Took my king size duvet and mattress protector there. The machines I used worked great. Lots of room for the duvet. The woman working there was very friendly and helpful. She helped me decide on the proper machine and instructed me on how much deterrent to use. I don't go to laundry mats very often but of the 4 in the city I've used, this is the best one so far! Machines and business was very clean!

They open early and stay open late, which is great for someone who works unusual hours like myself. While some machines are sometimes inoperable or in need of repair, I've never had to wait to get my laundry going. They share a parking lot with a number of other business, but again, I've never been stuck without a spot to park. There is a counter where the accept clothing for dry cleaning and make change. When visiting outside of the staffed hours there is a change machine on site that I've yet to see empty. The entire laundromat has always been clean and tidy whenever I've visited. Finally, and possibly best of all, they're next door to a gelato store so you can get a nice italian coffee and a treat while you wait!

Clean and pleasant service... Can we stress the word clean? The owner is a lovely lady... Says, "Hello"... Is in regularly to make sure everything is tidy and running smoothly... Not a place to loiter but a civil place to do laundry and get it done... Multiple machines... We usually finish ours in under two hours from wash to fold... Free WiFi available on site or bring a good book or friend to converse with...

Out of province student, had no idea where to do my laundry but luckily i came across this place. Turned out to be excellent choice, never busy, cheap prices, helpful lady and good machines.

Machines take quarters and some only take loonies. Come prepared with appropriate change, but there is a change machine located in the back if you only have bills. There are plenty of top load washers and along the back you'll find a few of the newer front load washers. For comforters and blankets, there are two double load machines and three triple load machines ($7 per load, loonies only). As for drying, the newer Dexter dryers are extra large, very powerful and cuts your drying time in half. At a rate of $.25 per 5 minutes, you can dry a comforter for about $1.25. Bring your own laundry soap, fabric softener and dryer sheets. If you happen to forget, you can buy some from the vending machine in the front. Limited seating and no bathroom. Mind your step and be careful of the parking out front because the pavement and asphalt is quite uneven.

Nice laundry place and its open late. But be careful if you go late at night alone. We were the only ones there and we heard a banging noise from the dryer across the room that was empty. And later we left and came back and we saw a shadow by the chair in the front and then it moved near the entrance. Kinda creepy. We just ignored it and finished and left.

Came in when it wasn't busy, the "hot" water came out cool. I asked the manager and she was evasive. Grease from the dryer drum rubbed onto my whites. Not cool. Won't be back. Must be a new owner trying to cut corners.

Decently priced laundry mat. With a large selection of washer small medium large and extra large. I only visit during after hours. So I don't know the office or hours. Change machine in laundromat. Open late until 11pm evening evening. Large selection of dryers. Soap and dry sheet vending machine in laundromat as well. Easily accessible by trantist via route 1 Bowness/Forestlawn.

A very nice Asian woman assisted me today to wash my comforter and pillow shams. The laundromat was clean and machines worked great! Located in Kensington with ample parking in the lot directly out front. I would recommend this place! ????

Been living in Calgary for over 5 years. Tried 3 other laundromats and this is what I’ve concluded of the Layton’s Laundromat [Pros] - Extremely clean machines (washers & dryers) with single, double & triple loaders - Friendly owner (available on the premises from 9-6pm) - Open early & closes late 7AM to 10 or 11PM - Sink with water & table for folding clothes is available - Change machine & dispensers (with detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener and garbage bag) available - Parking is available [Cons] - Limited bathrooms (didn’t bother me much - can usually be in and out within an hour including drying)

I was at the laundromat April 13, 2019 around 6:30 . I was washing my queen sized feather pillow. I waiting for my pillow to dry and it was in the first top dryer along side the over sized washing machine. When I returned to get the pillow it was not there. If you took it in error can you please return it to the office. I look forward in its return. Thank you

Machines usually eat quarters/loonies. Washing machines are sometimes dirty, and transfer onto your clothes. Be very careful which machines to use. And watch your things, people have tried to steal my phone, laundry basket etc. Staff are a little over bearing and hover over you while using machines. Overall clean, but expensive if you forget detergent or bounce.
