Male owner very sarcastic and rude. (This is a VERY common complaint, you'll notice.) Dresses like a homeless dishwasher. You can't miss the wannabe tough guy tattoos on his arms. One might think after all the complaints about his rudeness he might be able to change his behaviour, but I have serious doubts. He's too old, curmudgeonly, and detrimentally ignorant to be able to change his bad habits in order to keep customers. I will NEVER cross that threshold to give them my money again!

I had to wash my duvets and needed extra large size machines. This place had beautiful large capacity machines, was clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and went above to help.

In Victoria for 2 weeks while studying. This place was 4 mins from my AirBnB and it’s great! Very friendly and personal service - and it’s nice and clean. In the same mall as grocery store, coffee shop and liquor store too so all my errands done :) Happy to recommend.

Clean and modern laundromat with friendly, helpful staff. Clothes were done faster than other laundromats I've used and they came out much cleaner than the stinky laundromat in Langford. Well worth the short drive.

Nice staff... But holy smokes is it expensive!!! My washer at home died so I thought I would use their drop off/pick up service around my work day. $80 for TWO loads of laundry! Yikes. That said, it is nicely washed and folded... But I'd stick to washing your own unless you are made of money :)

Dropped in. A rare Sunday open dry cleaners. That’s the good. To clean, a leather jacket and silk t shirt. The bad. Brian, the owner of two island dry cleaning establishments, told my wife that no one on the island cleans leather as soon as she walked through the door. The silk t shirt was a problem, too, as he had to take it to his other establishment. No problem. 10 day turnaround. My wife was upset at his dismissive, rude tone. This in answer to some simple questions. He berated her for dropping the shirt through the plexiglass and not into a basket. Although marked, a simple ‘mistake’, easily and politely corrected. Time for hubby follow up as my wife was visibly upset, after a 60 second interaction. She’s not the upsetting kind. I’m good at a poker face. I asked him about the leather and he reiterated the story. His tone seemed agitated, I’m sure not to him, but… Anyway, then came the story about shipping off to his other store, replete with bellyaching about his lack of employees and ‘awful since Trudeau decided to give away free money.’ He was unmasked, BTW. Certainly not following his own rules, plastered all over the front windows. My wife and I were masked. So, a no, another no, 10 days, belligerent, anti Trudeau and unmasked. Avoid like the plague. A 1.30 second interaction! If you read my other Google reviews (172,000 views), you’ll see I’m fair and don’t exaggerate. I’m not exaggerating here.

Staff are not friendly. One staff member asked me what do you want now? When I approached him with a question. Very unprofessional. So the response they have given is ‘Are you sure you were in the right place?’ I guess I was not a valued customer! I can point him out and his physical description, would that help you believe me? He was tall and older. He looked like a nice human, until he made me feel like I had a disease. He was also white. I am not white... in fact I’m a very marginalized person and if you’d like I can file a human rights complaint. Why can’t you stop being so ignorant and train your staff to treat customers better! After I asked if the machine takes Loonies he said ‘NO’ It takes quarters in a very stern tone. Afterwards he went and used a black marker to scratch out the word loonies. There is definitely camera footage of this!! I even have proof. Act like the professional business you say you are!

Fantastic experience, I have been going once a week for a few weeks! Clean place, very helpful staff they explained how to use the machines and recommend the ones best for my needs, the have cold drinks while you wait that are inexpensive, I found their prices reasonable. Definitely will use them over other places any day ???????? thanks guys

I love this place, reduces my anxiety from doing laundry in my apartment building an risk meeting my neighbours! Not your typical dirty scummy place, this is how a laundromat should look and run. Staff is fun to chat with and very helpful. Ive used there carpet renting service, mailing services along with doing my own personal laundry here.

The king comforter I recently purchased unfortunately left blue dye on my white sheets. Couldn't return it as the company closed down so went to Avalon to see what they could do. The very pleasant attendant said she thought if she washed it in a huge machine with cold water, that it would "set" the color. She was right! Now have a comforter which looks like new and no longer stains the sheets. Thank you.

We have been using Avalon for over 15 years and I must say that the service provided there is fantastic! The staff is great and helpful. The machines they have in there are amazing! They clean so well! When we have a big wash we go there and the capacity of the machines go in different sizes... which is great. The store is always clean! I say 5 stars and more!

I live at Fort Victoria RV Park, and due to the covid-19pandemic, our common spaces, including laundry, is closed. I found Avalon cleanersto be open and I must say they are absolutely fantastic.they have a lot of procedures in place to ensure proper safety precautions are met. And the machines are fantastic, well-maintained, and economical. The barrel driver, for instance, took only one hour to dry three loads of clothing. Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

I'm here once a week to do my laundry. They have a large selection of newer machines that can accommodate the largest loads. It's always clean and tidy ... the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is good and the hours are convenient.

Used this place when the laundry machines at my apartment died. They have reasonable prices, both the washers and dryers hold a lot, and I got two weeks of laundry done in one trip. Bring at least $5 in quarters, and your own laundry detergent.

As the owner and operator I would like to comment on JazzyMuse Production Inc's comment. I am sorry if life has thrown you a curve ball. We do our best everyday to service the public. We are a huge part of this community and welcome anyone regardless of race, color, gender, age or sexual orientation. It offends me for you to use the "white" card. You do not know our back ground, you do not know that we are of mixed heritage. I did go back and view the security footage. Once again, we can not change how you received the message or what you felt it was. We can only wish that you have a better laundry experience at another laundromat.

The second largest machines don’t dilute bleach enough. Ruined all of my 2 week old bed linens and comforter. I’m very upset and fat chance I’ll be compensated. The Lady was very helpful but that won’t fix my linens.

I'm standing here right now waiting for my comforter to dry and your counter lady is raising voices with a customer against the Liberals. The customer was saying she was 96 cents over quality for quarterly GST rebates which is a lie. That's not how it works as CRA rounds numbers. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN HERE AGAIN.
