They were just voted Business of the Year by the Quesnel & District Chamber of Commerce. Also they get very involved in local non-profits and community building initiatives. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Normally Save On is a great place to shop. No problems there. But when I got to the cashier there were four employees standing around gossiping about and shredding one of their colleagues, which included naming this person out loud enough that I could hear the name. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I didn't know who they were talking about but maybe another customer might have. Gossiping is never a good thing. Especially in front of customers. The cashier was more interested in continuing with this negative gossip than she was in ringing through my purchases. Very Disappointed.

Good grocery store to shop @ lots of parking, liquor store,and there is always sales on most product s in-store Pharmacists are knowledgeable and regular staff happy to help customers.I am wheelchair dependant all staff will assist me ,they all ways polite with me.Good produce and meat! ????

Rarely enough tills open, be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes to check out your groceries. The upside is this place has the best produce in town hands down. (Besides the local farmers market on Saturday's). The Deli rarely ever changes, same old everything, deli at Safeway is much better and they change things up from time to time. All-in-all if I had to shop at only one of the 4 major grocery stores in town, (Save-On-Foods, Safeway, Extra Foods and Walmart) I would pick Save-On-Foods.

Great place to find special groceries. Famous for always fresh produce. Really helpful and friendly staff. Great sortiment of European sausage in rhe Deli section, if you ask they will pack it for you in brown paper instead of plastic. The only place in Quesnel to buy Avalon milk! Nice and freah sortiment of flowers. Free pieces of fruit for the kids (I love it!). The only place in town to buy German bread from the Lac LaHache Bakery.

I like the case lit sales they have. The sale is better than a lot of the other sale prices at other grocery stores. The staff are friendly and well informed not heir products and where they are in the store. The only thing I don't like is the most of the time they have higher prices than most grocery stores.
