We were driving and had to book at the last min. We tried booking online but there was not enough service. I phoned the hotel and asked if they could match booking.com. maybe I should have asked their price before. $149 was in booking. When I later search it was $144 with the hotel directly. I paid $149 + taxes.
We missed the hotel by a block as it was dark and it looks like an old building. It was pretty clean except for the elevator which smelled a bit. I asked for a tea and the reception lady offered me one. She said the coffee machine in the room has cups but no coffee or tea. They have it in the room where they serve breakfast but they only had black tea which I do not normally drink at night
The room is ok. The AC makes a terrible noise but we were tired after a long drive and it bothered only so much. A fridge and microwave in the room as well. The bathroom only has 2 hand soaps. It was ok for us. The bed was not very comfy. I am not sure what smelled, the sheets or the bed in general but it did smell. I even thought they had not been changed but with covid and all, it looked like they were following protocols.
Breakfast was the best part. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cereal milk, pancakes, eggs, muffins, toast, bagel and condiments. Also yogurt and coffee. The coffee was really good. Parking right there also in the price. Checking in and out was easy.
