My daughter Amelia attends Rothewood Academy. I’m very pleased with her school. They are amazing teachers, they care about their students and they are very attentive and listen to parents when parents bring forward any concerns. I highly recommend this school!

We started my son at Rothewood this September and we have been nothing but pleased with the care and curriculum. The teachers are so sweet with the kids and they take the time with each child to get to know them which helps with individualized care. The meals are fantastic, the activities are educational, and he really loves it there. The staff are all so helpful and accommodating, which really helped ease any worries I had about sending my son to daycare during a pandemic. Thank you Rothewood staff! Definitely recommend!

This new Rothewood Academy location is scheduled to open February 2020 and they aren't moving from another location. Desperately lacking compassion and mindful business practices. We paid a deposit to be used as the last months tuition. During covid, the president (Mark Leslie) sent out a letter stating they would not be charging tuition if we chose to keep our children home, and that the school was only remaining open for children of essential/frontline care works. This decision was also mandated by government, if you can stay at home you should. During covid, we decided to leave the lower mainland and move to the interior. Given the severe health risks and the fact that we were able to remain home, we gave sufficient notice and chose for our daughter to not return. The president then withdrew his given options and said we only have one option, we must attend to use our last months tuition.

If I could give Rothewood Academy more stars, I would in a heart beat. I have worked at child care centres which are owned by terrible people, but Rothewood is the complete opposite. The owners are SUCH kind and genuine human beings, and they treat their staff like family. They get to know their teachers and families, and actually have so much part in the schools. You can tell that they have put their heart and souls into this company. I love coming to work everyday, because of them. We take so much pride in our school, and in the amazing philosophy Rothewood Academy makes me so proud to be in this field of work, and we can’t work for our White Rock school to shine!

So grateful to have found a place that met all our needs with extended hours, in house chef, daycare cam, low staff to child ratio and a beautiful, bright space with a great rooftop playground for rothewood kids only. covid procedures and abundant handwashing are a great thing to see, and the secure building, attentive and accessible staff and leadership makes us very glad we found this place. highly recommend, our daughter comes home with new artwork and new things (sign language, songs, dances) learned every day.

My son has been attending Rothewood White Rock for the past few months and we have had a very positive experience! The teachers are lovely, the administration has great communication and the facility is beautiful. Food is included in the tuition and it is prepared fresh by their chef each day and my son loves almost every meal (which is saying something for a 19 month old!) I feel comfortable leaving my son at Rothewood each day because I know he will have fun and be kept safe.
