Beautiful view and good food. My husband and I each had a salmon dish and it was delicious and came out in a timely manner (although we got there 45 mins prior to close so there weren't a lot of people). The waitress was friendly but I felt rushed when ordering (which again could've been the time we were there). But overall a delicious meal and good experience!

My wife and I had our dinner here last night. Our seat was by the window, I doubt I've been in a restaurant that could beat McCurdey's for scenery! Penny, our waitress was hard working and friendly, she also enhanced our experience. As to the food, it was very good. I had a New York strip steak and my wife had fish and chips and we both agree that while it might not be the very best we've ever had it was damn good and we both were very happy punters at the end of the night.

We had a wonderful meal. Our waitress was attentive and the view was spectacular! The maple/curry seafood dish was heavenly and the maple whiskey salmon was delicious!

Great ambience, great view, great service and good food! Not the cheapest, but reasonable! A good place for a meal if you're staying in Baddeck!

I cant rave about this place enough!!! Most friendly staffed restaurant that I've ever been too, they were super busy, still got served in a very timely manner! Beautiful view and the presentation of their food is phenomenal.

Found this place while doing the Nova Scotia seafood trail. Food was delicious and service was great. We had a beautiful view of the lake. Couldn't ask for better!

We spent two weeks in Cape Breton and McCurdy's provided us with the best combination of starters, main course, dessert and service we encountered on our Trip. Did I mention the amazing view and ambiance? Bravo!!!

The service was great, the view was fantastic, the local wine was exceptional, and the fresh local grilled salmon was to die for. We went on vacation to Cabot Trail almost a month ago now and I would go back just for this salmon. I was disappointed with the rest of the salad however and left most of it untouched. Raw mushrooms, a bunch of raw red onions, not very appetizing, but that salmon I could go on about for days!
