We were in a really spot. We had a wedding the next day out of the city, and our cats had somehow magnates to get into our dressing beg, and completely cover our dress wear in cat hair. Thankfully Cameron was able to get our suit and dress done in a matter of hours; allowing us to leave the city on time so we are able to get the wedding one time.

Dolphin dry cleaner truly takes care of all my clothing that I send in to be cleaned. They treat everything as if it were their own clothes. I've been taking clothes to Dolphin for a few years now and have always had a good experience. Customer service is great and the employees are very friendly. Twice I've had items come back with stains that were not present before I had them cleaned, so they dry cleaned the items again for no charge. The turnaround is quick if you need it (2 days) at no charge.

DISCRIMINATORY AND ABUSIVE TO CUSTOMERS - STAY AWAY FROM HERE. They not only ruined my designer purse, the owner insulted me and talked down to me because he saw me as a "young girl who doesn't know anything". He called me names like spoiled brat who isn't getting her way and said the damage of my purse was my fault because I signed a disclaimer so I should've expected this to happen, and that if I didn't try to fix my purse by putting leather conditioner on it everything would've been fine. When I went to pick it up a second time after the business tried to fix it, my mom and her friend came with me. As soon as he saw them, he immediately accused my mom of looking at him wrong, made fun of me for not being able to stand up for myself and bringing my mom as "backup", and said if you want to fight, let's fight! And slapped his hands together. I've never be so appalled and mistreated in my life! I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody!

Was in town for a trip and needed to get clothes done fast for a meeting so in a couple of words for my review "BEST CLEANERS EVER" like no joke guys i went into the expecting to pay for a rush charge to get my suite done but know i spoke to kamran at the from desk and he said since i was i in a rush and that i was new in town he wouldn't charge me at all yeah 100% free i couldn't believe i goes Canadians are just that nice

BEST CLEANER EVER! A few weeks ago was my brother and new sister-in-law's wedding. During pictures downtown on a Saturday afternoon, she got some large dirt and grease stains on her dress prior to the wedding and reception which were to start in 1 hour. After calling nearly every dry cleaner in the entire city (more than 30), Dolphin was the only cleaner who was willing to drop everything and clean her dress while she was still wearing it. They did a fabulous job and we made the wedding with 15 minutes to spare. Most notable is that when we tried to pay for their services they refused our money as they just felt it was the right thing to do and did not want to take advantage of the situation. If you are looking for a cleaner in Calgary, look no further! You will not find a better business.

It's the first time I've ever walked into a dry cleaners where it doesn't smell like I would expect. Has none of that chemical smell when you come in the door. People are really nice and they do a great job with what feels like much less harsh processing. Staff are very accommodating to specific requests and they even do tailoring!

I had brought 3 designer dresses to this dry cleaner assuming these are professionals working on them especially given all the positive review posted on here. When I went to try them on, one of the dresses had shrunk so much I couldn’t squeeze my arms into it or cover my chest and also the structure of the material was not the same, and the other dress had lining showing. I had called them and scheduled a time to see their manager who stood me up for a meeting... they had then claimed to “restore” the dresses but nothing had changed when I went to pick them up the second time. I finally had met with their, I presume, owner who was actually quite pleasant to deal with and seemed to want to help. One of the dresses was in fact restored and the lining issue was resolved which I appreciate even though it took 4 trips to get that accomplished and the dress was treated 3 times, however one of the dresses is damaged beyond repair in my opinion, and had shrunk enough that I could never wear it outside again. My feedback over all that is than expensive items were damaged, it was acknowledge that they are at fault, they tried correcting the issue and were unable to repair one of the items, at which point it is revealed they carry no insurance and wouldn’t assist any further or provide any compensation other than refunding the cleaning fees. I will never use this dry cleaner again as this is not what I would expect when you let a professional care for your pricey possessions.

