. Not happy will not go back
