Not gonna lie, I fell victim to the same idea that I was being wrongfully charged at first, but upon reading other reviews I see that its just... generally confusing. I definitely missed whatever signage there was. I'm curious as to why there's preauthorization here when I've never experienced that at other credit based car washes, but... oh well, I guess? I see based on another review response that new payment machines might be coming. Perhaps tap/debit might solve this problem for them, and I hope it does. Otherwise, its a perfectly fine car wash.

The staff is really helpful and nice. They have everything you will need; rags, car care products, wide range of car freshners, interior detailing sprays and a new carpet shampoo machine. It is my to go spot when I need to clean my car.

Standard coin-operated car wash. Each bay holds 2 cars, and you have the option of using coins or credit card. There's a foam brush and lots of settings on the water hose. The attached office has a change machine in case you only have bills. I'm subtracting one star as the vacuums really suck (not in the way you'd want a vacuum to suck) and they do absolutely nothing to get the dog hair out of my seats. My 18v handheld vacuum is actually better.

Worst customer service ever experienced in my life while he screamed at me while I tried swiping my card. Joke of a place. Husky a few blocks over is ten times better. If you want broken machines and rude service - this is the place to go.

Earlier this month I posted a critical review of this car wash. I received a very polite and respectful response from the owner which prompted me to take my unbelievably dirty vehicle to be washed. It was a very good experience. The bays are large and heated and very clean. The water pressure is great with lots of soap. The rinse cycle has good clean water leaving no residue. I am updating my review to five stars for this business which clearly has undergone some upgrades fairly recently. I will be back! Highly recommended.

This was the best place in Calgary until today. New electronic payment machine . 2 bucks and only soap. My little car is soaped in 45 seconds. 2 more bucks to rinse only, taking 30 seconds. 2 bucks more for wax, only. Was the machine malfunctioning? Still clean and the pressure does a pretty good job. I will "edit" as I cannot reply. One question for you. Once your pay your 2 bucks, can you ever change the water from soap to wax or rinse, or are you stuck with 2 full minutes of one or the other?

This is probably the first time I would ever write a review about a business. It's quite shameful to believe some certain people still carry hate in their blood. The owner of this business presents a possible hatred for people other than his race. That's my belief based on the treatment I have received. I made sure I used the facility numerous times to make sure I wasn't assuming. You walk in and not an atom of customer service not even a hi! Ask for change to have service done at his business and the I already could tell the chemistry of the man was off. I clearly ask him if there was an issue or if I did something wrong. He raises his voice loud and tells me business is good and I don't need to come back. Quite interesting to witness such tension. I don't recommend this place to no one. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE

Regular do it yourself type of car wash. I think this maybe the only one in the area as the lineup can be quite long when the slush has gone! But did the trick for a reasonable price and it’s easy to access. Didn’t spend much either to get it done

$2 minimum per cycle, so if you let the time run out and just need a bit more time you can't just put in $1. Very quick timer per each $2. I have been at other car washes where I get almost the same time for $1. Seemed even faster when using any function that used a soap product. First time here and last, absolutely awful.

I only go here because it's close to my home. But the owner either has a grudge against the world or he doesn't know how to smile. I've been going here for 1 year now and figured out how not to give this guy extra money. The minimum is now raised to $3 for 3 minutes, but using loonies and toonies is still the way to go. Don't use credit card unless you think they deserve the extra business. So.. First Take the brush down and lay it on the ground. Then Insert $3 while in soap mode. Spray your brush for 10 seconds to get rid of dirt on the brush so you can use it on your car. Then spray the rest of your car in soap mode for 2 minutes. Then switch to brush mode and start brushing your car. You should have approx 30 seconds left. Take as long as you like, even after the time runs out because your car will be well soaped. Make sure you brush your car well. Then, in Gloss Wax or rinse mode, insert $3 and rinse your car off. 3 minutes should be plenty time, as I have a Toyota Highlander. So there you go, $6 for a good car wash. If you like the owner, you can take longer and reward him with more business. Me? I'm not giving him a dollar extra until he learns to smile. - - edit.... My wife asked why I need a smile to wash my car....I just believe you do more business with people you like.

Update: Still close earlier than posted, and now more expensive. (unreliable hours, closed at 9:30 today, I came back with a second car right after washing my first one and found it closed) The also sneakily changed the time cost, the machines now always round UP to the nearest full dollar. It was charged in 25 cent increments up until recently. All prices are now in full dollar increments. (Your $5.25 wash is now $6.) They can say the bay prices haven't changed but you will pay more here almost every time now. I only come here occasionally because it's close to home, there are cheaper and more reliable options.

