Staff are very supportive of children's interests and development. They go above and beyond the provide rich learning experiences for the kids. I would highly recommend Red Deer Childcare Society for all your childcare needs. Red Deer Childcare is a very reliable Child Care company who cares about the children, parents and staff. I would like to point out that issues with subsidy are in no way the agency's fault and they try to help you through that process as much as possible.

They are in desperate need of better communication between their system and the government/ subsidy department. Don't expect subsidy to communicate for you or visa versa. Do all the communicating yourself. Double check every couple of months to make sure you are still receiving subsidy. I ended up in a deficit because their system was claiming I was receiving subsidy when the subsidy office had actually cut me off sooner than I had expected. This resulted in my having to pull my son from the Dayhome he had been attending for a couple years because I couldn't come up with the remaining full balance after months of regular payments. Also they could use a more empathetic tone from employees in charge of collecting outstanding balances, when dealing with families coming into financial hardship. Not everyone who is broke is a delinquent. And I was most definitely treated like one. Other than that, my Dayhome provider was the most amazing woman I have ever had care for my son and we will miss her dearly. Her name is Caryl. I highly recommend her services. She is worth tenfold what she is paid.
