This school is amazing, I have went here almost my whole life, Teachers and staff members are so supportive, so sad that this is my last year, I’ve had so many great memories at this school, if your thinking about attending lake ridge do it, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made

Attended this elementary school from 1st to 4th grade. Overall it's a nice school. However, I experienced some very poor disciplining and witnessed other students being poorly disciplined. To be more specific teachers would yell at students in front of all the other student and shame them for whatever they did. It's an elementary school. In grades 1-4 kids are not doing anything so terrible that they needed to be screamed at. The teachers never spoke to a student privately to correct behaviour just yelled at the kids in front of all the other kids. humiliating them. Some teachers over disciplined. Students would do minor things that could be handled by the teacher telling them to stop. Instead the minor issues got treated like major life altering issues that if continued would affect every kid in the class. Nice school but the teacher are clueless with discipline. Maybe things have changed since I was there.
