Some of the arrows for traffic flow in covid times are a bit wonky.. due to layout.. the self checkouts can be very annoying when your not in a good mood..ha ha ???? Always clean and organized is why I like Safeway

Normally, Safeway is very consistent, and I have been in many from Manitoba to BC. I went to the deli department to get one of my favorite sandwiches, Turkey and Havarti on multigrain. The young man appeared apologetic, the ingredients weren't readily available and the sauces were not labeled and neither he or I could tell which one was the garlic sauce, this after he spent the time to cut the Turkey meat. Not entirely Safeway fault, employee turnover is probably higher in northern communities.

Wow! Safeway has changed a lot since I was there last. I love the bulk section. Staff was very polite and helpful, and the floor is clearly marked to help maintain social distancing and other covid protocols.

They need to start packing your groceries. This safeway is very expensive and the least they can do is pack my groceries. Safeway in thompson does have one of the best selections of food. But need to learn to pack people's groceries.

always easy to shop. the place is well lit and will not make you feel claustrophobic. most things i need to buy is available. the deli choices tastes fair for the price. the self check out counters are also very convenient. the sale items are labeled properly too. the parking outside is not too crowded too. they also have staff around most of the time if needing assistance to locate a certain item, they appear well informed of where things are. very helpful to have them. the flower shop is one of my faves in safeway, the selection and the price is very good.

The staff here are helpful and friendly. If you need to find something they have no problem walking you right to it. Always spotless and well lit. Is easy to find what you need and get out quickly. Great self-check area with attentive staffing.

It is our one fail safe grocery store. Staff sure work hard. The Deli is a great change from the usual fast food places. The Pharmacy Staff are knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help serve your needs.

Safeway is a very nice place to shop for all your groceries. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh, and the place is well organized and clean. Employees are friendly, and very helpful if asked for help. All well organized. The only thing missing are the shopping baskets that they took away! Now we are left with these big bazooka carts that are heavy to push for someone with a wrist problem like myself. If you want to go shopping for only a few items, you are either stuck carrying them in your arms, and they keep falling off your hands' or placing the few little items in those big bazookas carts! That's the only downside about shopping at Safeway. '''No baskets'''????
