When you’re working with Swan Laundry, you’re working with real people...who are really good at what they do! They managed to get crazy bad stains out of our items. My clinic uses Swan Laundry service for more than 10 years and from my experience for the past 8 months that I have been working here, I have never met anyone more hard working and fun to chat with than Jack and his team. Jack comes nearly everyday to pick up our laundry and returns with them clean the next day. The team makes sure our laundry is picked up on time and that the sheets are soft and pristine, each carefully packaged and separated from the rest of the laundry. They even offered to fix up some tears for little to no charge that weren't even their fault! Sometimes we have up to 8 garbage bag full of laundry that need to be done during our busiest season, but Swan gets them done the same week. If they are ever swamped it's probably because of us, sorry!

Absolutely amazing without fail every time! The consistency from start to finish is always there from the lovely smile you are greeted with to the best service you always receive. I've been going to them for the past 8 years every time I'm in Vancouver. Swan Laundry provides better service then any luxury hotel I stay at. They make traveling with 3 small children so much easier. The place is run by a lovely, genuine and kind family that welcomes you with open arms every time. Anything from my cashmeres to my leather pants, gowns, suits or blacks have always come back perfect! Thank you Swan Laundry for taking such great care of us over the years! You are the best!

I went to drop off my laundry, filled out the form and then asked how much it would cost. The guy told me it would be $75 per bag. I replied that that was rather expensive, he became rude so I left. Found a much better place on Davie Street cost me $26 in total for 2 bags.

The owner of the Swan Laundry came over while I decided if I wanted to leave my clothes to be cleaned. She was so aggressive about me leaving clothes to be cleaned that I simply could not agree to it. She told me to trust her, she's being really really nice. … Who actually thinks that someone needs help discerning what is nice and not nice? I told her no. I would not be leaving the clothes to be washed and dried. She then asked me about blankets … if I need blankets. Why would I want blankets? I was honest and told her that I'm not poor. She then turned the question into the idea that I could bring her blankets to wash, like singling out blankets to wash isn't weird enough as it is. At the end of the back and forth, she said, "see... (pulled down her face covering, and turned her head to the side so I could see her overly forced smile appear more easily) I'm smiling! Post Script: Swan Laundry is stuffy, messy, and weird if your good looking and they have never seen you before.

Amazing laundry and dry cleaning. The staff are wonderful and deeply knowledgeable. We bought a mattress pad off of Amazon that came in a tiny little package with instructions to wash before use. After a opening it poofed up to something ten times the size of our washer. Thankfully, Swan was able to clean it and we've been enjoying it since. Basically, if it's fabric and can be cleaned, these are the right folks!

Needed wash and fold service in Vancouver. Hotel price was insane, but Swan did same day pickup and delivery for far less. Everything came back neat in bags and ready to repack for the cruise. A great experience.

False Advertising, why list coin operated self service then when upon arrival tell me that they can only provide service for $40.00 per bag and then grumble my bags may have too many clothes. I can't begin to even say how awesome this place is. We were staying in Vancouver for our last week in Canada and we were given the # by our hotel. The day they were supposed to pick up it was pouring rain so they missed our pick up but oh boy did they make up for it. They came by the next day and picked it up in the AM and had it delivered by 7PM that same day. All our clothes was beautifully folded and tied with a pink ribbon. They took such good care of us and went above and beyond with their customer service. I cant thank them enough. She even left us a nice note on our bags saying have a nice trip back home. She's truly a GEM!!! Thank you so much again for taking care of us. Will recommend to anyone looking to get their clothes serviced.

Horrible horrible... Worst dry cleaners ever. Brought two suit jackets and suit pants.. costed me 40+ and nothing was done. Still smelled the same musty-ness going in. Then my wife brought a dress a romper, pant and blouse. The only thing that came back clean was the blouse and romper. Pant and dress looked like they didn't even clean them. They came back with the exact same stains.. and I paid 80+. They completely lost my business!! Never again!

Wonderful Experience, I went here last year after an "accident" at a makeup store. I ended up getting my new tan cashmere and wool coat swatched with about 6 different shades of lipstick from the shades Pink, Red, Blue and Purple. I called various other cleaners who pretty much told me there was no hope. I finally found Swan online and gave them a call. Super friendly woman, and her staff was excellent. They removed ALL of the stains. There is obviously still a little discoloration, but honestly. Its just a slightly darker tan and you cannnnnot notice at all unless you've been staring at my arm for an extended period of time. And even then, its so slight. Compared to the coloured mess it was before. I'll take it. I am so pleased with the service, she ended up writing me a note after I told her what happened at the makeup store. And, if I had any issues with them paying for my cleaning that they should call her. I didn't even mind paying, but that note made it just the cherry on top. It only cost me something like 30$ and believe me it was MORE then worth the price for the swiftness and removal of the stains. I will 100% come back again, and have told so many people about her wonderful service. If you have a stain, she will remove it! There isn't much worse then thickly coloured lipstick.

