I go here on a regular basis.. I dont know whos writi g all these positive views because the chick on the front cash is the laziest person ... I think she hates her job .. gonna video tape her sometime and let her go famous.. and there is always staff in thw womens washroom talking on the phone It never ends. Spend 14 minutes on hold and then he hangs up... impossible to speak to someone Today's kent adventure... we walk in the door my husband has a pop can ,he went to put the can in the garbage. And the cashier says i"s there any pop in there , my husband says there might be a drop".She says well it doesn't go in there . What is wrong with this place? It's like everytime we come here .... by the time you get past the big blotchy cashier .. your mood is ruined for shopping Today's kent entertainment .. "over"

Always had every thing we needed. I never heard of Kent when we lived in Ontario, moving here exposed me to the establishments with multiple locations. Kent had everything we needed to complete the home renovation of indoor and outdoor. We love their kitchen cabinets, ordered our counter top and awaiting it's arrival. We are happy by the respect and care staff give when you come in with an agenda of items you need, services you want to inquire about an estimate or to confirm and proceed with their services after receiving the estimate. The garden centres are lovely and the indoor tropical plants are always pretty decent looking. There is always amazing clearance details at all of their locations. The staff made sure we got the online sale price as we had trouble ordering line (webpage glitch), and when we had to wait for one particular cabinet to come it, they made sure to give us the sale price even though it was a week or two later. Because we bought enough cabinets for the entire kitchen. They did not want us prepaying for that one size/piece incase any confusion was to follow. So we came back with the memo, the previous bills and met back with the same managers that worked collaboratively at the various locations to help make sure we got all the pieces we needed. Delivery was amazing and when we did come to discover perfectly conditioned boxes were opened up upon installation; and see the cabinets are internally damaged, they exchange and process was flawless with no hassle. They really made a stressful situation more manageable and enjoyable. Had the staff and management been rude or judging or difficult or had there been no stock or unwilliness to assist and work and help make the huge sales; there would have been huge anxiety and disgruntledness on our part to never want to renovate and repair ever again. Kent(s) made our handy selves and DIY projects achievable and the final outcome super successful. We did have to wait for our counter top to be made to measure and shipped out from out of province into the store for pick up but .... It was worth the wait. After harassment at a competitor's sole location: we were overjoyed that Kent could accommodate.

Conception Bay South. Poor customer service at the front counter. The young girl checked me in and when I asked her some questions she gave me a half answer and turned away to the person behind her and started to ignore me. My husband doesn't even go there anymore because of the lack of customer service.

Although it's a smaller location you may find alot of products will not be picked over.. Often times at the other location picking lumber is a task at best the cbs location its never a chore.. This visit I was looking for cedar shakes and the other 3 locations either never had it, couldn't find it or the shakes weren't worth making splits to burn.. Cbs location had them on hand when I arrived.. Great help and the product was in excellent condition.. Pleasure shopping..

As far as a building supply store goes this one has it all. They stock everything you could need to build a home or a garden shed. They also have so e great tools for the do it your selfer or for the weekend woodworker. Their prices are great compared to their local competition, and if they don't have a particular item they will get it for you. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the staff members. I am greeted every time, as I enter the store and the cashiers are very friendly. However I have had some staff walk away when I approach them and have others say "well you know more than me about this." And walk away without even thinking of asking another co-worker. Overall a great store but some if the staff needs additional customer service training.

Zero customer service at the conception Bay South location. I told myself 8-9 months ago I'd never go there again but today I tried again but nothing has changed I just end up at customer service getting a refund. It's all too common for them to sell you something and when you go to pick it up it is gone and everyone acts oblivious. Staff has zero knowledge of what is on the shelves. Their go to answer is 'we don't stock that here but Mount pearl does' and when you walk around the corner you'll see the item you were looking for. My advice is if you don't want to ruin your day spend your money somewhere where they actually care about your business.

Customer service is not that great. Staff were not helpful. Asked for help and the man pointed to a few things then left. He dis not answer my question. When trying to get paint in the paint department the lady was rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to speak. While I was waiting for my paint she was also rude to other customers that were looking for help. The person that checked me in was the only person that was helpful and kind.

I went to Kent Conception Bay South, NL yesterday to have two keys cut. They had to page for the associate twice before someone came. I gave the associate my key and told her it was printed on the key which one to use. She ignored me and took out a key and cut two for me. I went home and of course it did not work. Back I go and this time I told the girl on the counter what had happened. Again I waited and the manager was passing by. She told me the girl used the wrong one and proceeded to pick out two more. I went home and these did not fit. Back I go for the third time and went to the service deck and asked to see the manager. The girl opened the managers door and said the keys didn’t fit and the manager waved her out of the office. I asked for my money back and we went to the service desk. NOT one word of apology or the trouble I had going back three times. She gave me a refund and still no response. The manager never did come out of the office to talk to me. Very poor customer service. I won’t shop there again and I will go to Home Hardware. Certainly a very bad experience.

Customer service is a joke. Ordered 2 boxes of siding 10 days ago. I was told a day or 2 and it would be ready. Checked in 2 days later and was told Friday. Waited until the following monday and called again only to be told "there's a note here for someone to pick it up asap". Waitied another 2 days and called again just to be told it still hasn't been picked up.

I shop here about 3times a week for lumber and supplies. The staff are very friendly in all stores and they are upto date on the products they sell or reccomend to their customers. Customers are always greeted with a smile and also ask if the customer needs help. Very professional .

Yesterday , when I got to this store there was a lack of personal to help and when I walk men to help in the wood dept he said it was the other guy so I got the go around a couple times , then I got to paint dept got a 5 gallon of ceiling paint marks w/o a yellow sticker stuck to bin at 79.00 I go to the cash she rings 133.98 told saw her that the price is on the bin, so she ask the women for the paint to check , lacy comes back said this is a mistake she remove the stickers from th bin and discard it , so I returned the 5 gallons Beware of that store customer service stinks and at cash the re was no number showing on the keypad for payment cash 1 so watch your bills make sure all is correct b4 living

Wonderful place to shop, they have a wide variety of anything and everything. Later at night when you shop (after 5) and there are mainly very young people working it is hard to get any type of help but during the day when all office staff is in you will most definitely get help in every department.