Great location on par pricewise great pre soak setting (green spray) wand is a bit hard to handle and the previous setting takes a bit to clear out the hose so careful after wax onto rinse not to hit your windows right away. Gets a great clean though which is ultimately the most important. Sore forearms aside

The car wash bays themselves are decent, good water pressure and seems like good products are used. The reason for 3 stars is the fact that 2 cars fit in each car bay which can be annoying. Also, the owner needs to learn some customer service etiquette. As others have mentioned, he is quite rude and nonchalant about having your business. Huge positive is this is one of the few hand wand wash bays in the downtown area.

Best car wash I've used. I love the continuous timer when you use a credit card, no fumbling with coins in between. The brush was in great shape and l super soft and the prewash removed all the tree sap! This car wash cleaned my vinyl wrapped fozzy better than any spot I've been to!

Great car wash in downtown! It’s very convenient and price fair. I usually take my car there out of rush hours. If it’s busy sometimes you get lightly warm water and small amount of soap, so choose the right time!

Nothing special about this car wash. Positives: lines aren't crazy and the machines take both coins and credit cards. Negatives: doors open using an awkward button system, and bays are for 2 cars at once, meaning the car in front could well make the car in the back wait to leave. Not much else to say. The car got cleaned... It's a car wash.

Unreal car wash. Since moving to Calgary I've been looking for a proper car wash and this is definitely the best one I've tried. Pressure is great and lots of space around the car to get around as well. Some of the other locations had very outdated washers and I felt the brushes at other places weren't well maintained either.

The worst car wash in downtown. I've been there 5 times and during the afternoon rush time the machines would not work for half of the times and they will not issue the refunds. Been there twice in the evening to wash the car when it's not busy and they were closed at 8.15pm and 8.30pm when the closing time says 9pm. I talked to the owner and he said we close when we want to and it wasn't busy today so we closed.

Been going here for years due to its convenience; but no more!! The last change in Mngt/Ownership has made this location WAY overpriced. (either in cost/min or with the quality of their products) Used to get vehicle spotless for $10-12, now can't even get it clean w/o timing out when using a CC. ($14 max/transaction). There are way better wash bay facilities within easy driving distance.

One of the better spots in the city for sure. I've never had a problem with any of the bays or machines. All the wands seem to be new and provide great pressure with hot water. Quality chemicals, always clean, brushes are of he correct type of materials. Vacuums work great too! With good staff and knowledgeable and friendly owner who is more than willing to show/tell you about types of soaps used and the workings of his bays, it's perfect spot to clean your car.

The car wash machine needs $2 start every time , I put $2 for raisin ,than only have one dollar coins, I put $1 for foam brush, it shows I have to put $1 again for starts, ok, fine, I put $1 again than garb the bush to clean my car and curiou why it has no foam comes out, after I check the machine I find out it ate my coins, and I only have one coin left , can't even start the machine to raisin my car !! I didn't notice if the is a coin change machine outside , but will not recommended this place to wash your car. They're some place havr real people there yo help you and only $1 start !!

OMG WOW Today I accidentally locked my keys and my phone inside my car while washing it. I went in to ask to use their phone and make a call and the owner immediately said no and then proceeded to phone a tow truck company to have my car towed "because he was losing business." Most of the stalls were unoccupied and the place wasn't even busy. Anyway, I ran home (which was thankfully only 2 blocks away) and thank god the apartment rental office was still open on a Saturday and able to let me into my apartment to get my spare key. I ran back down the street to the car wash and arrived literally as the tow truck that the owner had called was arriving to tow my car away. This whole ordeal only took 25 minutes start to finish. Then the tow truck driver started yelling at ME because he wasn't gonna get paid to impound my car. We've been long time customers of this car wash but WOW, that is the most brutal customer service I have ever experienced! The new owner is a horrible person. Wow. Good selection of air fresheners though.

