If you are student at Laval University, and you live nearby.. This place could be your favourite grocery. It is very close, 5-10 minutes walk from University. It is located inside of Place Ste. Foy mall. The price sometimes fluctuates but it is reasonable. For those who loves seafood, they also sell frozen octopus and many varieties of seafood. There are diverse choices of fruits including dragon fruit, kumquat, passion fruits and many more.

Very complet shop that you find every things that you need .In my opinion, metroplus has more goods than metro but overall metro shops are very good, have good prices and great discounts. And we can import the goods ourselves with a barcode scanner, the fruit and vegetable part is perfect, and even has a place to sit and drink coffee. You can use English or French to calculate prices and pay. but remember , because ask you do you need plastic sac or not , and at the end ask you howmany plastic sac you get .

This grocery store has a vast range of products. From typical canadian products to exotic ones for the immigrant clientele that comes from the university campus across the street. However there is a major problem and that is the price range. The price of milk and meat for example can be 2-4$ more then at the competitors such as Walmart at the other end of the shopping mall or if you have a car the price difference is dramatic compared to Costco. If you have no choice to shop there because of its location in downtown Ste-Foy try to minimize your selection and complete the rest of your list at another shop if you can. It will save you a lot of money.

A great supermarket with just about everything you need food wise. Pretty easy to get in and out even if you don't know any French! You should bring or buy a shopping bag though, I'm not sure the plastic bags are free or expected. Plus you can reuse the bags you bring!

Je m'en sors toujours avec une facture raisonnable. De plus, il y a souvent des rabais qui valent la peine et la qualité des produits est très bonne. Prenez la carte Métro&Moi! Vous accumulez des rabais (l'épicerie est je dépense que vous ferez pour le restant de vos jours) et vous avez des coupons qui, je l'avoue, ne sont pas toujours utiles, mais aident quand même de temps en temps. Je recommande de ne pas aller à l'épicerie le soir, car il est possible qu'il manque d'articles en rabais.

My first impression was not good. In fact, I didn’t get in the store. I parked and wanted to walk down the street, come back and get groceries. The security guard approached me. I tried to explain in French, then English what my intentions were. I showed her my Nova Scotia license plate and again tried to explain.
