I find its hard to find stuff sometimes but they always have more meat on sale than sobeys does and supperstore has a board of coupons in front of the doors before you go in. This store is by a strech if car dealerships too.

New Glasgow superstore has a poor meat and a non existent fish selection. Lost of fresh vegetables and fruit but way overpriced. Elmsdale superstore has better meat selection as does Antigonish as well as Sydney River. GlaceBay is hit and miss. Halifax of course has it all.

Only Superstore in the area, so it can be a bit busy at time. I also find the layout very confusing. For someone that does't go often I find it hard to navigate and find anything I am trying to buy. I remember when this store opened up back when I was 10 years old! Quite the event, it became the biggest grocery store in Atlantic Canada if memory serves? Now that I'm all grown up and buy my own groceries instead of tagging along with Mum, I've gotta say I love this store and it'll always remind me of my hometown, New Glasgow. Outside of the numerous Sobeys, I believe this is the only other grocery store in Pictou County. It is shockingly very large based on the population of the area. Because of this, the store never seems very busy as there is lots of room to roam around. It's nice to have another option other than Sobeys to help reduce grocery costs.

Just back from a visit to Superstore. Often we pick up funds at bank machine and impulse buy while there. The bank machine there now asks for a $3.00 service charge. The change over to CIBC gave lots of notice but this amount to me is unacceptable. While I will still shop there for groceries sometimes it will only be for full orders. I wonder if they looked at this carefully enough or at all. The folks that work there are still the same good people but there has to be a reasonable limit to these charges.

disgusted. bought a pre made salad and there was a moldy tomato in it. purchased the same day it was made so it was made moldy. not the first time they have had moldy produce either. the last two times I wanted blueberries the top ones were fine but if you shook the container you could see everyone under was moldy. I find it hard to believe they keep the store clean for covid if they have moldy produce. won't be back other than to return the salad.

Disappointed in the produce section. Everything is dry and limp and should be thrown out. On top of that they never keep up with demand. They dont cater to different ethnicities in the produce section. What happened to the star fruit and other such things every other superstore had? Im really disgusted how this store is run.

Visit the store for meat that's on sale often, and of course purchase many other items... The discounted meat goes in the flyer to bring people to the store so they willl spend money on other things, conveinently the sale item is often out of stock. They always have the same product with a different label though for triple the price.
