As I said, getting the eavestroughs done was a *possible scope* item. After checking them, Luis confirmed it wasn't required and shared pictures on-site from his assessment. I Greatly Appreciated the Honesty, Integrity and Thoroughness. Luis took care of all our windows as well as the ceiling fan in our main room which is a high ceiling (~20'). From the time I spent on the phone setting things up to the work completed by Luis, I am Very Happy with how things were done. Professional, Friendly, High Quality of work. I'll definitely call Men In Kilts again.

First time we've had Men In Kilts come to our place to clean the windows and gutters and based on the finished product, it certainly won't be our last. Nick was fantastic. He was efficient and respectful. He washed every window by hand on ladder, as opposed to those other outfits that basically just spray the windows with your own water and claim some bogus special water treatment system. I honestly can't see using anyone else going forward and would not hesitate to recommend these guys.

Men in Kilts cleaned the exterior window surfaces and deck glass at our home. We've used them for several years. This time, after they left, we noticed some deficiencies. When we originally booked the service, we had to wait almost a month due to their being busy. When I called late in the afternoon to register my complaint that there were deficiencies, they arranged to have someone out the next morning. They arrived as promised, corrected the issues and were gone, remaining courteous the whole time. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how they are dealt with that helps define a company. I had a great experience with Men in Kilts, from the initial phone scheduling to the arrival of Adam the technician. Adam phoned 15 minutes prior to his arrival. When he arrived he was very professional and courteous. We discussed the exterior cleaning services that I wanted - gutter cleaning, window cleaning and vinyl siding cleaning. The price for each service was discussed prior to the commencement of cleaning and were very reasonable. Adam was extremely hardworking and cleaned for 3 hours. He even cleaned my front sidewalk that had a paint stain from an incident with a home handyman. When he was finished my dirty home was transformed into one that was sparkling and clean. I highly recommend Men in Kilts.

Carlo's took my new, white area rug away with a huge coffee stain on it to try and remove it. He worked on it for almost two weeks and called to keep me updated on how it was going. I am happy to report that the Customer Service representative for Men in Kilts, Mason, contacted me today to see if he could come to my residence to discuss the review below: Mason came over with a crew from Men in Kilts and not only repaired the vinyl siding but also did a complete analysis of the gutter problem to discover that the gutters were clean, and the problem was the downspouts which were not only incorrectly installed, but were leaking as well. He then referred me to a gutter company to fix the problem, and will have it done before the weekend. Thank you so much Mason, for listening when others wouldn't and admitted there are certain times the 48 hour warranty is not practical. Paid to clean gutters, wash windows and power/pressure wash vinyl siding. After recent downpour water poured over gutters and not into downspout. Called Men in Kilts and was told warranty only covered for 48 hours after service. Work done 8 weeks ago and it hadn't rained since. How can you check gutters with no rain? Told it would cost $175 for them to come out. Also vinyl siding had problems. A piece fell off under gutter not noticed until after 48 hours. All this work done 8 weeks ago. My name is Jack Rooksby. I am a 79 year old handicapped senior citizen.

First time customer - Noticed our gutters still had dirt build up in certain sections after they had “cleaned” them. After it rained I decided to email them as there was pooling water in a section of one of the gutters. Sent an email and pictures to the company and then quickly received a phone call saying they don’t clean the gutters fully (they only remove some of the debris as they do it by hand). As for the pooling water, I was told there was an alignment issue with my gutter and for me to keep an eye on it and have it fixed if it continues to be an issue. We’ve lived in our house for three years now and there’s not been a draining issue or pooling issue before. I got out on my ladder and removed the debris they left behind and now it’s draining perfectly. Can’t believe even after emailing them that I had to fix their work and still paid fully price for their services. Will not use this company again and would not recommend to others!

I have used Men in Kilts for both window cleaning, gutters and carpet cleaning for a number of years. I liked them because they were reliable, customer service oriented and did a good job-- until yesterday. My windows may be clean but they decimated my garden-- then left my deck covered in mud. Finally, as they were doing my inside window part of the cleaner's ladder fell off and landed on my chair marking it. I was prepared to overlook it when I sent the photos to their customer service they promptly called back and said someone would be here to clean it up today between 230p and 430p. I got a call at 5:18pm to say they were running behind; that they wouldn't be coming today after all-- I had rushed home to be there for 230 for them and had waited to do my shopping until later. I have decided that my business means nothing to Men in Kilts that they have no respect for their customers or their customers property and or time. They said they would clean it up today and did not show. They have no regard for their own word. I am sorry to let them go but I know I can find another reliable and hopefully respectful business to do this chore in future.

What I did not appreciate is having to call them halfway through my second appointment time slot while no one showed up to be told they are running late (I would have appreciated a call/email) and then cancelling completely. I was then told that they would reschedule with me. I never did hear back from them and at that point decided not to rebook. Rescheduling due to weather conditions is not a problem, but I wish there was better communication and follow up so that no ones time was wasted.

They recommended skipping the gutters this year, which I appreciate the honesty. I was very touched by this kindness. In June I called the Call Centre and got an appointment within a couple of weeks. The team showed up when they said they would. I confirmed with the lead what I wanted done and they started to work. I had to run out before they finished so unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to talk to the team when they were done. When I got home the first thing I noticed was how clean the outside of my house was. It just looked a lot brighter! The windows were perfect and all the sidewalks were clean as well. I recommend this company for the services they offer. From the first call to the call centre to the finished work my experience was great. Don’t hire these guys unless you want to be lied to and left without your job being done! These guys showed up today and had attitude when they came for no reason, told me that my price would be $150 more than what was quoted to me in an email and then when I told them I would call the office to confirm pricing they told me they were going outside and then left without telling me and didn’t do ANY WORK! Tried to call office to talk to a supervisor to figure out what happened and they don’t call back for 24-48 hours and don’t care that my windows don’t get done now before the cold weather is here! Super not okay and I’m very disappointed after altering my whole day to accommodate this work to be done. Not cool Men in Kilts!

I’ve been using this service for a few years and they typically do a great job. After today I probably won’t use them again. Today, they came to clean the gutters and the tech stood around doing nothing for the most part. Almost seemed like he was killing time. I told him I had a dog and to make sure the dog didn’t get out of the back yard…he finished his work and after he was done he didn’t let me know he had finished not to mention when I went to the back yard I found one of the gates was left wide open. Didn’t even have the courtesy to close the gate after knowing there was a pet in the vicinity. Will definitely be looking for someone else in the future.

I was pleased that the job was done earlier than originally booked. Job done on Friday as opposed to the following Monday. However, we were not given any notice ahead of time. Like an email or phone call advising of the change. Jesse the worker was very good. I did find it expensive. It was at the price quoted but the job took less than 30 minutes. Surely you can provide a discount for such a small job rather than a flat fee of $180. That is too much $$ for a short time and an easy job. I could probably rent or even buy a suitable ladder for less and then do the job myself. I would not then require your services in the future. So you may want to seriously consider amending your pricing structure
