Absolutely Terrible. First they tell me to come back a few days later after 6pm. I come the day after the day it was supposed to be ready and they haven't even done the work yet. Then I come a couple days later to pick up my $350.00 down hoodie that needed a new zipper and when I get it home I realized that all the stitching around the zipper area is loose and hanging off. I paid $65.00 for that? A five year old could do better. I normally go to best stitches upstairs in the Burlington mall but they were closed at the time. Best stitches is way way better. I will never go back to these idiots. BUYER BEWARE

Love this Burlington mall location! I go every year to get my daughters uniform stuff altered. Always very good craftsmanship and done in a timely and efficient manner. I ordered a dress online for a Christmas party and when it arrived a few days before the party I realized that it would need to be altered before I wore it. I googled 'alteration' services in Burlington and found 'Stitch It' in the mall but was worried that I was giving to little of a turn around time to have my dress altered in time. The ladies in the store were very kind and reassured me they could alter my dress and have it finished in less than 48 hours. All 3 of the ladies who were working were very kind and made me feel confident that I would have a dress to wear this Friday. I just called and my dress is ready to be picked up! My experience at this location was absolutely reprehensible. I could never imagine the poor excuse masquerading as service when I journeyed to this location for alterations to be performed on my lovely gown. However, the older lady working at this location was highly combative and hard of hearing, resulting in such dis-satisfaction that I shall search for an alternative. To add on to this, this employee raised her voice when I requested my right to speak to a manager. This combative act only served to sour my experience with the unqualified, inexperienced and ill-mannered employee. I solemnly swear to never again visit this location, and shall search for a different alteration service for my lovely attire.

Came into this location May 14th to have 3 t shirts tapered and the sides brought in, also brought a pair of jeans to have tapered towards the bottom of the leg. Was told on my receipt to come back Friday, May 24th (unusual considering the company policy states that it will take maximum 48 hours), however, I obliged. Came back today, May 24th, to pick up all 4 of my items only to be told that they had not even been started yet. I was asked when the latest possible time I could pick them up today was and I told them I'd come tomorrow because I did not want them to rush seeing as the 3 shirts are relatively expensive. Im very disappointed to know that in the 10 days in between my drop off time, and pick up time, they have not even STARTED 1 of my pieces of clothing and will now attempt to work on all 4 in the next 24 hours in order to have them done. I will never come back to this location, clearly they have bitten off more than they can chew and are now backlogged with customers' clothing.

My husband and I received wonderful customer service from Hana at Stitch It Burlington Mall. We brought jeans for him (hemming) and an oversized work uniform (a lot of alterations) for me. Vest now fits perfectly and length on other items is perfect too. While Hana was helping us, someone else kindly stitched up one hem that had fallen out of another pair of my dress pants. Had a really positive experience at the store. Brought in a pair of technical pants (sporting pants made from complex fabrics with internal gaiters and other features) to be shortened. Not a simple job as the shortening was not at the hem (that would have damaged the pants) but in the middle. Once I explained what I was trying to achieve, the seamstress came up with a better way of doing it; and the work was done in 3 days at X-mas time. Work looks good. Looking forward to trying out the pants!

I usually go to stitch-it to get my pants hemmed and normally it would take a couple of days then I pick them up. Today I went in around 2:00 pm with two pairs of pants. I have never written a review on Google. But after the experience I had today at Stitch It in Burlington Mall, I had to. I walked in and there were 3 ladies working on alterations. I waited for about 2-3 mins without anyone looking up, so I said excuse me. Two of the ladies looked up and didn't say anything, just looked at me. So I said I would like to find out how much it would cost to take in these pair of pants ( I had the pants with me). The one girl got up and came over, and turned to the other lady and said how much. The other lady said I would have to see the pants. I said I have the pants right here. She said bring them over. The girl brought them over and the other lady said $25.00. I said, ok. She said try them on. So I went in, changed into the pants, came out and stood there for about 5 mins while the ladies talked about lottery tickets. The one lady said to me twice, Just a minute. Finally the first lady came over, I stood on the stool. Then she turned to the other lady again and said, how should I do this.....the other lady didn't bother getting up and just said, you can add an elastic or not I don't care......at that point, I said, Forget it. I'm not going to bother getting them done here. I changed and walked out. They were obviously not interested in having my business. I would not recommend anyone going in there. The Customer Service is Terrible. An added note. They are also more expensive than other places in Burlington. I usually go to Quick Stitch, but they were closed, so I thought I would try this place. Never Again.

Sorriya at Stitch It at Burlington Mall is a gem! Went in to get a tear in my jacket repaired, and walked out with a promised repaired jacket in two days PLUS two belts fixed with new holes (for FREE!!). Customer service here surpasses any other seamstress I've been to. Will be coming back.

Although there are other good reviews, my experience was not good at the Burlington Mall location. I brought in a NEW $400. winter coat with the price tag still on. It was in for a zipper replacement (my husband has early onset dementia and cannot handle a 2-way zipper). His new coat came back with a hole in it at the location of the zipper installation and VERY sloppy sewing of the lining. The work was shoddy, I will not be back. Although I was 'satisfied' with the repair of the hole (as much as one can be when the item was brand new), the lining sewing is still not sound/secure and I will have to go over it again with my own machine. Although the staff member offered a sincere apology I just can't bring myself to return based on this terribly disappointing experience.

Today, Hana, at the Stitch it in Burlington Centre saved me! My sons uniform pants for school needed to be hemmed, but he’s been wearing his shorts, so this momma forgot all about the pants. Well, I checked the weather and it’s supposed to go into the negatives this week. Oops. Brought my sons pants over around 1:30pm this afternoon, telling Hana that as quick as possible would be great, I got a call at 4pm, saying they were done! Thank you, Hana, for your very quick assistance and for being so pleasant to deal with. Excellent experience. Would definitely recommend!

First and last time. I have read another review with the same complaint, it seem this company is not punctuality the best attribute. Came into this location May 21st to have 6 t shirts hemmed, we agreed / receipt to come back May 24th (I told the lady that I was going to the beach on May 25th reason for that I needed on May 24th), in addition their fares are not cheap. Came back on the day agreed (May 24th), to pick up all and I was told that they had not even been started yet so, asked for my money back also, the t shirts were wrinkled and with the needles that they put on them. Really disappointing, waste of time, expensive fares, bad customer service even more they did not care about I really need them for my trip. NEVER....I will NEVER come back to this place !!!.
