I have been using WINMAR Saskatoon to clean my sons smelly goalie gear for a few years now. They have an Esporta cleaning system that cleans, skates, pads, helmets and all the stinky gear. The price is very reasonable and the staff is friendly.

Last month my sewer backed up. I wasn’t familiar with WINMAR before but now I know they are awesome! Not only did they clean my basement and restore it back to how it was, they took care of all my important belongings. When the job was finished, they returned my belongings all folded and cleaned (and disinfected). I really appreciate how much time was spent taking care of my home and my valuables. They were in constant contact with me, providing me updates the whole way through. Thank you Winmar!

Do not deal with this company ever. They will lead you on telling you you have the job when in fact you don't. I had 2 of their estimators give me 2 jobs and they where both booked in materials all paid for. Came the day to start one of the jobs owner tells me have to phone them about me starting. So i phone them after 3 days i finally get a hold of the guy he says it's not my job now. I at least said you can pay for the materials i purchased for your job. He said that's my problem after we made a verbal agreement about this job for over the last 2 months. They did this twice to me. I finally had it with these people after the second time they did this to me. Also they will call you and say can you out bid the last bid from another guy who gave their bid too and show you his bid as well. looks like that's what they did to me as well. Stay away keep your money and don't waste a second of your life even talking to this outfit. They are a very shady run company and can't be trusted. Yes and I have the right company Saskatoon.

Bad experience, wouldn't finish the job, claimed that they came and no one opened the door, they would not answer my calls. something that would take two weeks took 2 months with them. I had to fire them and hire new people to get it right. I swear I'm surprised to see that they have one good review, I bet those are the people working there. Best part they ordered the skylight and wouldn't give us the right location to pick them up. Took a painful two weeks to finally have them go pick up the skylight. If it wasn't for my insurance company they would have ignored me.

I had an outstanding experience with WINMAR after my basement flooded. They were timely, professional, and also very kind! It was a stressful time, but they made the restoration part very easy. They also helped me connect to the right people when an additional plumbing problem was discovered. I highly recommend this business.

We had a bar constructed in our basement and after installation was complete, we found out that our tap handles were too tall for the cupboards above the kegerator. Moving the kegerator wasn’t an option so we thought about switching the tap handles. A friend said that Winmar could easily lift the cupboards and make our lives easy. We called and they were very responsive, came quicker than we expected, the team was very professional and efficient. We are very very happy with the outcome!! We had extensive water damage in our townhouse on two floors. Kelly and the rest of the Winmar staff have gone above and beyond from day one and I highly recommend their services. Winmar worked directly with SGI and our Property Manager on insurance requirements, the Winmar staff came to our house the day the incident occured to assess the damage, and the repairs began shortly after. Paul completed our ceiling repairs and he was professional, friendly, and a true delight to have in our home. The quality of the completed work left our house in better condition than what we originally had. I cannot speak more highly about this company and their exceptional customer service.

I had a very poor experience with Winmar. Initially, the project started off promising and I was happy with the people involved. The demolition crew was really good and provided very good advice. The individual that started the work in my basement was really good too. The issues began when the intial individual could not complete the work. For 3 days nobody showed up with no phone call from Winmar. After a week, I called Winmar to see what was happening. They had issues finding available resources to complete my basement so there were lots of phone calls when nobody showed up. I provided 7 days advance notice for flooring, they left a mess for me to clean up so the flooring could be installed. After the flooring was installed they subcontracted the work to another company and he did a bad job on the finishing work (painting over tape and wall hangers). When I contracted Winmar, they told me that they don't like to pull a guy off the project at the end. I think they paid the contractor a hard dollar amount to complete the work and they didn't want to spend any more money on the project. Even though I don't recommend Winmar, if you do go with them then make sure you have time to stay on top of their broken promises and poor workmanship.

I brought my blocker and trapper set to this place to get them cleaned up and I am impressed with the job they did. They were able to remove the stains and freshened them up nicely For those of you who are looking for a place to have your sporting equipment cleaned, take it to the guys. Thanks a lot Winmar!!

They also completed the project ahead of schedule which was greatly appreciated. The team at Winmar were wonderful to deal with. We are delighted with the service we received.

I had water damage in my suite in August which caused damage to flooring which caused mold to form. Part of the flooring was ripped out and treated. Winmar came in and ripped out remaining floor and baseboards. Baseboards were thrown out so I replaced to prevent delays. I then painted my whole suite. Winmar came in and moved the furniture so that the flooring people could come in and do their job. The flooring guys had to scrap paint off the sub-floor (Kilz for mold) in order to have the vinyl stick which took extra time and made the place extremely dusty and dirty. When the flooring was complete Winmar was to come in and put the baseboards back on and painted them they look great). But didn't clean up after themselves. They left garbage behind, didn't clean anything. January 28th I am finally back in my place but I had to sweep, wash floors and wash all of the walls to get rid of the dust. (Delays were due to Condo Association and Insurance Companies)

WINMAR totally nails it when it comes to property restoration. I've used them twice now with my rental properties after a garage fire, as well as a sewer backup. These things are never fun for the homeowner, but the crew at WINMAR walked me through the process from start to finish. On November 8, 2019 I found myself staring at 6” of water in the basement of our farm house. An incredibly tough and unforgettable first experience. Even though it was a long weekend and at a farm they came out and immediately removed the excess water. After an overnight ruptured valve on our water heater, Kelly Rapko provided us with invaluable, quick service in dealing with a significant water rupture. After cleanup, Winmar Saskatoon had an industrial fan on site first things the next morning. Being our reno was completed during the pandemic, it was the utmost importance to me to have trades adhering to the rules. Every single person Winmar has on staff from the demolition crew to the painter were outstanding. Polite, tidy, on time and masked at all times. Had a plastic fire in my trailer, sent Winmar the sgi estimate and they were supposed to get back to me that day. Called the next day and someone would call me as soon as they got in. A day and a half later and still nothing. Called Saskatoon Disaster and they are doing the work on Tuesday. If they didn't want the work or are to busy just say. Very poor business

I think it’s appropriate to pass along my thanks and appreciation for the work that Winmar put into rebuilding our garage. Winmar has a great carpenter on staff (Paul, I believe is his name), who has done an outstanding job and takes enormous pride in the workmanship that goes into a project like this. As an example, one that gave me a chuckle, he told me that the painters had done a poor job on the ceiling, and that he would be back the next day to apply another quote. I had to tell him that the poor painting workmanship was me and my wife, who had rushed on Sunday to put on a finish coat prior to them coming in to install the garage opener. The attention to that level of quality is something that Winmar should be proud of, and know that customers like us really appreciate it.

Kelly and his team were awesome. High level of professionalism and excellent work. When we bought our acreage the tack room in the barn had been filled with garbage by the previous owner, had mouse poop everywhere and smelled like cat urine. The WINMAR team cleaned up the room and got the smell out. Room is now useable and we are extremely happy. Would highly recommend for your property restoration needs.
