I have not been to a laundromat since I don't know when but recently visited the Payless Coin Laundry on 20th Street in New Westminster to do some large quilts and sleeping bags from summer and found it to be a very pleasant experience. This location was nothing like the horror stories I had heard about laundromats and opened my eyes to a new experience. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and welcome by owner Amy who clearly works very hard and is dedicated to her business and taking care of people. The machines were clean, fast and well priced and I found that within an hour I had accomplished loads that would have otherwise taken me all day at home. I greatly appreciate the pride Amy takes in her work and during my summer's day visit noted she is a very caring mother as I watched her interact with her special needs son who was enjoying a special visit of learning & helping his mother. I will continue to support Amy and other New Westminster small business who hold in their hearts a sense of Community in their daily interactions. Thank you Amy!!

I dropped my laundry off yesterday they said they could have it done today we're yesterday so I said today can I pick it up around 5 I showed up at 6 and the owner's daughter was sitting on her phone while my stuff was in the dryer tried but not folded. So she said it would take her about 20 minutes to fold it I came back half an hour later she still fully my laundry. So now I'm waiting outside for my stuff to be done an hour and a half late when I'm a busy man I will not be using their drop-off service anymore.

I have been going to Payless for several years and I have never been disappointed since Amy and Elmer have taken over.. The place is clean and they are so helpful and friendly.. I went over there today with my loads of laundry and a new comforter that I wanted to get dry cleaned (the tag said dry clean only to my dismay) I was ready to fork out the money(which I could barely afford) but Amy suggested that I used the delicate washer setting and the lower dryer setting instead of wasting my money on dry cleaning as she had washed similar ones that way with no problem.. I did what she recommended and it come out perfect! She is so knowledgeable and sweet and always wanting to help everyone.. Thank you Amy! I would recommend this place to any one looking for a good place to get there laundry done..

They have these new machines that function great while being extremely reasonably priced, and it helps that the staff would inform you of all the prices to figure out what works best for your needs! Impressive to see the front counter very organized and full of products available to purchase, including a full snack counter to pass time with!
