After coming here with about 9 loads of laundry I decided to NOT use the single machines at $3.50 & $5.50 per load!! We put our clothes to wash in the $11 "Maxi" and used 2 of the triple loaders @ $9 ea.....and still couldn't fit all. It should've been 10 loads at the most. I don't really care at the end of the day because nothing beats fresh clean laundry and it's nice to get it ALL done at once. The older gentleman was helpful putting my own soap in the machine because you're not allowed to do this yourself...but the glares from the employee with the shaved head and tattoos is really uncomfortable, I'm not entirely sure why she and the others are watching us like hawks... I feel like I'm intruding at a place of business I'm overpaying for....

Nice, clean laundromat. We recently tried Scrubby 's for the first time, when our apartment laundry room was out of commission. Everything went well.???? Plenty of washers and dryers, including some HUGE ones for big loads, comforters, bedding....that was appreciated too. Attendants keeping an eye on things, so you can safely leave for a short period of time, while wash is in progress. I had emailed the owner with a couple of questions prior to going there. I received a prompt, friendly reply. Staff at laundromat was pleasant and helpful too. Conveniently located on Burnside, close to the ReStore. Would return and would recommend.????

By far the best laundromat I've tried in Victoria among several. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and utilitarian. They have snacks and pop to help you while away the time and free internet. All machines are in working order and their equipment offers a range of sizes to accommodate small and large loads. They have nice hot dryers if you want to get things crispy dry. Can be busy on a weekend evening, but it's a nice place to mingle with your fellow city dwellers.

9.50 a load. clean but super expensive. Only staff operate the machines and won't let you load past halfway. EDIT: "4 loads" if you're going by European measurements. That thing was a double load at best. AND you refused to turn it on until I took out past half capacity. -1 star for lying.

It was the first time my wife and I needed to use a laundromat because our stuff would be too much for our own machines to handle. The staff were friendly and very helpful and clearly knew that we didn't know what we were doing. We'd go back there again when we need to. I liked the little seating area was clean and a tv was available with a channel guide along with children's books. Nice to see.

Been here 3 times now and absolutely love it! Always clean and very organized; the owners run a tight ship and it shows in the cleanliness and professionalism with how they conduct business. Machines always work and are always clean. Open 8-8pm parking is available free wifi and some food and snacks on site for sale. Place is awesome it’s almost more fun going out to do laundry than at home! ????????☺️

This is probably the best run laundromat in town. They have a dozen single loaders and three triple loaders, four quad loaders and two six loaders. Lots of dryers and everything works. Lots of chairs, TV, magazines, and always friendly hard working staff. They have a dry cleaning service (offsite) and will wash your clothes if you like. It costs $14.00 for a load, wash, dry and fold.

This place rocked and it was all because of the woman working there. She was working so hard I believed she owned the place. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The business as super clean, again, because of the woman working. It was very clean and welcoming. We felt like we could leave our laundry there while the machines went to town on my old man garments; however the dirt bag yelling at another customer made me take the precautionary side and I stayed and watched my stuff. The dirt bag can be seen in my last photo.

The BEST Laundromat in Victoria and area. There is nothing that really compares to it. Spacious and clean with new, tough equipment. The owners are kind, warm and professional. I hope they are reaping the benefits of their hard work. It is a joy to find Scrubby's after so many disappointing experiences at other laundro-lounges.

On each occasion the owner ...can't remember his name! ... was so helpful and friendly. He even remembered us from visiting the previous year. People are right about the friendly and informative staff! I love the wide variety of different sized washers. My boyfriend and I were struggling to find a place to wash our king size comforter. Their six loader washer does the trick for $14 and with $5 for the hour in the dryer, the comforter came out spotless like brand new; soft and toasty fluffy. Clean premises and cool inside when the weather's blistering hot outside. I've driven by the places many times for decades but never checked it out before, a definite go-to place for washing large items from now on!

Fantastic service from the second you walk in. All services offered and if you need any help or even just some laundry tips, they're very helpful. Plenty of well working, high capacity machines to use. TV and Wifi. Carts, Baskets and plenty of places to sit. Lasty there are washrooms available for customers. Im so glad I found this family-owned local gem! The prices are reasonable, the machines are kept clean, and the owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating. As a nurse I have laundry at least once a week and Scrubby’s is convenient with easy parking and great hours. They even allow my small dog (and other dogs) to socialize with customers and be by my side while I do laundry. Big selection of washers and dryers (never have to wait for one to free-up) and never overly stressful or busy. I’d recommend for sure!

