I originally started using this cleaners because of the convenient location to my home. Now, even with their longer turn around time (2 days) I still take my work uniform to them. My uniform always come back clean, hung up and covered. The prices seem very realistic and the staff and friendly and accomodating.

Items are not cleaned onsite, increasing the risk of errors (delays) and misplaced items. Had positive experience on first visit. Reasonable service, choose to return. Second visit - Items weren't ready for pickup after the time they specified. I was asked to return just before close. Returning as such, they informed me only some items were ready. They then called me and let me know the rest of the items were at a different dry cleaners (Wright Cleaners) on Bayfield street. I drove over to pick up the rest of my items. Turns out, part of my batch of items wasn't return to this location today. I paid full price. No one took accountability. You might as well use Wright Dry Cleaners and know your items don't leave the building!

The owner is extremely rude. I inquired about a discount through my work and he said it only applies to union members, I explained that I am a union member and he went on to say "it doesn't apply to you". No idea why. My bill came to $200, and my stuff was not clean. There were still stains. Luckily I was able to get them out on my own but there is no excuse for them to still be there. I will not return.

Very disappointed with this place. I bought a coupon book for mental health charity which contained coupons for this cleaner, however when I took my dry cleaning here, they would not accept the coupon. Guess I will take my business somewhere else :(

Margaret the seamstress is the only lady I know that can hem and sew basically anything and everything...She has 30 plus years as a seamstress and is super nice and helpful and her work is 2nd to none ..She is the only seamstress that I trust and will get the item of clothing done in a timely manner and the price is more then fair for her skill set she should be charging more then what she does....Helen on front counter has to be the friendliest lady and with her English accent she can charm anyone ...She is fast & polite with her service... if there is any issue Helen is prompt ,effective and will make sure that you leave with a positive result ...The quality of dry cleaning is pretty good and the price to clean a dress shirt is cheap plus the store has online coupons & weekly/Monthly sales..like buy 1 get one free or 25 to 30% off different items...

Kind of hard to get in and out of. Could have put my blazer on a piece of cardboard to keep the shoulders filled out. Caused it to crease from the wire hanger.

Went in expecting to take 3 days to have my clothes returned to me like I did at the other cleaner in town. Went into the Cotty's across from the University and had my clothes back the next afternoon. Great job and a fair price, for 3 bucks a shirt saves me 25 minutes of trying to iron a shirt.

Ovarall seems to do alright on the normal dry cleaning services. Very unhappy with the price they charged me for shortening curtains. They didn't even call me to tell me the price and just did the service. They ended up charging twice the price of the curtains, they were walmart curtains. If I knew they would charge me as much as they did, I would of had a different service done or just gotten different curtains. They lost a customer because of their neglect to tell me how much they were going to charge.

Margaret and Kim took really good care of my Santa suit that needed some alterations. Their service and enthusiasm to help me out was outstanding. I tried it on before I left the store and it looked amazing. I plan on being back soon for more Santa needs. Margaret and Kim at Cottys on Essa Road in Barrie are definitely on the Nice list. I brought five pairs of jeans for hemming. When I picked them up I saw cleaning charges of $5.17 (with 50% discount taken) for each jeans. I asked what it was for and the lady said it's because of covid. I said I wasn't informed about cleaning charges when I dropped them off besides they were unworn, they still had the tags attached and she just dismissively said it is posted outside. I get it..mask,sanitize,clean but they should inform people about cleaning charges . Ok, I didn't read the note but still they should let customers know . Especially for unworn items could they just not "quarantine" them for two days? For all I know they didn't start working on those jeans two days after I left them there. The cleaning charges alone,with tax,cost me almost $30. Geez!

Wow!! New to the area, this store is very clean, bright and inviting. The ladies are both polite and "educational" I had alot of questions as I'm new to dry cleaning and picky about service. The one lady answered every single question I had and anticipated my needs. I came based on a referal and advice of a friend and I'm very pleased so far. I will be staying here. And bringing in my closet!!! Seamstress on site is a definite added bonus.

Just picked up my wife’s jacket from repair. The lady’s working today did such and great job as usual. We take everything thing that needs to be fixed or cleaned here. Very friendly and happy. Not to often you meet to amazing happy ladies like this! I would recommend Cotty’s to anyone. They do suck a great job and very fast. Btw thank you for the delicious candy canes.

Saw this on google and figured it would be a good stop off between home (Toronto) and the cottage for dry cleaning. Walked in and WOW, it just reeked of the smell of cigarette smoke. Not sure if that is a normal thing but have not smelt that amount of smoke in a confined place since my party days at friends places in the 90s. On top of that heard the price they charged one guy for a pair of pants. Over double the normal rate I pay in Toronto. Wow...will not return...

We will not recommend this place especially if you care about your clothes and linen ( that are high quality). First our items came twice with the same stains and with new stains that were not there before the cleaning service. They do not inform you that the work was not complete when you pick up your items and they do charge it for a regular cleaning price. I had to go back home noticing the stains ( old and new) I went back to the shop to understand why the stain was still there and why there is for a second time others news stains on it. I just asked for a refund and they refused it, simply giving you the only choice to re do a work you already paid. If you care about quality items maybe prefer to go somewhere else.

Way Over priced! . Super over priced for curtains. I came in at 345 to pick up and they said my order would be ready for 5. The lady was just starting my service and I wasn’t told it would be 50$ per panel. That’s just nuts. I came back and she finished my super simple work for blinds in 1 1/2 hrs and I was charged 200$ for 6 small panels that I paid $10 each What a rip off. I will find a new place in Barrie to have my dry cleaning and alterations done. This place is a rip off for sure.
