Our kids have enjoyed all the programs at LCNS so much! The teachers are excellent, and sensitive to the needs of each individual child. My children enjoy the opportunities for child led play and learning, sensory and exploration activities, and come home singing the songs from circle time. Highly recommend!

Very dissatisfied with the school - beware they will not allow you to help your kids transition to the classroom if they need extra transition time to be in the classroom without you. Too bad the place had a lot of potential with the right liaison. Oh and the positive reviews are mostly from people who work there. Yes and overwhelming emails and paperwork for so few hours of care per week.

My 3 kids go to Lakeshore co-op and they absolutely love it. They all look forward going to school and seeing their friends and teachers. My husband and I are very happy with everything. Teachers are the most amazing teachers you could ever wish for, they are kind patient, loving and full of knowledge. The installations are great and we love the community. Fabulous teachers, and a wonderful experience for kids and parents alike. It isn't a day care, but rather a cooperative preschool for a few mornings a week. My kids LOVED it there. And I made some lasting friendships with other parents I met. And then they went to off to 'big kid school' with some of the friends they met there.

My son just loves going to preschool Monday and Wednesdays because of the great staff and the fun toys here! Each week there are new things for him to play with, he gets one on one attention from the teachers, and he loves making new friends! The preschool does lots of fun field trips, has social events, and is warm and welcoming to everyone! I highly recommend Lakeshore Co-op to others!

Our son loves his preschool days and wakes up excited and happy to hear that he is going. He has made great friends, and so have I! It's been such a treat spending time with the kids on my duty days, and while it seems overwhelming at first, you will quickly discover that the work to be done is fun, fulfilling and fruitful. The children learn and the program teachers are so caring and friendly. I would highly recommend this school for your kids and your family.

I would give no stars if I could. Very very rigid. Way too many daily emails, nuisance phone calls and social requirements. We wanted a pre school experience for our boy, nothing more. I also completely agree with the other one star review and yes the good reviews are all from board members. This preschool is not a co operative it is more suitably called an unco operative.

Our family has a long history with LCNS and we've been happy to remain part of the school's community. The children have enjoyed their first "school" experience and have made many friends. A great place for mom and dad to find new friends, too!

The co-op nursery school experience is a fantastic way to get your preschooler ready for school --- they learn how to transition from activity to snack to recess, create a hundred crafts that you will be grateful they did at nursery school and not on your carpet at home, and they form their first friendships. I loved the co-op experience (helping regularly in the classroom) as it allowed me to get to know the other children and their parents and see firsthand how my child was adjusting to a classroom setting. Can't wait for our second child to join this fall!

It has been such a pleasure to be a part of the Lakeshore community! Both of my children are currently attending the school and their social, academic and motor skills have improved a great deal. The teachers work to establish routine and independence and are so dedicated to exploring each childs' individual interests. It has also been great as a mother to be so involved in my childrens' learning and to meet and work alongside friends in the process! ----- Kristen
