A school to be. Friendly lectures who are either qualified Professors or Doctors. Being a small school, everyone knows everyone. And also classes are divided into different times, to make classes small, for better communication with course Instructors.

I was attending at SGIoT 2017 conference at Algoma University. I rented a room at the residence for 55CAD per night. The room was clean and free wifi and parking is provided.

In this particular instance I was using the George Leech facilities at Algoma. the facilities are new, spacious, not overly crowded and have the equipment I need to complete my workout. Overall very content with my experience.

Its been really annoying that algoma takes so long to issue LOA. Almost 20 Business days means around a month for just printing LOA? You guys needs to recruit more staffs for this. Atleast learn something from some big and top university in Ontario. Be aware ppl before applying for any course LOA takes so long to process.

A smaller University, you will get a lot of hands on time with the professors. Class sizes are generally smaller as well so you will become quite tightnit with your classmates.

Good university. You can get a very nice one on one experience with your professors. I personally know almost all of mine on a first name basis, and they all know me. Residence rooms are very high quality. A lot better than one would expect for a place if this size.

I attended a pow wow at algoma university, the facilities were great, I especially appreciated the security holding open the doors, great campus, will attend again next year.

People and co-workers are great. But the people who work in registrar's are really slow. University charges for the graduation letter ! I mean this should come with the graduation itself but then they want you to spend some money to receive necessary documents. Moreover after choosing priority post also they deliver the transcripts and document after 3 weeks. This is just a place where you have to beg 10 other people to escalate the process. Some of the departments and professors are really good. They support you and stand by you. But some of them just want to do nothing and be stubborn about it.

I had got offer letter from algoma university, Brampton in july 19 2021 for project management january intake. The due date for fee payment is mentioned as october 15.. But when i tried to pay the fees on september 1 my agency informed me that i cannot pay fees anymore because it is closed. No one from the university had informed me previously about the closing of admissions. Is this the policy of the university towards the students?

Algoma University is a school. It is located on the east side of the city of Sault Ste Marie. There is a Tim Hortons on campus. There are student residents as well. The George Leach centre is also located on campus. The George Leach centre is a fitness centre which is open to the public but you must have a membership.

Scammers! They give you a pepper and if you don’t fill it they fine you with 50 Canadian dollars. They took 100 Dollars for a bed sheet! They always tell you what to do despite knowing the fact that you gave a fortune to this university! All I can say is stay away from universities. They only scam you, they only want your money not your brilliant intelligence, you are here because of your money!

I use the George Leacg center to be physically active, the facility is very clean and all the equipment is top notch. There is lots to do from the tennis and basketball court to the track and gym.

The university is a great place to work out. A ton Of equipment,interesting classes (Kendo, Tae Kwon do, kettlebells), and afterwards you can hit up the Speakeasy pub.

As a place to stay, I can't really speak to the quality of that. I've been in some of the rooms for students and they all seemed fine. As a university, though, it's hit or miss. Some professors are amazing, while others leave much to be desired.

You can get a good education somewhere else. Passed with good grades and all, but if you plan on changing your program or schools good luck. They do not help you through the process at all. They will not answer your questions to the full extent, leaving out key information. All they seem to care about is getting your full tuition.