I used to go to a laundromat much closer to my home and dreaded laundry days, but finally I tried going the extra distance to Scrubby's and now I actually find laundry days not just tolerable but even pleasant. The business and machines are always clean, work well, and are inexpensive. The service is always friendly, and you're a good distance from Tillicum or Uptown so it's easy to knock out other errands while you wait.

Clean, all machines in order, helpful staff, ample parking... machines ranging from single to six-loaders, put your stuff in and let the staff take it from there. If you are looking for a laundromat, this is the place! The building is clean and the staff are so friendly. We had to clean all our gear (a ridiculous amount of pillows, fabrics, blankets, etc,) after an event and Tricia was so supportive throughout the whole ordeal. It was a busy day for her trying to multi-task and help their customers but she always had a smile on her face and would assist us so we could keep things moving. She was an absolute gem! They better hang on to her! Someone with her organizational style, professionalism, and friendly demeanour does not stay long working at a job like this.

This place is a breath of fresh air. I needed to wash 3 duvets so went first to my regular place, the Coop carwash/laundromat on the Gorge [It's a tired place. They have 1 washer capable of cleaning duvets and it was broken - what a joke.] The closest place turned out to be Scrubby's. I'd never heard of it and was a bit skeptical because of the odd name. Turned out to be a VERY well equipped laundromat. Also spotless, lots of sorting table space and they even offered refreshments and Shaw WiFi. The place was surprisingly quiet even with lots of running machines, especially compared to the car wash mentioned above. And they had many machines (not just one) capable of doing duvets. The staff were friendly, helpful (gave good advice re: appropriate machine vs load size) and appeared on top of things. HIGHLY recommended.

Their drop-off service is consistently wonderful in more ways than I can possibly hope to state. Their turnaround time is often quite impressive, and in a pinch, they can work miracles. They're very good at dealing with special requests, and even remembering them! Everything is handled very well, and very professionally. Prices are extremely reasonable. And so on. Siobhan, in particular, is particularly warm, helpful, and reassuring. Trusting basically all of one's clothes to a stranger can be intimidating, especially if there's anything delicate or embarrassing, or if you just need to feel confident that you'll have them back in time for work the next day. Siobhan is friendly and professional in the right way to smooth out those worries, and to make a stressful or at least normally dreary interaction into a friendly and positive one. I look forward to my brief interactions with her; she's a delight. They'd be even better if they were 24 hours and, y'know, located across from my apartment building. Short of that, I can't imagine a better laundry drop-off experience, and the value-for-money is ridiculous. I wish they'd enable tipping on their payment system, because it's just ridiculous how little money it can cost to get all of my clothes washed, dried, and folded in keeping with all my various demands, in less than a day. A great service, and a great customer service experience, especially when Siobhan's working.

Great place to go do your laundry as everything comes out super clean even my drywall taping clothes that were caked in mud. They make sure you do not miss your final soap in for last wash on their machines. Very very friendly and kind owner/operators to interact with.

Love!y business and friendly and helpful staff. Large washers and dryers and small washers and dryers. Big spacious place with lots of room to move around in. Place is always spic n span clean. They have lots of extras also, such as, flatscreen TV with cable package and hot coffee and cold pop and juice and water, lots of magazines to read and a small play area for kids with books for them to read also and toys and free WiFi. I have done my laundry here for the past 5 years and I am really very happy with the service that I always get from the staff. The owners (Dennis and Diane) are very knowledgeable regarding the laundry business. They have a dry cleaning service also, but it is off site and in another pay off town.

I did 2 small loads of laundry. My wife went to go put them in a double dryer and was told to split it up into another machine. I had to go back to add more money to the 3rd dryer, and while I was in there I asked one of the owners why we couldn't put 2 small loads in one double dryer. He expressed that he was confused why his staff member would have made us do that and put a doller in the 3rd dryer for us. When we came back to collect the laundry we where confused how much the machines could actually hold so my wife asked the staff member if it would have been ok in one double dryer. The staff member was incredibly snarky with us, saying the other owner told her to tell us it was too much and that I came back 3 times because I wanted to fight with her.. I came back 3 times to make sure cloths would get dry! WASTE OF OUR TIME AND MONEY, and we still don't know how much any given staff member will let us put in a dryer. Also they watch you like a hawk. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

What a great place. It is clean and well organized. Siobhan was very helpful and knowledgable. I believe their prices are lower than Squeaky's on Shelbourne. I don't have much calling to use a laundromat so this experience was very positive.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. I tripped over a curb my very first time there, staff patched me up, got me an ice pack, elevated my leg, they were so great! It's the only laundromat we've used for 2 years. Have all laundry supplies if you need them, snacks & drinks. Follow Covid protocols & it will be so nice when you can use the working table & lounge area again!