Don't go there unless you want to pay 10 x price a regular coin laundry shop would charge in Vancouver. Self-Serve is actually not allowed which is super annoying. Although there is nothing wrong for the owner to charge whatever they like, they should put a clear sign "Drop-Off Only" so people who just want a coin laundry won't bother to get in.

Originally wanted to give them a great review until we inspected our laundry. Some items clearly were not washed, they just were just folded. Some of my husbands shirts were ruined. Some had small holes that were never there before, and some had some sort of waxy stain marks that also were not there before we brought our items in. Brand new shirts wrecked. We paid 100$ for 2 bags of laundry only to have hundreds of dollars of clothing ruined. We also ended up with someone else’s track shorts. Lovely. Just what I didn’t need.

Carolyn, Jack and Malia are an outstanding family business. Friendly, punctual and quality of work is all a 10/10. Not to mention, their prices are extremely reasonable and comparable to what I was paying in North Burnaby prior to moving to downtown. Whether you've just moved to downtown, your former dry cleaner / tailor just isn't cutting it and/or you're looking try a new shop, I'd highly recommend you give Swan a try - you won't regret it ????!

I've been using Swan laundry for a decade. Through three owners and it has been fantastic through out. Carolyn and Jack the current owners are incredibly friendly as are all their staff. I have never had a problem with the service or the cleaning in all that time. The couple complaining about the customer service they received makes me question their motives, I have never seen anything but 'bend over backwards' service to me and anyone else I've seen them deal with

Over priced relative to other laundry services. Cheaper than a hotel, but at $65-75 per small bag… our family ended up spending an outrageous amount here. Make sure you know the pricing before dropping off!

I was skeptical and thinking that they would charge an arm and a leg and do a mediocre job. I called to enquire and it cost a flat fee of $50 in total for a pick up and delivery to a hotel (same day). $50 is the cost per bag. The only big bag we had on hand was the hotels own laundry bag which was ok in size. We got the laundry back at night and it was nicely folded, smelling nice, and there was a nice pink bow just to make it look a bit more visual. I have to say, they did a damn good job. But if I were to give a tip to whoever uses this service, BRING A GARBAGE BAG NEXT TIME AND USE THAT TO PUT ALL YOUR CLOTHES IN. It's a flat fee of $50 per bag so you will get your money's worth.

Had a great experience with Swan laundry. Was visiting Vancouver for several days in the middle of a much longer trip, and needed to get some laundry done. Hotel laundry valet service was exorbitant as usual, and we didn't want to take time away from sightseeing. Instead Swan picked up our laundry bag at our hotel and delivered it back the same day, all nicely folded and beautifully packaged. The cost (by the bag) was a fraction of what the hotel would have cost, and we got to spend time enjoying Vancouver instead of doing laundry. They were even able to have the charges included on our hotel invoice.

It does smell of dry cleaning but there's still old lint from my suit so they probably just left it out to soak the smell and folded it last second. edit: owner called me offering a redo

My boyfriend brought the owner all his clothes, he owns 30 jeans, 30 shirts, they ruined a good portion of it, they spilled oil or something on his favorite sweater, most of his pants lost color/are now faded, he has white shirts with black dots all over them. My boyfriend didnt post a review because he said the owner was nice but refused to admit they ruined his clothes, I told him people should know, nice owner or not. Nice owners, awful service and quality assurance, they ruined 20,000$ in clothes. Avoid like the plague if you have nice designer clothes. They ruinned Paul Smith clothes, Gucci, Louis Vutton, Helmut Lang, Belstaff, Helmut Lang.

For all my naive comrades who think you can stroll in and do your own washing here don't bother because although it's called a coin laundry it is actually a commercial laundry service and they want to charge $50.00 for 1 and a half bags of laundry so if you're looking for a self service laundry this is not for you.

As soon as they know we only wanted the coin operated machines they immediately lost interest and started talking to the next customer. I'm not convinced they actually do coin operated (apparently all full. An entire wall of them), so correct me if I'm wrong. After p*****g about trying to find a coin operated place, some info on one would have been helpful (first one we went to was temporarily closed due to fire). It's just rude to immediately start talking to the person after even if you can't help. Just say you can't!
