Patricia was very nice and professional, I needed to hem a pair of pants and also needed a new zipper. Because they close early, I could not make it because of my work, she made a trip to my house and picked up my items and then she delivered them when they were done. I have never heard of anyone in this line of work doing this for their customers. She was very professional and also quick, I would recommend them 100%. I know I plan to use them again. Thank you .

I have lived in the area for 15 years and have tried almost all of the dry cleaners in the neighbourhood. The Clothespin is definitely the best! Patricia and her staff offer exceptional customer service and I have never had a problem. In addition, They offer bulk washing by the pound for those return from camp or end of cottage season bulk loads of laundry. The Clothespin also offers email receipts and email reminders when your items are ready. No more losing the receipt!

Personal and friendly service at the right price. I have been doing business with the Clothespin since it opened recently and have been extremely satisfied with their personal and friendly service when I am dropping off my dry cleaning and the same service when I am picking up my dry cleaning. Let me preface this review by stating I am not a regular reviewer, in fact this is my first. Upon receipt of my items this afternoon, I experienced a level of unprofessionalism that has compelled me to write this. Since moving to Oakville in 2016 I have been a loyal customer to this franchise, refusing to take my items elsewhere, sacrificing cost and convenience. We've had several relatively minor issues in the past (i.e. unexplained stains on shirts, a tear on my winter coat (again, unexplained...), etc.) where my concerns were met with a refusal to accept responsibility. I chalked this up to the cost of doing business and continued to visit this location weekly for 3+ years. Unfortunately, there comes a time with you have to hold the owners accountable and vote with you pocket book. On my recent visit, I was again met with a refusal to accept responsibility, as somehow this (they failed to repair my trousers... a simple alteration) was again my fault. There is a clear gap in communication between management and their staff. Sadly, I will NEVER return to this location and would encourage all others to read this review and take their business/dollars elsewhere. Perhaps, like all of us in service industry, one day this owner will realize that the customer is (for the most part) always right!

I came to Patricia for my wedding dress alteration, after getting a referral. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and craftsmanship I received. Throughout the entire process I felt very comfortable and each fitting was calm, relaxed and all my needs were addressed. Price-wise it was about average for a wedding dress, but the friendly service, cleanliness of the space and the quick turnaround made the difference. I would highly recommend the team at Clothespin! My washer has been broken for 3 weeks and counting and I contacted Patricia for help with a backlog of laundry and no fix in sight. It was causing stress. So happy with the service— 2 days, pickup and delivery - clothes are clean and don’t have a scent yet they smell clean at the same time. And the folding-Wow! I could get used to this service ! This is NOW (new owner) the best dry cleaners my husband and I have ever used! Every staff member from the owner to the seamstress is incredibly friendly and helpful. This shop does our cleaning and alterations as needed. Items are cleaned and pressed beyond our expectations and in a timely manner at a competitive price. We’ve been using the shop for years, but when new owner Patty took it over a couple years ago, she performed a beautiful facelift — fresh paint, new flooring, new signage, a whole new look! She is very eager to meet the needs of her customers, and her dedication is apparent in the way she runs her business. We love the email alerts so you always know the price to expect and when to come collect your order. Great shop with a staff that cares. Highly recommended.

Update: We received our duvet on the Saturday. They were very apologetic for not communicating better and gave us the cost of the cleaning for free. We really appreciate this amazing customer service and will definitely return. Disappointed. It has been 8 days since we dropped off our order. We dropped on a Friday at 5pm and were given a pick up date of Tuesday. When I went to pick up 2 days after actual ticket pick up date (Thursday) they replied “duvets take an extra day and a half usually”. I returned the following day and it still had not arrived. I was told it maybe will come in tonight at 6:30. I did not receive any emails or phone calls regarding delay and was not offered any sort compensation. We are disappointed as we chose this place based on amazing reviews.

Was looking up wash & fold in my area and came across The Clothespin. I was wowed by the reviews! So I loaded up and drove over and was immediately greeted by the very warm and welcoming Patricia. I was expecting a big ole coin up kinda place w a cold person behind a counter somewhere like back in the day. NOT the case! Super intimate, customer forward, very clean, nice looking and organized store! I instantly felt welcomed- Patricia is awesome. I have a winter coat that I recently purchased that has leather detailing that makes it super expensive to dry clean. When I purchased it, I didn't realize it smelled (body odour) and it permeated into my regular clothes. I tried everything and the smell didn't go away and decided to bite the bullet and just pay for dry cleaning to get the smell out (over $120 service due to the leather detailing). When I took it to the Clothespin, I told the owner my problem and she recommended just spot treating it with laundry detergent a few times. And it worked! I'm leaving a 5 start review for good customer service since she could have easily made a lot of money without solving my problem . She was honest and gave me a solution. Now I can happily wear my coat and stay warm! Customer service in great, can't speak about the service but I'm gonna assume good too just based off the customer service.

This is the only cleaning service I use for my clothes. They have consistently done an amazing job. They use email to notify you when your order is ready and have the quickest turnaround time I've experienced. Pricing is excellent and I’m always so pleased with the quality.
