My daughter has been to 3 preschools. GATEHOUSE MONTESSORI is her favourite school. The teachers are very professional and patient. They help develop her concentration in a school environment. I like their educational philosophy and care/focus on children.

The best traditional Montessori school in West Vancouver. Could not be happier with the teachers and staff. My daughter grew so much more confident in Gatehouse and not to mention she was reading and writing as much as a grade 1/2 after kindergarten.

I have both of my children studying in Gatehouse. My son spent 3 years in the school and learnt a lot from the basic living skills to academic knowledge. When he graduated from kindergarten there, he could do 4 digital addition and was learning multiplication; could read simple words using phonics; knew about galaxy, continents and countries. When his sister born in 2018, he brought a pillow back from school as a gift for his sister, which was made, sewed all by himself. I was so touched. Seeing all his improvements and achievements, I registered my daughter without hesitation. She is learning in the school right now and she's always back home happily, even on the first day of the school in her life. Teachers and principal are really kind, patient and lovely. They are caring about and always paying attention on children. We can always get important and useful feedbacks on children's learning and emotion in the school. Both of my children love teachers there.

Field Family

My daughter loves the school and has learned so much since she has started in September. I feel very confident that she is set up for academic success in her elementary school years. She's also made a lot of friends through opportunities to socialize with other children during snack, lunch and playground time. The teachers are fantastic! Really love the full day option for 4 year olds!

We sent both our children to Gatehouse. A total of 4 years. It's a wonderful preschool. The teachers were amazing and the routine was so great for our children. Miss Gretchen and Miss Sundeep are also so involved with all the children and everyone is so kind and thoughtful. Our children absolutely loved going every day and they learned such amazing things!!!

One of the more authentic Montessori schools in the lower mainland. Both my kids loved going to school so much that we’ve had to drive them to Gatehouse a few times just to show them that school was closed on weekends and holidays. Wished I kept both of them until the 3rd year - my younger one really got so much from the kindergarten program that he was always ahead in elementary and developed a genuine love for reading. The teachers are amazing and so are the families that attend that school.

Our son started going to Gatehouse back in September. Aside from the first couple days showing a bit of dismaying leaving us behind, he is excited to get ready every morning and leaves school happy at noon. Constantly learning new stuff and sharing them with us at home. The school discipline also seems to be in line with our own teachings. Teachers and principal at Gatehouse are very caring. We see they put efforts to make kids happy and safe not to mention nurturing kids' knowledge. We are satisfied with the Gatehouse staff and programs and highly recommend Gatehouse. Thank you,

Gatehouse Montessori is one of the most authentic Montessori school running with certified AMI Montessori teachers for over 40 years. From practical life, sensorial activities, to language, math, geography, and grace and courtesy (Not to mention their fabulous French program); their loving teachers will guide young children to progress well through the three year program. Most graduates become competitive applicants for private schools and proactive learners in their later elementary school. Upon completing the third year kindergarten program, children are very strong in their leadership and interpersonal skills. With my three years of experience sending all my three children to Gatehouse, I would strongly recommend this school.

Gatehouse is a prestigious Montessori school in West Vancouver. All the teachers are professional and they can pay attention on each child.Choosing a suitable school for kids are difficult for most of the parents. I felt that I am so lucky choosing Gatehouse which is suitable for my daughter and my son. My daughter was graduated from school after finishing 3 years full program. She extremely loved Gatehouse and the teachers helping her grow a lot, not only for the academic but also for the social skill and leader skill ( for the third year). My son is studying at school now and he is very happy to go to school. A Head of School and all the teachers are making extra efforts during COVID period to keep all the kids happy, safe and calm.Gatehouse is like a big family and I am grateful for the school.