I found Dolphin Dry Cleaners in a Google search. Based upon the reviews I read and high star rating, I thought I'd give it a try. So what did I think after my first visit? 1) Incredibly clean and modern 2) Very welcoming and professional staff 3) Never a wait, even with other customers- I was greeted and assisted within moments of entering upon drop-off and pick-up 4) Items were ready on time and quickly retrieved (also great that the cleaning is done on-site) 5) I rarely need to have items dry cleaned, so I never recall how much it typically costs per item, but feel Dolphin likely charges current market rates. 6) If I'm going to pay for dry cleaning, it's worth paying (perhaps a bit more) for Dolphin's great, efficient service, use of an eco-friendly solvent and added benefit of having a charitable donation made and tree planted for each order.

I am extremely sensitive to chemicals (MCS), especially perfume. I went to Dolphin because they advertise that they are Eco-friendly. I believe they do use eco-friendly cleaning processes, but when my clothes arrived, I discovered that they had been packaged in blue plastic bags which are impregnated with some sort of perfume. My clothes reeked and when I brought them back to the cleaners, I explained that I was sensitive to this, and could they please either allow me to bring my own bag or that they not use the scented bags, nor store my clothes with other bags. I got a huge push-back from the clerk, who told me I should have told them beforehand (how could I know their bags were scented though) and no, I could not bring my own bag, and no, they could not store it separately, and no, they required me to pay for cleaning again (I refused) and that I was the only person who ever complained and why should they change their cleaning and storage processes, and generally the clerk was rude and angry, disbelieving my story. Perhaps I should have brought my medical disability papers in to enlighten her. In any case, I did receive my clothes back on time, on the date they specified, and they were stored separately without a bag. They were perfectly scent-less and I was very happy with the job. However, the clerk was still extremely sullen and angry with me. What kind of service is this? Fortunately, I found another dry-cleaning business which not only values my business, is extremely understanding of my illness and immediately offered special service. They are a small, family-run cleaner which also uses eco-friendly processes. I will never go back to Dolphin with that kind of service experience. --------- There is no way to respond to the owner's comments other than to add onto this comment, so I reiterate that the scent is on the INSIDE of the bag, not the outside, and all Glad garbage and laundry bags seem to have this scent inside. I noticed it with garbage bags in the grocery stores too. The clerk was otherwise very pleasant, but she simply did not believe me until I told her to open the bag and smell inside. The outside is perfectly fine. It's the inside. I paid for the original dry cleaning, happily, but did not pay for the repeat dry cleaning. I am satisfied with the job, but since my illness is not common in this severity, I run into this misunderstanding many, many times during the course of the week. I am also sure that this clerk is fantastic at her job. I would just appreciate being believed without a struggle when I politely ask for an arrangement that, in the end, was actually easy and completely accomplished. It's a bit of education and respect that I missed from her, and only in that one aspect.

Not only did they do an AMAZING job on my pilled sweaters that I thought I had ruined (seriously, they look new) but they also stayed open a bit past 5 when I called to say I was on my way! EDITED - Once the manager discovered my frustration, he tracked me down and made a huge effort to make "everything right". He went above and beyond to improve my experience with Dolphin. If I ever need dry cleaning services again I will definitely return. I've never used a dry cleaning service before but needed to because one of my dogs had an accident on my down comforter. I called dolphin and explained what I needed and was quoted $45 over the phone. I took the comforter in for cleaning, pointed out where the dog urine stains were, and got a pick up date for a week later. When I went in to pick my comforter up it took the girl 10 minutes to find it. She then rang me up and I was told my total was almost $60. I asked her to break down the charges because I had been quoted $45 over the phone. She said the cleaning was $55 not $45, plus they charged me a $3.00 heavy soil fee for the dog urine stain (which was never mentioned when I dropped the comforter off, and I had pointed out the dog urine stains). I told her that I was not pleased and I wouldn't be back. She took my information and was going to pass it along to a manager, but now 4 weeks later nobody has bothered to contact me. I was impressed by the size and tidiness of this location. In the spring of 2018, we used the services of this Dolphin Dry Cleaner based off of the great reviews. Sadly, I did not see any difference between this place and my "$20/pea coat go to" dry cleaner down town. For 1 ladies fall coat, 1 mens winter pea coat, and sewing of 1 pillowcase we were charged over $160. Pick-up/drop-off services were not added because we decided to drop off and pick up ourselves. The ladies coat and pillowcase originally cost the price charged to dry clean and sew. Why would anyone pay for dry cleaning or sewing if it cost just as much to clean/repair as it did to originally purchase brand new? Outrageous. I appreciate the cleanliness of this place, but that price is far to steep when I can pay a fraction for the exact same services elsewhere.

