I had one pair of pants tailored here then I trusted them and gave them another pair to do so. He told me they were baggy and the pockets could get closer and i said i was okay with that but at the end the fit of the jeans was very bad and the stitching was unprofessional. The threads they used dont match, and the work overall was awful. They literally ruined my favorite pair of jeans. One of the girls who works there told me not to be worried and they would fix them as long as it would take but the owner wouldn't take responsibility and told me he has other stuff to do when i showed up for the fourth time to have my jeans fixed. I am not sure about the dry cleaning but if you have tailoring, don't go here.

When you're looking for a good competent dry cleaner, there isn't a lot you can use except hearsay and online reviews. I tried my luck with Florida Dry Cleaners a while ago and I'm only posting now because the owner threatened me if I left a bad review when this happened several months ago. I brought them an expensive tailored italian shirt and suit combo for cleaning. The suit was OK, but they sent me home without the shirt saying they needed more time to clean it. I came back several days later and they told me there was a problem with the shirt and that it was damaged, that they would try their best to fix it if I came back later. Well, I came back, and they finally told me they had given my $150 shirt to another customer... Following their advice, I waited a few more days to see if the customer would bring it back, but of course it didn't happen. When I went back with a proof of purchase to ask for compensation, the owner was the very embodiment of a snobby, sarcastic, nonchalant, double faced liar. He accused me of forging the receipt, that no shirt was worth that amount, called the tailor where I purchased it and lied to my face saying they don't sell shirts, he doubted my sincerity and bargained at every step of the process saying that it wasn't their fault or their problem. When I finally lost patience and started raising my voice and threatening to call the authorities, he finally caved in for a meager $40 cash in reparation after we argued that I would not accept a check from him. I left without paying, so I ended up greeting $20 more from the exchange. After the fact, it's easy to understand that he was trying to play for time during this whole process because you can only contest their service during a certain number of days before your concern is not receivable anymore. They had lied to me from day 1, trying to waste time and hope I would forget. This was my worst experience with a dry cleaner ever. Actually, it was and still is my worst experience with a business in Montréal ever. Never again will I set foot or recommend that business to anyone.

Went in to get my two sweaters and a scarf dry cleaned. The prices were reasonable and my clothes were cleaned in a really timely fashion! Will definitely go again the next time I need something dry cleaned.

My $150 sweater went in. It had a brownish tinge stain on the back. When it was returned to me it was shrunken and the brownish tinge was over the whole shirt. It's a completely different color and it no longer fits. I also discovered markings on a dress sleeve that had none going in. It was $120 and now two of my favourite items are ruined.

I am so dissatisfied! They do not care about you clothes, they just hungry for money. I checked my clothes just after I paid by cash upon pick up and it was my mistake. Instead of proper and careful cleaning and their original promises to make it better they actually cheated me. I got my things with degraded color from navy-blue to blue with spots of shades of magenta. They told me it is my problem and they are not responsible for that. They even did not get my money back. I did not ask for price of the item they damaged, just price I just paid. Instead of their apologies they began to scandal. Their service is at the level of middle ages epoch. It is the first time when I did not get my money back from service I was not satisfied. Moreover, now I need to throw out my clothes they "cleaned". Please avoid this location and do not trust them your things that are highly valued for you.

I'm staying away from this place after a very bad experience. I had asked them to put clean a bunch of shirts and put a patch on the elbows of one of my sweaters and a shirt. I did not check everything right after picking it up, but I found out later, when I was wearing the shirt, that there was no patch, but still the safety needle they had put in to mark it. I came back and pointed this out to them, but I was accused of putting the needle on a different shirt. Obviously, I could not "prove" that I hadn't, so I left. This is exactly the no-trust relationships I am trying to avoid with businesses, so that's it for me.

Allow me to provide some context. I called them about a half-hour before closing on a Saturday and I had a wedding Sunday. I had completely forgotten to get my suit dry cleaned and they (as well as any other dry cleaner I called) were closed on Sunday. I was panicking, as I really didn't know what to do. I told them my predicament and, even though they closed within a half-hour, they told me to get over there right away. I arrived about 15 minutes before closing and my entire suit was dry cleaned professionally and properly within 45 minutes. They only charged me the normal "rush" fee, which was very minimal, even though they stayed 30 minutes past closing for no reason other than to help me. Their service is great as well as their quality of work, but what was most refreshing was finding a business that appreciates and acknowledges the human side. They didn't just treat me like any random customer. They heard my needs and acquiesced. I am forever grateful to them and cannot recommend them highly enough. They are, without question, my future destination for all of my clothing cleaning needs. Thank you again.

BAD AND VERY CHEAP SERVICE !!! I gave them a coat to dry clean and waterproof and it came back to me without buttons... It was raining the day I came to complain and my vest under the rain coat was all wet. I very much doubt it ever was waterproofed and if it was, it was done very cheaply/rapidly. Instead of proposing to do the job I paid for a second time, the owner had nothing to say but to argue that waterproofing did not work on all fabric... Such as the fabric of an expensive Baltazar rain coat? Evidently, this man doesn't care about nothing else but the money he cashes in, nothing more. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Do not get anything dry cleaned here. The suit pants I had dry cleaned did not fit me anymore when I got them back. I don't know if they didn't bother reading the label or just didn't care, but my pants shrank and are now useless.

To be quite honest, I had read some of the reviews people left and I wasn't too confident in this place. But, I felt like I should give it a shot before judging them. I'm a student, I go out a lot, consequently, I need a dry cleaner for my party clothes (mostly dress shirts, ties, suits...). I needed a trustworthy place I could go to frequently, people I could trust with my clothing. I have not once been disappointed by their service. The owner seems really nice, and his daughter will greet you courteously, professionally, with a smile on her face. Their prices are extremely fair, their service is both fast (few days) and effective. It's now my go-to place for dry cleaning. Lastly, while it may not be my place to say such things, but it seems like all the comments on the owner being "impolite" were mass-posted at the same time, with very little details, almost seems sketchy. I was always greeted with a smile and treated very well and kindly.

This is worst cleaner I have seen ever. They damaged my shirt when ironed it. Most of the white part have been colored. I only wear that shirt once. It is a waste right now. They did not provide any compensation even though a apologize. I never seen any store owner with that kind of attitude in Canada. I feel sadness for them.

I've tried to a bunch of Dry Cleaners in Montreal downtown over the years, and have gotten my expensive and delicate brand name clothing ruined by some of them. Florida Dry Cleaners, I can honestly say hands down is the best Cleaners in Montreal Downtown. I'm a regular there for 5 years straight, since I've discovered the cleaners. They've never ruined any of my clothing items, and the service is always exceptional. The owner has over 15 years of experience in the Dry Cleaning, so he knows what he doing. I've gotten my expensive winter coats cleaned there for 5 years straight every year for example my Canada Goose, Mackage and Rudsaks, even my fall suede/leather jackets! All of them always came out looking brand new each time with the fur and leather looking perfectly new. The prices are reasonable, and the quality of cleaning is exceptional. The owner and the staff are very friendly, and welcoming always a great atmosphere. They all always remember my name, and make you feel special rather than a stranger. If I ever have a last minute business/ work related flight which I have had a few times that requires me to go out of town next day, they do my clothing as fast as possible, and are very understanding about it!