Don't bother using these guys. They have a 15 minimum charge that you don't find out about until you see your credit card charged the next day. Not a great deal considering I only used 7 dollars worth of time. I would recommend putting a sign up in yoir washing bays or outside your washing bays saying this. It's the 21st century, most people don't use coins, especially in a pandemic. Will not use this business again as they charged me double than what showed up on the screen when I stopped using the washing bay. Edit: This is a car wash, not a hotel. Not sure why a credit card needs to be pre authorized with an amount that is charged and then held for 2-5 business days. Just charge the card for whatever the amount is used. 2nd edit: over two weeks on and they have still not refunded the difference. Very dishonest business practice.

For some reason my car never comes out clean after using this car wash. Other washes work just fine. I’ve seen others claim that there is low soap content in their lines, not sure if that’s true, but it would make sense. Waited for nearly 30 minutes today only to discover that the credit card function on the machines was down, I don’t carry cash but luckily had $4 on me and was able to attempt a wash. Waste of time. They could have at least put a sign up for credit card users indicating that the machines were down, rather than making people wait to find out. This might be my last time going to this car wash.

Biggest issue: wax and no-spot finish don't work on any bay, and haven't for months. Management is trying to save $$ by not refilling those items. Talked to them about it and they refunded my $ and said "don't come back". Don't worry, I won't.

10th & 10th has been my go-to car wash for years. The prices are reasonable, they have a lot of different cleaning options, allow credit card payment on the machines in the bay, and even have an upholstery cleaning setup that I intend to use soon. The pressure on the wand wash is always good. Having been to many car washes in the city, this one still remains at the top of my list.

Decent car wash, with warm water and good pressure. The price is higher than other car washes, and based on other reviews that is due to its location. I found the time to change between settings a bit long, wouldn't see soap for 20ish seconds after changing to soap. I found the prerinse did not do nearly as good as Shells wand wash on bug splatter. Two cars per bay is a bit annoying as you get accidentally sprayed or some water misting all over you. Overall a decent wash, but not worth a premium.

The quality of both the pre-soak and soap is excellent and the spot-free rinse doesn't leave residue. Their credit card payment system is very simple - you put your card in and it charges you in increments until you hit the button, and if don't hit the button you get charged for a full 15 minutes. Simple. Use your eyes and brains Calgarians! Update: Sadly their new credit card system would not work for me as I have tap disabled.

If using cash you pay $2 to start, if time runs out 'it will because it lasts as long as 2tv commercials' then it won't start again until you put $2 more in to start (have to add cash before time runs out). Such a low scummy sales tactic. Don't support these types of low end businesses.

Great car wash. The facilities are always clean, and the management and staff are friendly and helpful. The pre paid card is the best deal as you get free minutes the more you purchase You can also use a credit card or change. There is enough room for a regular pickup and a trailer, if the owner is there he'll help you get in and out.

Not only they charge more than average, but also they don't use hot water! car is still dusty after the wash if your not planning go use the crapy brush thats going to scratch your paint. also the stop button on the paying machine has no sign but a very small button. Some people will use the twist button which has a stop sign on it but it is nothing and not functioning at all. It will.keep charging you. Totally trash. never coming back

1st time visiting this evening, I had read the previous reviews and wasn’t sure what to make of it! But everything was perfect even down to the multiple options for cleaning my vehicle. I hadn’t change for the vacuum but the attendant In the onsite store was very helpful and changed money for me . Overall a great experience and definitely will be back !

This car wash is super convenient for downtown residents but note that it is more expensive than other car washes, likely due to its location. Understandable however. No complaints! If you don't might paying a bit extra, this is a decent car wash

BE VERY CAREFUL when using your Credit Card. you should all go back and check your credit cards statements after using this carwash cause there is a 15 $ preauthorized payment that you are not getting back even after pressing all the Stop buttons. I called the person at the car wash and he was very aggressive on the phone with no intension for any reimbursement. i suggest everyone should be checking their bank statements to make sure you are not being over charged. Following your comment : the Fact that you commented and you dont admit that your at fault, that is bad customer service. Actually i will come by and you will reimburse me my difference since you STOLE money from me. Plus you told me on phone that no one other than me made that mistake, after reading reading the reviews, I found out there are others complaining about your system. so you are stealing money from people.

Cheap bastards , if you use the option for soap you will see that there is 5% soap and 95 % water , I know everybody want to make money but not on my pocket ! Told the owner about this and he didn't care , I choose this one cause is the closest to my home :(

Poor service!! If you dont have change or tokens then there no point going to this car wash. I couldn't even get service. There a note on the door find me in the bay, there no were to get in, other then to wash your car. All i wanted to do is vacuum my car. Poor service. Don't go here