Good work, but slightly expensive. I had 2 sets of trousers that were only lightly worn dry cleaned here for a trial because my previous dry cleaner had retired. One set was a 30:70 wool-linen blend flat front summer casual. The other was a Drago tropical wool with pleats. Pro: Although I cannot speak to stain removal, the items came back in impeccable condition and without chalky feeling that you sometimes get with dry cleaning. The huge plus, though is that the pleats and creases were immaculately set. This is rarer to see than one might hope for. Con: Price. Regular service here costs what one might expect for 24h service at many other places. Final thought: some reviewers complaining about drycleaning shrinking or damaging their items would do well to know that not all drycleaning uses exactly the same processes. The swatch of fabric and spare buttons that come with your items are actually given to test if the chemicals will damage or alter the fabric. If you're unsure, bring them and ask to check first, otherwise it will be assumed that you know your item will be ok to be cleaned.

A friend's puppy peed on my brand new, albeit expensive, kind-size down duvet. I called Dolphin after a search for cleaners that use natural products (allergies). Not only did they assure me that the product they use is natural but I learnt that a new location had just opened on 17th Ave SW, a few blocks from my place AND they offered to stay open a few extra minutes so I could rush down there to drop it off. Nearing the weekend it seemed I wouldn’t get the duvet back for a few days at least but the next afternoon I received a message indicating that it was clean and ready for pickup! Upon inspection the duvet is clean/stain free and after several weeks sleeping with it, I can happily report that I’ve had no reactions to the product used to clean it. Dolphin dry cleaners are AMAZING! On our wedding day my newly wed bride ended up getting black stains all over the train of her dress while taking pictures. We called over 30 places with no success (On a Saturday). We finally called Dolphin who said they could help us get the dress cleaned while she was still wearing it. We quickly rushed to the North from downtown, they were able to clean the dress within 15 minutes and still allow us enough time to rush back to our ceremony. The staff is extremely kind, empathetic, hard working, sincere and genuine. They did not want any payment for helping us out in a time of need. I would like to thank all the staff at Dolphin for really making our wedding day memorable.

My boyfriend and I totally forgot that his suit needed to be dry cleaned for a wedding we recently went to and we were worried we wouldn't be able to get it done in time. We brought it here on Wednesday and told them the wedding was on Saturday. They originally told me they'd have it ready Friday afternoon, which I was okay with (even though we were leaving on Friday and the timing would be a little tight), but when I mentioned that, they told me I could pick it up the next day! Very happy with the efficient and friendly service, and the suit looked great!

Dolphin Dry Cleaners had the most competitive price (plus a sale on duvet cleaning) so I decided to give them a try. It was done the next day and they managed to get out a stain that I couldn't get out myself. Great customer service and I'm very pleased with how clean and soft they made my duvet! Customer service was amazing, they had it cleaned so promptly where other places would not accomodate for my mix up and short notice. Dolphin Cleaners is a superior laundry experience! I’ve been a dry-cleaning customer of Dolphin for several years. We recently tried the wash and roll service from Dolphin due to our washing machine being out of commission for over a month. The wash and roll service exceeded our expectations. We will continue to use the wash and roll service, as we're quite busy, and we've found it's a really great way to save time on chores. Dolphin will also answer any laundry questions you may have. I also love how Dolphin uses progressive, environmentally friendly techniques and products, and they encourage the return of reusable items such as hangers.
