I am appalled by this company, WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE COMPANY WALKS IN UNANNOUNCED INTO SOMEONE'S SUITE. Usually people confirm prior to entering a home or suite and announce themselves when they are in. The fact that neither of those were done is reason why I would never hire this company. How disrespectful and unprofessional. Invasion of privacy.

Colin Whittaker came to the place we live today. He accessed the Mold in the attic and informed me that the Mold in the attic would not effect the air in the living quarters of our home. He continually tried to play down the Mold, and said he wouldn’t go against the condo board because 40% of his work comes from condo boards. I explained to him that we have medical documents from our doctor stating that it is effecting our health, he argued that it can’t be. So I guess the granuloma on my lungs, mine and my son’s cough, my son’s rash, my husband’s stomach problems, which are all symptoms of Mold, don’t actually come from Mold. When I called the company about this, they kept dodging my questions, and focusing on the fact that I used the wrong word in one of my sentences. I Definitely would never use them.

Had a dishwasher leak and ruin a small area of carpet and underpadding. The repair estimate was EXTREMELY over the top. Said counters, paint, and floorboards needed replaced when they had zero damage. Was quoted at over $2500 and had another company repair the actual damaged areas for under $500. Do no recommend unless you want to be overcharged.

We recently had a leak at our apartment and it caused major damage to my ceiling and such. I was very stressed having to deal with that as we previously had the exact same thing happen months earlier. However, Blair turned the entire experience into a remarkable one. I have never been so impressed with someone’s customer service. I have to express how absolutely amazed I am at the work done by Blair. I have never experienced such incredible customer services. He went above and beyond our expectations. His work was super great and thorough however his customer service was remarkable. He took the time to update both my landlord and I every step of the way, from texts to phone calls. He made sure we knew exactly what was happening and how long it would take. Through all this, he made sure my cat was super comfortable. He went as far as to make her a little bed and buy her treats. He left my apartment in better condition than it was originally. Red Dot itself is a good company to work with, unfortunately when I had my attic (vermiculite) redone they subbed it out to a 3rd party, which was a nightmare, the 3rd party had to come back 3 times, they fell through my ceiling and littered the neighborhood with vermiculite. Red Dot for the most part made it right, but it took a long time.

Very friendly staff (5/5) Communicatiin (1/5) Responsiveness (5/5) Workmen are always very polite and tidy (5/5) Quality of work (3/5) - They left some paint marks on originally unaffected areas which they tried to rectify but they created new marks on other areas... I'm not the owner of the apartment which may have affected our communication - misleading and confusing. They don't inform us all. I understand they are responsible to inform anything to the owner but it's been stressful as a tenant. I'm also surprised to find out that the way it works seems to be that they don't check the quality of work. Instead, customers are the ones to report errors with photos which is time consuming from our point of view. I guess it saves their time. But I have to say they are fast to respond and try to rectify.
